Too many bad experiences - Food is ALWAYS slow food, not fast food. - had an instance where I paid cash and the older lady at the register said she didn't have any actual change but instead of rounding up and just giving me a dollar back she just short changed me LOL. What the BURGER This place is all kinds of horrible. After a night out with the hubby our teenage daughter who stayed behind at the hotel text to ask if we could bring her a burger. We searched while heading to the hotel and the only place in route and open was this place. When I say this place is UNPROFESSIONAL and SLOW. We walked in and the people waiting on food looked as if they were going to die or were DEAD from hunger. We approached the counter and the young lady ( I use this term very loosely because she was far from lady like) just looked at us, no Welcome can I take your order nothing just a dry stare. I had to initiate the process by asking if she was open and available to take my order. She replied with a dry and aggravated YEAH. I proceeded to order and pay. No THANKS, HAVE A GOOD NIGHT, NOTHING. At this time the LONG DRAWN out wait with a side show began. The characters on staff and patronizing this place put on a entire theatrical experience that wasn't worth our viewing pleasure and absolutely wasn't worth our time. The wait game was REAL for a order of fries and a burger for our teenager NO DRINK which could only take 52seconds to make if they made them behind the counter. Once we got called for our order (14minutes later) the order was incorrect and we had to wait again because they put things on the burger that we requested were not on the burger and our teen would not give the burger the time of day if those items touched the burger so we had to wait another 15minutes (YAY). Even charged me for the extra dressing, That I did not receive. It's the closest location to my house so I have tried to give it a chance multiple times and it has failed every single time. On top of that, staff with no hats, no gloves putting straws in customers drinks as they go out. Pretty sure that's all a health code violation. Forty Five minutes in line. There were no people inside, and only three cars in front of ours. Its been a full 25 mins from the time we ordered, and we still don't have our food. This is ridiculous. They walked out and closed the second lane as we drove up, and we can clearly see three employees and the manager (tan button down shirt) standing around and cracking jokes while they still have a line of cars through the parking lot. Plus, the quality of the food is right up there. the secrete to Qhataburger is they get the same result, ie persfectly cooked burger on a soft white bun no matter where you go. This is no exception. My first and last meal in Dallas. I have to say I was excited when I discovered there was a Whataburger practically next door to the the hotel I was staying in while in Dallas last week, however it didn't live up to the hype. In fact it didn't even come close. I was in town for 6 days and the first of our group to arrive. On top of that I was so early that the hotel's check in hadn't started yet, so I decided to have lunch here while waiting. It was about 11:30am so I walked over to check out their lunch. The establishment was about half full and both of the drive-thru's on the building were also busy. I took a quick glance at the menu and selected their Patty Melt which is basically a burger using sandwich bread instead of a bun. I filled my drink, picked a table and waited for them to bring it out. Why did I wait? Well in case you haven't been to a Whataburger they cook all orders fresh, so you have to wait for it. After a short wait my Patty Melt arrived. It was uh... small and kinda smushed. The person who brought it out asked if I needed anything else and I asked for some Mustard. She said she'd be right back and I never saw her again. I ate the meal and went back to the hotel. There was nothing memorable about it. Definitely underwhelming. On our last night in town we made a late night trip to Whataburger on our way back to the hotel. It was about 1:30 in the morning when we arrived. BTW this location is open 24/7. This time around I ordered the special burger they were promoting called the Chop House Cheddar burger which according to their menu is "Two 100% pure American beef patties, crispy bacon, grilled onions and shredded cheddar cheese. All topped by our very own Creamy Steak Sauce." We took our meals and went back to the hotel to eat. When I went dress my burger I discovered I what received was a single patty burger with cheddar and one strip of bacon. No onions or steak sauce. At least I got my mustard this time. So all in all, meh... I'm willing to believe this problem was the location and not the business itself. I'd say to avoid this location and choose another one if you're looking to sate your Whatabuger desires. read more

Currently waiting. Which isn't new for this location, I've waited 20+ minutes in line when all I wanted was the 3 piece chicken strips. I ordered 7 minutes ago and they asked me to pull forward because they are "'making my food fresh" yet 3 cars have from left behind me. I ordered a grilled sandwich and one crispy....forgot until the end of my order (still at the speaker) to specify I wanted one as a meal and whoever I was speaking with had an immediate attitude change. Just got home with my order: I explicitly asked for two things. BOTH to have pickles and one with no sauce. I got one with just chicken and cheese(no veggies, sauce or pickles) and one with the chicken, the veggies, sauce and no pickles. Both were crispy. The only positive of this experience is that whoever the girl at the window/brought out my food was is so super sweet. Or at least had the ability to give some sort of customer service. So sad the hospital is surrounded by such sad, sullen fast food restaurants with mediocre service. read more
