Bluestone Lane had a promo where you can use WeWork on their behalf. It's a one-time deal. Without the discount, it would cost me $29 per day. Due to fact I had to take a tour of a facility nearby, I booked this location. When I arrived, the security guard asked for my identification card. Then, I encountered a friendly staff member when I was on the 19th floor. She looked me up in her system then she gave me a keycard. I was informed this would allow me to use their workspace I booked. Moreover, I found out that I can scan it to get into the building. When I came back from lunch, I asked her if I have to give the keycard back. I found out it is mine to keep if I want to book a workspace at another WeWork facility. The users are mostly young Caucasians and Asians. WeWork provides free coffee. I was impressed they offered various dairy options (oat milk, half & half and organic milk). Would I use WeWork again? For the price, I would come back. It's a nice change of scenery. read more

Writing a review about their memberships & billing. On September 30, I reached out to cancel my membership but called back to stop the cancellation shortly after. I was informed that it was too late to stop the cancellation support and was advised to handle it online since they could not help me extend it over the phone. However, when attempting to sign up again, I was unable to use my previous email (it was saying it was used and only offered to renew), which led me to register with a new one. This has inadvertently committed me to a new one-year membership, even though I only needed the space for one more month, which I was told I could do the way I did it online. I clearly stated that I only needed the membership for one more month. The support team can refer to call recordings. Given that I have been using the same keycard and space as the same individual, I kindly requested that they cancel the new membership that I signed up for by mistake. As my company will no longer cover the membership fee, I got into trouble because of that. I don't think it's fair to apply another year of commitment to the same person who has already been a member since spring 2023. Taking they couldn't help me over the phone I believe they could make an exception and cancel it. Very disappointed in their customer success policy. If before I thought I'd come back myself with another job, now I do not want to deal with them ever again. read more

So after about 4-5 months of working from this WeWork, I decided to cancel my membership. Some of it was due to my situation (traveling more than I expected) but a big part of me leaving was due to the wifi performance. I'm a remote employee for a Bay Area software company and I do multiple video chats per day. I really need decent wifi performance to do my job. Video chats don't necessarily require a ton of bandwidth but it does require consistent bandwidth. I had numerous issues where my video chats would cut off. I complained numerous times and while they seemed responsive (responded to my ticket immediately, said they would "work on it", or they would suggest there's something wrong with my computer or configuration -- which there was certainly not), I never got the sense they were interested in addressing the root cause of the issue. All I asked for was some transparency as to what they were going to do to fix the internet issues and never got it. I really wanted to like WeWork. Everyone was super friendly. It really is a good community of people. When I had to travel to a city that had a WeWork space, it was great being able to use it even for a few hours. There aren't many other coworking spaces with that sort of multi-city presence. But in the end, if I can't do my job and WeWork wasn't going to take my issues seriously, it forces me to look elsewhere. I wasn't the only one with network issues. There were other folks in the space who were similarly dependent on frequent video chats and very frustrated. read more

This is kind of a hip, young scene for freelancers. Personally, I don't see myself using this space. Here are some things that I think are worth mentioning about this particular WeWork location: Location: Decent location. I think it's in a semi-centralized place to even meet with people. Space: It seems to vary from floor to floor, but I wish some rooms had a little more privacy. I get that they want to create a sense of community and nearly all walls are made with glass you can write on. At the same time, if you're doing a small presentation, anybody walking by your room can stop and watch you - so that can feel a little invasive. The furniture is kind of a rustic modern since they do have tables that look to be made of all wood. For the most part, the furniture is comfortable. Noise: This is kind of a double-edged sword. The music can really lend this ultra hip vibe and I found myself enjoying some of the music, however, if you're on a conference call, that background noise DOES get picked up whether it's someone behind/near you, or the music from the hallway. The best bet for handling a conference call is probably to be in one of the rooms with the door closed. Even so, rarely will you find this place to be quiet. Wifi: In the 3 days I was there, connected to the WeWork Guest network, only once did I experience a problem. Luckily, it wasn't during a crucial moment, but as any wifi outage/blockage can be, it was annoying for about an hour. Otherwise, I had no trouble with the speeds. Amenities: Free coffee and beer (if you're over 21). On the 22nd floor, there are bowls of candy and if you want to be healthy, they have bananas in the breakroom. I like that besides the choice of filtered water, there's also the fruit-infused water. It's refreshing. Bathrooms: They're clean for the most part. I thought I was seeing things when I saw Bose speakers in the ceiling of each stall. Fancy, WeWork, very fancy. I also like that they had mouthwash available in the bathrooms. It comes out from a pump, but there are small disposable cups for you to use with it. For the most part, the space is kept clean as there are janitors who frequently empty the trash. It's certainly an interesting business model and I'd be curious to see what other WeWork locations, not only in NY, but also in other cities, are like. read more

I've been a guest on several occasions and have been an official user of one of the conference rooms . Great concept and amazing that Silicon Valley is discovering NYC (including Brooklyn). I would suggest that WeWorks makes an effort to invite real NYC residents to become members and not just focus on the young transient tech world. If i'm ever in need of a shared workspace WeWorks would be high on my list. read more

There are a number of floors in the place when each floor is designed differently. Each floor has a full coffee and tea stand. Printers and office equipment as needed. The staff at the place is very kind and nice and contributes. Every Monday at 10 am there are refreshments that the place provides (bagel or yogurt, etc.). Even in the middle of the week from time to time there are small events. The view towards the city is excellent, since the building is higher than the surroundings. Beware of the rude staff here especially Kira in the community office. Has no sense of how to communicate with clients and lacks the basic politeness. Their community manager changes with the season there is no consistency. Getting on phone with them is like winning a lottery! The premises are clean but can get very noisy at times with loud happy hours and parties . Overall not a bad shared office space if they really work on recruiting a better professional staff. read more

This would be an ideal workspace, except for the harsh approach to playing music, which impacts the experience harshly. Does the DJ who plays music believe Wyclef Jean's Hendrix is the only hip-hop music that exists, and that spinning it once a day is simply not enough? Does this DJ, in bathroom stalls and while eating lunch, crave it at a volume you'd normally use in a car alone? These questions are begged but are left unaddressed in the weekly email updates. read more

Location: Great. it's right across the street from the main Fulton Street hub. Super convenient for all. Space: Works very well for our purposes. Clean and attractive. Very impressive for visiting clients. Noise: I've found it to be very quiet for a large office. Of course there are going to be lots of people milling about, but everyone is a professional and they all keep the noise to a minimum. Wi-Fi: I only use internet for emails and web browsing, so I've never had an issue. Amenities: Free coffee, beer, and fruit-infused water. Makes it easy to take the occasional break. Bathrooms: Clean. Staff: For the most part, friendly. Sometimes you can see their patience wearing thin with members and guests. Mailroom used to be pretty disorganized, but it's getting better. Overall, way better than a tiny private office you'd find independently. Definitely worth the money. read more

I have been here for a few times for their parties and Demo Days. I really love the space and can imagine working there, particularly with their expensive furniture, and not to mention stunning views. I was looking out of the 22nd Floor and you can see the most breathtaking sunset view of the World Financial Center area with the skyscrapers right there, front and center. Other than that, I think it's a great hub that brings together start-ups, entrepreneurs and other alike-minds together for great collaborations and happenings! read more

Really nice! Big space! Good for group also. Strongly recommend space! In here, there are coffee and beer- not even this. They have full mini kitchen. If you want, there is small single space as also. Nice interior=) I want this space! read more
