It appears to be family run and not only we we taken care of right away, everyone who Came through the door was attended to pretty mu chi immediately! We did have to wait for of documents to print out but the shop had many interesting hand crafted items from a variety of local vendors. They also have P.O. Boxes and packing and shipping services! Highly recommend and I will definitely come back here before going into Bellingham for similar services!

I began to wonder if I would ever be able to pick up my orders or would they be lost forever ... maybe even end up on one of those 'unclaimed items' auctions you see on TV!? 'Hey that's my 85" TV about to be sold off!' LOL. Land crossings at the border finally reopened last week. Yahoooooo!!! Cheesecake Factory - I missed you soooooo much! You see its cheaper for Canadians to set up mailboxes just across the border & receive parcels this way as a means of avoiding paying high duty! Items going through a customs inspection are charged a dreaded 'customs fee' & it ain't cheap! I am still required to declare everything I bring back to Canada to the border agents - when driving back up. But the point being - it's way cheaper this way & I save quite a bit in duty & fees! We're continuing to keep free storage until the border opens back up." A sign of just how much the backup of parcels was occurring! Look at the ports of most waterfront cities today - major backlog of shipping containers stuck on ships unable to dock because of labour issues brought on by the pandemic. Sorry but you might not get your Christmas present from Santa this year. I'm so ever grateful to MBI, that all my orders were well taken care of. I picked up everything I ordered over the last 20 months with no issues! Keep in mind that with each coming month a new Coronavirus variant is being discovered - which could mean even more border restrictions!!! Not only did Jamie try her best to accommodate my incredibly tight timeframe, but she also offered (she absolutely didn't have to!) to drop off the mail at Fedex for me using her own address - so the mail would be considered domestic (instead of international from Vancouver), faster and cheaper. We met on a Saturday morning near the border (she drove to Blaine, which is 20 miles closer to me, to meet). Had Starbucks together - other than getting the work down flawlessly, we also had a great conversation. She's very easygoing, sweet, and professional, and on my drive back home I was thinking to myself, "I need to give this wonderful woman a 5 star review", which is rare because I almost leave exclusively negative reviews on Yelp.
