Then, a woman who I assume was the manager proceeded to chew them out and threatened to write them up. How awful that these workers are treated like this. Beware: If your order a mobile order, they will not hand it to you through the drive-thru. No matter what. My mom wasn't physically able to go inside and the girl at the window wouldn't hand the bag to my mom, even though it was paid for. (Yet they walk outside to your car for a curbside order?) I don't see why this prepaid mobile order should be treated any differently than any other drive-thru order. It should be a quick and painless transaction. They also will not refund you at the window or over the phone. My mom left upset with no food, so my dad spoke to 2 managers over the phone, Hayden and Maria, and neither one of them would give us a refund for the order we didn't receive. They were going to make us drive up there and come inside FOR A REFUND. (in 2023 y'all ) As a former Chick-fil-A manager, I see no reason as to why they didn't make an exception to their precious rules. I do love me some Cane's. I usually order the sandwich combo and it never disappoints. Love the sauce, which they put plenty on for the sandwich. I do prefer to eat in the restaurant than get food through the drive-thru. The reason being is that I feel you get WAY less French fries in the drive-thru than you get In the restaurant. Their tea good and it's also a good idea to eat there for free refills. I have tried the lemonade in the past, it's good, but it is extra cost with no free refills. This was the first time I've ever been to this chain. When you specialize in chicken tenders, you better do them well. You know what, they were really good! The menu doesn't have much on it, but I suppose there's not a lot to be creative with. The combos come with tenders, crinkle fries, coleslaw, and a big piece of toast. I really liked the chicken. It had nice flavor, was very moist, and I didn't taste any grease. Well done. The coleslaw was pretty bland. With that said, I have yet to base my culinary destination on freakin coleslaw. Always hot and fresh and the Cane's sauce is SO good. Not a big coleslaw fan, but theirs is pretty good. I sub for extra toast sometimes. Also, once I had my dog with me in the drive thru and they offered dog treats for her. Who else would do that?!?! Don't compare it to Chik-Fil-A, both are great and yummy for different reasons but nothing alike. Only down fall is sometimes you have to wait a bit during slower times because they are "cooking to order". I don't mind tho. Worth it! Cleanest restroom in Rowlett and there's always a good song on. The young staff are friendly, don't usually find the sullen teenager here like other fast food places. My go to for a quick family dinner. read more

I stopped here because I remembered I had a free box combo on my caniac card (and I was ravenous because I worked through lunch). Rhe place did not have many customers. The staff was nice and friendly. I places my order and sat down. I noticed an older couple received their food first (but I was okay with it). Right after their food was dropped off, the clerk came over and asked if I received my order and my response was no. He said he would check on mine. He came back over with my order with an upgrade for the inconvenience. I thanked him. Honestly, I only waited for about 5 minutes. The food was hot and the presentation was awesome (especially the extra cane sauce)! The tenders are always juicy and right on time. I was full after 2 tenders and still had 4 tenders left along with fries and a cole slaw. The restaurant was clean. I enjoy sitting in the restaurant when there are not as many customers. I'd never been to a Cane's, but my niece asked for it for her birthday lunch. So in walked 10 of us. They were very accommodating, helped us organize a group of tables to push together, and were patient as we ordered in a rambling manner. Their menu is limited, but the chicken was great! The manager heard us singing happy birthday to my niece and brought something over for her. Overall, the manager was very helpful and warm, and I always like seeing people in management positions helping clean. And it was VERY clean. Excellent, warm and friendly staff as well. I have seen these a lot in TX since I moved here. I thought it was a burger place, so I stopped in. To my surprise it is all chicken strips. The chicken is great tasting, and not too hard or fatty. I was very surprised at two things. 1. They did not have any other dipping sauces for the chicken 2. The Kanes sauce is what I have always had in Arizona as fry sauce. I guess they think it should be for chicken here. I used it for both, but ran out quickly. The Texas toast tasted like toasted sweet bread. I was really hoping for normal Texas toast. The frys were good, and they had plenty of choices to drink. End result? If they started having more dipping sauces, and used the Kane's sauce for frys, their business would triple. read more
