We were really patient and understanding because we get it he runs a business and we changed a few things here and there but it took 8-9 weeks to redo our very small bathroom. I can't remember the amount of times Jesse would say they would be here tomorrow and they wouldn't show up for a day even two with zero communication. We would have to reach out and ask when they're coming. Despite the communication and time it took to finish this project because again, they would skip days we paid them 10k(~70% of the total) before they finished. Why? They were asking for payment even though it wasn't complete. For some reason I felt bad it was taking so long and I know he had to pay his guys, but that's not really a me problem. I was 9 months pregnant and about to give birth we kept telling them we really need them to finish up(please actually be here to finish and/or bring more than 1 guy). They were unable to finish and I was home with a newborn and toddler while they finished it up. As soon as they finished they wanted to do the walk through asap of course to get the final payment. They didn't have the time to wait for my husband to do it- again I had just gave birth. So, I had to do the walkthrough without my husband and paid him. After my haze though I realized how terrible of a job they did with the tile; leaving chips, grout unevenness and less than 2 years later grout is falling out of in some places. For some reason they used 2 pieces on the door frame despite us having lots of framing material laying around. When I reached out a few months later to request he fix the severe grout issue he sent 2 highschool looking kids with a tiny $5 looking tool from home depot they just bought and within a couple hours they were gone. It looks worse than before. He never followed up after that. They started August 7th and the walkthrough was Oct 4th. We still need to get it fixed by someone else.

The team was initially quick to respond and came out to review the scope of our project and asked good questions to understand our goals and scope of the work. They appeared to have good ideas and options to get creative with solutions for what we wanted to achieve with the project. After the first meeting we didn't hear back on a quote, and after following up they said they needed more details to prepare a proper quote so we scheduled more time. They missed the second appointment so we rescheduled and got them back through for a second look. After walking them through the project scope again and answering some new follow up questions we were optimistic we'd be able to move to the next phase. We weren't hearing back from them so after a couple weeks, we followed up with their office and they let us know that they're still working on a quote and would have it by end of day. One week later still no quote. Finally I got a call from Eagle pride telling me that they've decided they don't wanna work on our project citing that they aren't able to get one of their subcontractors available to quote a key part of the project. Throughout the process, we've been flexible on timelines, patient throughout the missed appointments and poor communication. We understand that contractors are busy and they can't always bid on a project, but it would have been nice to know that before waiting 6 weeks. We can't speak to the quality of the work that Eagle pride does, but l see these missed appointments, the slow communication, and abandoning the project entirely after dragging us along as red flags. I hope others have an easier time working with them, but felt compelled to share my experience.

It was a small job; refinishing the kitchen/family room floors, installing new baseboards and a new electrical outlet, some demo of the fireplace mantle, and paint. After he gave me the quote, I called two of his references. Never heard back from one but the other was getting ready to hire him again for another job. The reference was really good; I asked about things like delays (there were none), fixing problems that came up (they were fixed), overall satisfaction with the job (very satisfied). I hired Decotal. They started a few days later; it seemed like I barely had time to move the furniture out of the room before they were there. They did demo first, removing the old mantle and baseboards, and then did the floors (this took several days but they were there each day). Ophir was there almost every day and continually inspecting the work. There were a few minor issues which were fixed as soon as I pointed them out. Tomas, the painter, was great! When they were done, there was some dust but not a lot. I did take all of the drawers out of the kitchen and emptied the cupboards and pantry. Not everything went back... I took the opportunity to do some spring cleaning. I really love the look of the new room; it's very updated now.
