As everyone that knows Whataburger knows, Your order is always made to order, so they are not always the fastest fast food restaurant around. Fries not fresh at all. Ordered a chicken sandwich extra whatasauce. we asked for it like three times to be sure. Got all the way home, sandwich was dry as a bone not one drop of sauce. About the second or third time i've had issues with this whataburger and we won't be back. read more

My 3rd review, from my recent trip to Dallas, was actually my first stop after I landed. I got to Dallas around 11pm. What's open at 11pm? Whataburger. Now, there has always been a big debate of which is better: In N Out or Whataburger. Being from California, I think everyone thinks I'm automatically going to vote for In N Out. But more on that later. Let's talk about Whataburger first. Before this trip, I actually had Whataburger once or twice before. Those times, I got a regular Whataburger, a patty melt, fries, etc. This time, I tried the sweet and spicy burger and the jalapeno and cheese one, as well. First, the jalapeno and cheese was good. The perfect amount of jalapenos without being too spicy. The beef patty was seasoned pretty good. Now, the sweet and spicy burger was even better. In fact, I will say that this is probably my favorite option so far. The sauce wasn't as sweet as a regular BBQ sauce (still sweet though) and it was the perfect amount of spiciness. Together with the fries and a large root beer, it was the perfect way to end a long day of work and then flying. Now, let's talk about the comparison. Is Whataburger better than In N Out? Quite simply, no. To me, I just think the comparison should be more towards Burger King. On the other hand, Whataburger blows BK out of the water. And, I actually like Burger King! Maybe it's just me being a homer, but In N Out is, for me, the very definition of comfort food (the burger, that is. Not the fries, because those suck). My burger EXPERIENCE rankings (not just the burger, but the whole meal): 1a - In N Out - Like I said, burger is phenomenal, but fries suck. The customization options are simple, but change the experience. 1b - Shake Shack - Quality is just as good as In N Out, but the fries are better. Also, can't beat the frozen custard. 2 - Five Guys - The best fries!! Also, while the burgers are great, don't sleep on the BLT. 3 - McDonalds - I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to McDonalds. The 2 cheeseburger meal is all I need. With extra pickles of course. However, the new Cheesy Bacon Jalapeno QPC is actually really good! Also, make sure to download and use the app. Their rewards add up really fast and the deals aren't too bad (BOGO breakfast sandwiches FTW). 4 - Whataburger 5 - The rest. However, plus points for any place that has a fried egg as an option. read more

Screwed again. They seem to only do it whenever I don't check my bag. No cookies and half a large onion ring... Well done. Update 3/6/19: Received an email and phone call from the General Manager apologizing for the error. I let them know I appreciate the call back and the apology. But let's be real here. Nothing is more irritating than paying for something and not getting it. It is even more irritating to drive back and have go inside to get it corrected. Nope. You just suck up the cost like someone stole it. They did offer to make it right and that is awesome compared to some places. We will take them up on that soon because my 14 year old loves Whataburger and needs a monthly fix at minimum. Dammit, I really wanted those cookies too..... read more

This place use to be amazing but since some new people took over, it's not the same anymore. My orders keep getting messed up. I ordered 2 Whataburgers but was given 2 Whataburger Jr.'s. One time I ordered fries but by the time I brought it back to the office I realized there was no fries inside. Please have someone make sure the customers are getting what they ordered. read more

We used to go at least once a week to this Whataburger. NOT ANY MORE! The service is terrible! The last four times we have gone, every order was wrong! The staff is incompetent and still overcharges and gets the order wrong even when we point it out to them. The wait has been ten to twenty minutes because they forgot to turn in the order or are too busy playing grab as$. I used to love going here. NEVER AGAIN! read more

We went for Sunday breakfast. Must have been shorthanded. The manager was preparing food. No one helped take our order. Another customer asked about their order and the manager said "working on it" (without ever turning around). After waiting 10 minutes at the counter for someone to take our order or at least acknowledge that we were there, we left. read more

This location messes up my order almost every time i go and they are so slow. Not to mention the lady taking my order was extremely rude and seemed as if she hated working there. and no, they were not busy. Only two cars in front of me and no one in line behind me. My main issue is that my order is hit or miss in being correct. Every week on Wednesday night, I order whataburger plain and dry, another whataburger plain, with cheese and mustard and chicken straps with toast and gravy, each item with fries. I always get 3 orders of fries, that is never messed up. The plain and dry burger, sometimes comes with cheese, I request no cheese! The other burger, I request cheese and mustard, no veggies. It's always wrong! The strips never come with gravy, sometimes the toast is there, most times, no toast or it is over toasted!!​ It is very dark. It would be nice if they actually read these reviews and improved. The people working are courteous and professional. I don't check my order until I get home, it's too late to do anything about it and if it's wrong before you drive off, add another 30 minutes to have them corrected. The long waits are not new I always expect a lil wait but today was ridiculous. After watching 6 cars behind me get their food while I was told to pull up . 25 mins go by and someone came out to see my receipt to return 5 mins later with no apology or reasoning why I was left out there . Where the Orange and White were a beacon that brought me back home to Texas, now I run from those colors. Food has gone down hill, service is spotty, and now mold is an extra topping to your drink menu. Yes, black mold all over the drinking station. This one and the one in Sachse. Every time we come here they can never get our order right. We stopped by tonight and both got burgers that come standard with cheese but they failed to put any on... Not to mention that we waited in line for 30 minutes which is not uncommon at this location. You would think they would get your order right after taking their time but no. I live right next to this awesomeness hamburger joint. I always go here. First off, expect to wait 15 minutes. They make everything fresh including the fries. Just wait longer. Its coming, there. This may look fast food but its not, its great Texas food at heart. 2nd- customization of your order. I put extra onions and A1 sauce on my double. The drinks are pricey but the cups are thick styrofoam and insulates your drink longer and colder. read more
