On our way back to DFW, we stopped for a quick bite. This is, likely, the worst Whataburger based on service and quality I've ever been to. There were only 2 cars in front of us, and yet I know we were in line at least 20 minutes (because I started timing it after a few minutes). They parked the first car. They second sat at the window for over ten minutes before they took their money. When we got to the window (at about 17 minutes of tracked time), our money was taken immediately. We were able to watch one young lady do nothing but wipe the same tray over and over. The young lady helping us was polite enough, but someone else came up & started to tell us to park. I would have simply demanded my money back then - which is what I should have done. I believe our fries & onion rings were cooked when we first placed our order because they came to us cold & rubbery. As long as we had to wait, you'd think our burgers would have been hot. They were barely warm & they were soaked in grease. Finally, and I think I speak for every drive thru patron everywhere, please give my drinks up front - not AFTER I get my food. This location is horrible. I have waited 15 minutes fir a drive they order. Nothing special, regular order. They even moved me to a parking spot to wait so people behind me couple go by. First time stopping at this location and everyone was very attentive and food came out fast. The older gentleman working the register was very kind. It's kind of hard to give a five star review to ANY Whataburger out there because, well, it's a WHATABURGER. (Can you tell that I'm not just a huge fan of fast food chains?) Still, I feel the need to give this place five stars given the hammering it's taken over its (per everyone I've listened to) outrageously slow drive-through service. I can't speak to that, as we went in to eat. (We never do drive-throughs.) The staff was friendly and eager to serve us, and the venue itself was clean and well lighted. (I am a stickler for clean floors, immaculate restrooms, and pristine tables.) I dunno -- maybe the drive-through here IS ridiculously slow. Could be. My order came very fast and Amber even brought out a tray of condiments to choose from. I had the pleasure of speaking with Rona (the manager) and she could not have been nicer. Ms Destiny working the drive thru is one of the rudest people I have came across in a long time and when you call and speak to a manager about it guess what - you find out who must be training her. I live in California but I come out to Texas all the time. I have loved Whataburger for years now and have always told my girlfriend if she ever went to Texas with me we must get a Whataburger!! Well this past weekend she went with me to Dallas then we drove to Shreveport, Louisiana. We stopped at the Whataburger in Longview, Texas. It was the single worst fast food experience I have ever had in my 53 years. We pulled up to the drive-thru and the Whataburger employee told us to give her a couple of minutes. After 5 minutes I asked if I could order, and she told me just a few more minutes. After another 3 minutes she came back. We ordered our food, and she did a good job on this. We then waited in line for another 5 minutes. We pulled up, paid, and received our drinks. My girlfriend's Sprite was just carbonated water because it ran out of syrup. We told her and she gave her a Dr. Pepper. Now the fun begins. We waited another 7-8 minutes, and she comes back to us and asks to see our receipt to see what we ordered. We showed her and she went and checked with the cooks. After another 5 minutes she tells us to pull forward into a parking area and she will bring our food out to us. We sat there for another 10 minutes. I was stunned. We were finally given our food after 40 minutes after we pulled into the restaurant parking lot. To make it even more fun my girlfriend's burger was missing the bacon that we paid extra for. I was so bummed out, I have bragged about your company for years!! read more

Wanted to give a shout out to the lunchtime crew at this location. I placed an order for take out through the app. I get there and my order is ready. I check inside the bags, just had it to make sure my order is correct, and I notice what looks like 2 tacos instead of a burger. (I had ordered 2 burgers, 1 fry and 1 drink). I bring this to the attention of the staff, and they proceed to make me another. As typical of Whataburger's, they are busy at lunch, hence why I placed my order ahead of time. It seemed to be taking a while, so I ask about the progress, they are making it (of course it was special order/ it's Whataburger!). So I get my order, and it looks like the same set up, 2 tacos. The lady who gave me the food, said no, that's your 2 half's of one burger! ‍. I always ask for it to be cut in half, never having it served that way. I apologized for my mistake and thanked them for accommodating me. Just wanted to publicly thank the entire crew there for being so nice and understanding, for what ultimately was my mistake. Horrible. We waited for about 20 minutes to even get to the drive thru window. I paid and then waited for another 20 minutes before they told me to pull forward. After waiting ANOTHER 10 minutes someone brought out our food and wasn't going to tell me what the problem was until I asked twice. It was awful. Waited 30 mins to get our food and our burgers were cold. The cashier was trying to keep it together but the cooks were moving very slowly and kept messing up orders. At least 3 people came in from the drive through with wrong orders and at least 2 people requested money back. We were driving through on an 8.5 hr drive and had this not been the last place for food before a 3 hour stint we would've asked for our money back and left. Never coming again. read more
