I have to start by saying I'm sad I didn't get a pic of the food, bc I was so hungry, I devoured it so fast!! I was greeted immediately as I entered the location, as I perused the menu, I had a few questions which were quickly answered and my ordered was quickly placed. I was asked my name for the order, and told it would be brought to me. As I sat down, I watched and heard how the staff all worked together, and they work extremely well together, I believe it was the manager on duty that was working the front register. He was amazing with every person that came through the door, seemed to even know some regulars. Before I knew it, my ordered was being placed in front of me, hot and fresh, smelling amazing!! I ordered the kids meal bc I just wanted a small snack. Came with two chicken tenders, fries and a biscuit, and got a side of gravy. Everything was so good! Very well seasoned, the chicken was fresh out the fryer, bc it was super hot, and crunchy and juicy! It was sooo good, and the gravy is a good country gravy, not too salty, and just right. The fries seasoned well and the biscuit nice and fluffy on the inside! This was a great visit, I've only had bojangles once before, many many years ago. Service? What service... such a missed opportunity! ZERO welcome.... We silently ordered... the cashier has zero personality, more robotic than not... was she new? Did she care? We had her repeat whatever she said (twice), but we still had no idea what she said! The employee asked my husband, "What sauce?" he ordered Bo-sauce & Honey mustard Quickly served our order; there were no other customers in the restaurant. The tables were clean, so the seats were "plenty'. Chicken was great, light, and crispy. The fries fell short, they were cold and not even a real order.... it was more like a 1/2 order. Then, I took a peek at the receipt... WHAT? They charged us .49 cents for the 2nd sauce (no mention of it at all!), such a lost opportunity to build customer loyalty. I was very disappointed with my experience. My order was incomplete because the sauces I paid for were missing. While mistakes happen, what was most disappointing was how the situation was handled. When I returned to the restaurant, I was told it was "just" sauce, even though I had paid for it. Instead of feeling like my concerns mattered, I felt dismissed. To make matters worse, after driving back, I was given the wrong sauce, and the restaurant was also out of honey for the biscuits. This was my second time using the drive-thru, so there may be an opportunity to improve order accuracy before customers leave. I've been a frequent customer, but because of the poor customer service and the way this issue was handled, this visit will likely be my last. Kirby Dolliole is the franchisee owner from New Orleans and greets you with a smile and hardy welcome. The man knows chicken and dirty rice . He practices random acts of kindness and welcomes many diners by name. Very impressive. His staff are well trained and focused on Good food and service. The menu is simple yet rich with combinations. The chicken biscuit and sandwich were delicious. Every side was a compliment to the core chicken meal. The southern gravy went well with the biscuits. The sweet tea was a highlight. Took a trip to Wylie to try Bojangles for the first time. Not too impressed. Their chicken was okay but nothing special and may be a bit spicy for kids. Biscuits were nothing like buttery soft made from scratch...wouldn't be surprised if pre-made. The girl kept quoting our order wrong. Additionally, nowhere does it say fixins are an additional $0.39, despite the overhead menu indicating kids meals include biscuits, fixin, and drink. Even the regular meals include fixins or fries, and NO mention of additional $0.39 charge for fixins. So we were charged extra 3x for fixins, and thus minus a star. Better chicken around Dallas or chains; not wasting 2+ gallons of gas again. read more

Everything is great we love bojangles better than canes . Pretty cheap regrading you get a pretty decent size side and a drink . The staff just makes it so much better they are so sweet . I have heard a lot of hype about bojangles when they came to Dallas and they opened one really close to me. I ordered their chicken sandwich and got the peach honey pepper sauce. I ordered to go so my order was available in a bag by the time I got there. The sandwich looked decently good but the taste didn't correlate. The chicken sandwich was pretty dry. The batter was thick as well. There was some mayo in it but it didn't contribute much to the sandwich. I tried the peach honey pepper sauce but it wasn't enough to save it. I stopped in randomly on Friday to check it out having I never been to Bojangles. I had other food on my mind at the time. I was talking to a gentleman named Rodger who I believe was the manager and he let me sample one of the smaller chicken strips. It was delicious and a good size and the spices were delicious. Shiit tasting. The batter was powdery. Literally I tasted powder and chalky. The tenders (only tenders and not actually chicken pieces) were not tenders. My first time ever at a Bojangles. Considering it was a weekend