When we first walked in, I feel like I was getting some weird looks because of my Boston Red Sox baseball cap. she and I played some pool and then the karaoke was getting going so we went by the dance floor and watched all of the amazing people that did karaoke that night every single one of them were so good. We went on the night the Longhorns came back and beat Ohio State. We had such a great time. We danced a little bit and that was amazing. We would definitely return to this place. It is so cool. The karaoke people felt like a little family and that may the experience that much better for us. I've seen people complain about the parking, but we would gladly park a mile away just to go back to this place.

Haven't been there in three years and still remembers my drinking habits. Am I to predictable? Yeah probably. Still that proper dive, you'll see quite a few regulars that just come in to chill and hang out on the weekdays, and the weekends are always a celebration! Also one of the few places where you get everyone from all walks of life, from young and old. You'll always leave with a decent conversation or connection every time I've visited . Common tradition is to sign a dollar bill and staple it to the wall.

When you drive up it kind of looks like a dive, a square, cement building with no windows. Parking in the front and back. I went to see a friend's band play and they sounded incredible there! I loved Martini Ranch's dart boards (had at least 5, plastic tip, .50 per person for Cricket which is a good deal...) Another FUN fact - there's a photo booth at the place! I think that makes it fun for everyone and worth the visit. I went on a Saturday night and it was not packed at all...however I hear that this is uncommon because the last time the band played there it was super packed! Drinks are cheap, bough a large draft dos equis, red bull and vodka, vodka tonic, and 2 bud lights for $16. It gets smokey fast. And I think they had a crockpot on the side for hot dogs w/ all the trimmings...but I didn't investigate. *If you're going south on West from 410, it'll come up quickly on your left... Not to say all Vegas bars rock, but for the most part the non-chain bars here in SA seem to be lacking and very Dive-y. However, I guess on that note they also do not get money to improve from poker machines like most bars in Las Vegas have. This bar in particular was small, it had 2 pool tables and I could tell regulars were hanging out as it seemed everyone was chatting with each other. I must say if I was living here I would probably be a regular there to as from the other places I have been to, the crowd was friendly as was the staff. The bartender was cool and did something I have never seen before when I ordered a Dos Equis he salted the ridge of the pint glass. I must say I quite liked it. I would say if you are in the area then try it, if you are across town, it is probably no different from any other bar you have around your neck of the woods. I will still give this a 3 Star rating for it is what it is where it is and decent for that. If this bar was in Las Vegas, I'd have to give it a 2 Star rating.

Next door is a tattoo parlor that I'm pretty sure keeps the same hours as the bar. Inside, you can listen to the jukebox, which is one of those internet-connected jukeboxes where you can charge up your credit card. You can also play some games. The bar is super loud, and all the lighting comes from neon signs and gadgets on the wall, and not normal lights. The bartender wasn't quite the friendliest. He was quick about getting us our cheap drinks, since there wasn't a big crowd, we didn't have to wait. The restrooms here weren't too clean. It seems like mostly a local crowd here. If you get thrown out, there's Whiskey's next door.
