Truffle fries. Brussel leaves. The draft beer was good, Dan at the bar made us my fave mexican candy shots, he ddnt know what they were but he pulled thru. And man he is character, he livens the place up. The burger was 100% top tier and their fried eggs on top are a must. My only issue, the brussel leaves need some salt, just a taddle. Stop by for happy hour on a weekday, and the prices are very affordable! I got one of the house frozen margaritas, and it was pretty strong. also got the fries to share, which were crispy and salty. I had by far the best burger I have ever had in my entire life, there isn't even a close 2nd. WOW! I had their premier Cadillac Wagyu and it's literally the Cadillac of burgers. 1/2 lb Wagyu Beef, Swiss Cheese, Steakhouse Bacon, Crispy Fried Onions, Steak Sauce, Truffle Aioli, Roasted Tomato & Arugula. They make their own buns by the way, and that just adds to the deliciousness of the burger. Absolutely delicious! I paired it with their signature Parmesan Truffle fries, a perfect pairing. You know this is a special burger place to begin with because I don't remember ever being at a burger place in my life before that has a full bar. I had a beer and the waitress was so nice, for some reason she offered me a free shot of whiskey. You can't get better than that. New to the neighborhood, my gf and I have been trying out all the spots within walking distance of our place. And since we love burgers, we decided to give Hopdoddy's a try. We arrived around 7:30 on Tuesday night. I love the fact that they have an outdoor seating area which a few high tops. We decided to sit inside so that we could watch the game. Upon entering we were greeted with smiles from everyone. A nice gentleman asked if we had been there before, we told him we hadn't. He welcomed us in and offered a few suggestions. There were so many options but we narrowed it down to the Doddy Melt (with a regular bun vs rye toast), The Classic with American cheese, Truffle Brussels and Hand Cut fries. And of course, we had to sample something from the bar so we ordered a Chardonnay and an Old Fashioned. You order at the counter, choose your seat and then your food is bought out to you. Within a few minutes, our server bought over water followed by our drinks. I must say, the Old Fashioned was much better than I anticipated. Not too strong or sweet..perfect. Next, the hand cut fries and truffle Brussels. I'm a hand cut fry girl, so I loved them. They were hot, not too salty and plentiful. The Brussels..oh my! Hands down, I've never experienced a bowl of shaved Brussels in that manner and they were delish! I didn't even get a pic which tells you how good they were lol. I've been to other hopdaddy locations, so I was expecting a high bar. Unfortunately, my expectations were disappointed. First off, I was trying to do a takeout order, and I got routed to an AI. When I asked to speak to a real person, the phone rang and then hung up on me. When I called back again, I was finally able to get through. Not off to a great start. When I parked in the garage, there are signs everywhere that says restaurants and retail will validate your parking. That was not the case. I just spent $17 for less than 10 minutes of time. When I asked the Hopdoddy employees for assistant, they were completely useless and said there was nothing that could be done All set and done, I spent almost $80 for two burgers, two fries, and two lemonades. No alcohol or beers. From a value standpoint, this place just doesn't hold up. Parking is too frustrating, and by the time I figured out parking picked up the burger and made it back home, the burger and fries were cold. Sigh. read more

Food is pricey but ok. Biggest frustration is parking structure on top of the restaurant. They told us when we came in to get the code to validate before we leave. We paid, thinking the code would cancel out the charge or put it back on our card. We didn't want to get towed. When we asked for the code before leaving, they said it couldn't be used because we already paid. If your parking situation is that confusing and requires you to pay to park with a promise of validating, the staff should be better educated and communicate that to the customers so they don't lose extra money just trying to eat at your restaurant. read more

Ordered Hopdoddy on a whim last night via Uber eats. I originally wanted a burger but then decided to try their chicken strips. The chicken strips were spicy and delicious. Very juicy, not dry at all. I did ask for sauce with them but did not receive any in the bag. However, they were good dipped in the ketchup and the ranch. The parm truffle fries were pretty good. Lacked parm but the flavor was still there. fries were slightly crisp but soft on the inside which I loved. Definitely need to amp up the Parmesan though. My friend got the thunderbird sandwich minus the bacon and she said it was very good. Next time I will be trying one of the burgers to see how they compare to my usual burger spots. The restaurant remade it and when the new one came back I can only describe it as vindictively salty. Just way saltier than the initial burger was and it was still raw in the middle. The ambiance and cleanliness of this place is really subpar. Our table was filthy and we had to clear it to sit down. As was every table in here which you can see. It wasn't busy so there wasn't really a reason for this. The food was ok, it really wasn't like a top burger. The fries I could have gone without. Well, I did. I only ate a few. The burgers were tough and used sauce to cover up the actual lack of quality. The sauces ended up making the burgers really sloppy and hard to eat. Looks good in pictures but that's as far as it goes. The service was ok, our fries came out long before the burgers which was weird and it's a seat yourself kinda place. Our waitress who brought the food out was nice but also really struggling with her weight. As politely as possible when someone is breathing heavily over your food and sweating it's off putting. Overall not a bad stop, wasn't a place I'll be returning too. Maybe we arrived on a bad day. It's not like a true sit down restaurant, but they'll check on you here and there. They have a bar in the middle, and overall pretty casual. The burgers are good and juicy! However, their recent creations are a hit or miss. I love their Mother Nature burger, but doddy melt was a bit dry. Not sure if they just had an off night. The regular burgers on the other hand are always good; I never had an issue with those. My favorite is good night good cause or the magic shroom. Their fries are usually good too, but I've had soggy fries before (tho uncommon). Their shakes are still good but I remember them used to be better.
