Tried Whataburger for the first time and it was a solid experience. The staff at this location were unbelievably friendly and made everything feel really welcoming, which honestly stood out the most. The drinks are huge, which is always a plus, and all of the sides were fresh and tasty. I got the patty melt. It was good, but nothing mind-blowing. During my recent visit to Whataburger, I encountered a less than satisfactory experience. The pricing of the hamburger seemed excessive in relation to its quality. Despite repeating "I wanted the cheeseburger that was on your sign, the "Whataburger bacon cheeseburger $5 deal," special!!!!!, it appeared that my requests were not properly acknowledged. $13.29 was the total when I asked the gentleman working the drive-through register about the price difference; he seemed unaware of the special!! It's ON YOUR SIGNS!!!! Furthermore, it is essential that customers are provided with napkins and ketchup & salt for their fries without having to request them, which I had to ask!!!! Of course, when I got to the place where I was going to attempt to eat that garbage, he gave me sugar instead of salt. Truly, that was OK because my fries were old, cold, stale, and tasted like old grease; DON'T get started on how disgusting The cheeseburger tasted like the bacon was old and rubbery. The hamburger patty looked like it belonged on possibly a kids' hamburger; it barely covered the bun, both were unacceptable for human consumption, further contributing to my disappointment. In conclusion, my visit did not meet my expectations of an edible meal. furthermore, I did leave a review from your receipt. This was the worst Whataburger location I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. The staff is unfriendly & rude. You can't understand what they're saying because their first language is mumble. If you don't have a customer service personality maybe don't work in customer service. ‍ The food came out incorrect & cold. I just came through and got the simplest thing on the menu. #7 jr meal, sweet tea. 2 things about this trip: 1. I didn't get my fries. The only thing in the bag was a burger. 2. I didn't get sweet tea. I got unsweet tea with a couple of packs of sugar in the bottom. The sugar only dissolves if the tea is hot. Any restaurant worker or southerner should know this. Rather than letting me leave empty-handed, they quickly threw together some food and ran it out to me just as we left. That act of kindness made my entire day. I would give this location zero stars if it was an option. Seriously. Supposedly they don't have a manager and whomever was "in charge" during our visit was rude and didn't care a bit about how jacked up everything was. One thing that didn't help was the use of AirPods by all the front staff. If you can't hear me and do your job correctly the first time, you might want to find alternate employment. Not only were our orders a mess but other ppl in the restaurant were having similar issues. The burgers were mad overcooked, cold enough to not melt the cheese AT ALL. The onion rings were burnt. None of our sandwiches came out the way they were ordered and when we attempted to have them fixed we were met with attitudes of inconvenience and they STILL came out wrong! If the staff and management don't care that's cool for them but we won't be back and we will ward off others as well. Needless to say, I was practically alone in the dining room. 42 minutes later I got my meal in a bag to go.