afternoon and this location had just opened up recently I thought it might be busy. It wasn't. Maybe I should have taken that as a sign. The dining area is small, but was pretty clean so I appreciate that. The service was good, so that's also a plus. But the food ... Well, I ordered a 4 piece chicken tender meal. It came with a biscuit, fries and a medium drink, and after tax was over $12.00. I'm not much of a biscuit person but this one was ok. There wasn't any butter that came along with my meal box, nor did I see any at the drink/eating utensil station. No knives to be seen there either, so I guess you just eat the biscuit as is (which I did) or have to ask for butter and a knife at the counter. Oh well, no big deal. The fries were seasoned with seasoned salt, but with about twice as much as needed. I didn't finish them they were so salty. The chicken ended up being what I hoped it wouldn't be ... wayyyyyy too much batter. Seemed like a 4 piece batter meal with small bits of chicken in it. I ended up picking most of the batter off and eating it that way. What little chicken that I could find inside was ok, fairly moist and of decent quality. But sheesh, this had about 5 times the amount of batter that it needed. Do some people actually like their chicken this way? I sure don't. Like I said, it felt more like a 4 piece batter meal. 3/10/24: Stopped by this new location to pick up dinner. I placed the order with Brandon, and I felt that he was doing a great job. Got my food, drove home, and discovered that he had forgotten my 2 Bo-Berry Biscuits. I ended up driving back, the doors were closed, but there were customers leaving. I told Brandon and a female staff worker what happened, and she apologized and made it right. I've been to this location a couple of times before and didn't have any issues. A few years ago, my job took me to Durham, NC, for a few days to a week every month. I'm southern, so biscuits and fried chicken are fundamental elements of my culinary territory. I would have Bo's biscuits for breakfast at least once every visit and sometimes a fried chicken dinner, too. I have a history of three dozen or more visits to the original North Carolina format stores with a full menu. My familiarity with the source is why the two stars. I waited a few weeks to try one, it's 30 miles to Wylie I'll sum up my whole visit in a simple statement: Texas does not yet have any real Bojangles. You have a fifth of the full menu, and even the iced tea tastes different. I wonder if franchising has allowed this lower-function type of store to rapidly expand the chain, as this looks to be a lower-cost setup than the older Durham stores. This will prove to be a mistake. Sorry, but the Texas version is not up to par. read more

The gravy was delicious and the biscuits was soft. I'd say better than Braum's. The chicken tenders better than Raising Cane's. The Tea was a a little strong for my liking. It was sweet. Chicken was very juicy and flavorful!! The Mac n cheese was alright the portion was smaller than expected. Fries had a good seasoning, and the biscuit was delicious. Fluffy on the inside but crunchy on the outside, and not dry! Also costumer service was 10/10!! William took our order and made us laugh lol!! DECEIT at this location: $0.39 upcharge for ordering a FIXIN with your tenders even though menu board says a FIXIN comes with the meal!! Even the employees recognize this, but have been directed by mgmt to charge this. Tenders only, no chicken by the piece (breast, wing thigh, leg). Chicken had good flavor in the coating, good crunch, tenders were sizeable compared to Cane's. Cole slaw was tasty without being too sweet. The peach-honey-pepper sauce is pretty good, too. Breakfast until 2pm is a plus! So tried Bojangles for the first time today. Really didn't know anything about it except what I saw online. Get there and they have like half the menu that's posted online. That's ok, they just opened and we prefer chicken strips anyway. Ordered 12 strips family meal and 2 peach cobbler. Total $43.00. That's a bit steep in my opinion Chicken: way spicy. Couldn't feed it to the kids and nowhere on their menu does it mention that it's spicy. They need to warn people. Mac and cheese and coleslaw: was good Biscuits: fresh but why do they have salt on top? Cobbler: they should be ashamed of themselves calling this like grandma made. No self respecting grandma would place a dab of canned peach pie filling on top of a cold dry biscuit and call it cobbler. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was not busy. I'm originally from NC so when I heard there was a Bojangles opening up 20 mins away, I was really excited. However, a lot of the menu items I was used to ordering were not on the menu here. I usually get the chicken supremes, but they only serve tenders here. So i ordered those instead with a buffalo sauce and fries. The fries were good, biscuit was a little more golden than I'm used to, and the tenders were juicy and hot. The employees here are very friendly, and drive thru was faster than back home. Overall, I'm glad I tried it. I will most likely be coming back when I want a little taste of home. read more
