I brought in my Kimber to have the main spring housing to be replaced on 3/30/22 Shortly afterwards I noticed the pin was creeping out. Went back on 4/1/22 & Jake tells me he just reversed the main spring pin. On 4/2/22 I'm at the range after shooting 30 rounds the pin starts coming out. I called him Saturday afternoon to tell him the problem was not resolved. At this point he should have said bring the gun back asap, he said he had to do some research on the issue. If I had the tools I could have done this myself. Anyway today 4/5 I took the gun to another gunsmith in west palm. He took out the main spring housing & guess what, Jake never put the plunger on the bottom end of the spring. I called him back after leaving 2 messages & told him what was missing. Sure enough he had the plunger he should have called me to let me know he forgot to install install that part. I can't believe the incompetency of the gunsmith. If I was the owner I would terminate him. Guns are dangerous & assembled with parts missing is putting someone's life in jeopardy. This is inexcusable. No apology no nothing when I came back to get the plunger. I'm writing this to forewarn you NOT TO TRUST this establishment when it comes to performing any service on your firearm. I would give them Zero stars if I was able to. I hope the owner reads his reviews. read more

Wex treats its customers professionally. They have a solid selection of firearms. I'd like to see more revolvers but that's just me. Revolvers are outmoded and cannot compete with those big 15 round magazines, but I admire their simplicity. You don't have to guess whether a round is chambered, and you can just pick it up and squeeze the trigger. Easy and straightforward to make a transaction here. They also fixed a scope on one of my best deer rifles. read more

I have bought 3 pistols from them and my wife ordered an Arsenal AK through them for me for Fathers day She knows a little about guns and they were very nice to her, helped her pick just the right item. Yes, you can save $15 if you buy sight unseen through the internet and just transfer it to you at a pawn shop Any problem and you are on your own. These guys stand behind their product and if something is not right, they will make it right even if the manufacturer does not. That is first class customer service! I just completed my training for my conceal carry permit. The instructor did a superlative job of imparting the necessary knowledge in an easy to understand manner. His special forces background certainly adds weight to his lessons & his easy going attitude makes the leaning enjoyable. The hands on training at the range was priceless & again enjoyable. The Wex guys know a lot (Class 3 Dealer) and they have slowed me down to assure that I purchase the right gun to fulfill my needs. They've even suggested that I consider some lower cost equipment. Each time and each representative at Wex focused on the same purpose: to add to my knowledge and to do their best to assure I considered many options before buying. It's evident to me that the entire store operates on Old School principle, create a customer not a "sale".
