It started out okay... and went down hill from there. Everyone is here to watch the Football game and then some guys are allowed to come in and one TV turn on a baseball game so loud that we had to move to the other end of the bar... and they weren't even watching! They were sitting at the table talking! Anyway, we moved and we were happy but now it's halftime... and I don't have a drink... 15 minutes later, no drink... 30 minutes later... nothing. 45 minutes later... I'm finally brought a check and walked away ... and I'm wondering why.... Now , understand, I won a bottle of wine ... but I can't drink it because I have nothing to open with! Thankfully, another patron left and left half a pitcher of beer for me or I would have been So Thirsty EVERY time I come here ( about once a year now) I swear I'll never come back... I was a regular for about 10 yrs. I wrote this a few months ago... thought I had posted it. I still think it's worth posting because I haven't been back and I'm still not planning to. read more

This place didn't have a big sign to show where it was, but it did have those neon lights that showed the beer logos. The bar wasn't that big and there were a handful of people already there drinking. They had two pool tables in the front, a few video games in the back, and a bunch of TVs. There was only one girl working behind the bar but that was fine. Good place to watch sports since there were numerous TVs with a couple different games going on. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years. A local bar with great service and great food. Today we just stopped in for lunch, and as usual the food was wonderful. They serve more than typical "bar food". Of course they have your fried choices like mozzarella sticks and fried pickles, but they also have an array of sandwiches, pizza, burgers, amd some of the best wings in town. At What's on Tap II (Wing's Express) when I went to pick up a Grubhub order for a customer. I was greeted by a very rude and what seemed to be an intoxicated manager named Bob. Just to clarify I've picked up orders probably about five or more times from this restaurant, usually a good experience, but this manager wanted to try to make me feel dumb by asking me to read the "Grubhub sign" that says pick up orders here. In the past most of the time the lady on duty has usually had me pickup the order from the bar and sometimes the cook will hand me the order from his kitchen window. This time the drunk manager Bob wanted to seem smart and imply that I was dumb because he said I couldn't read the sign of where to pickup the order. Also, I was wearing a mask as I always do when I enter and pickup a Grubhub/DoorDash order in a restaurant. The manager Bob, the cook preparing orders and breathing right over them, and every employee in the whole restaurant/bar was NOT wearing a mask AT ALL. After I calmly told Bob there was no reason to be rude to me he then proceeded to try to provoke a fight. Bob smelled and acted very intoxicated, while he was supposedly the manager on duty. I informed Grubhub of the issues with this restaurant and they assured me I would not have to take orders from this restaurant again. I informed the Grubhub customer as well so she was aware her food was breathed on by Bob and the cook. So if you want some food from What's On Tap II (Wing's Express) in Bossier City, LA where they are so very rude and breathe all over your food go ahead... After I left, I called this restaurant and asked Bob for his owner/operators name and number and he refused and hung up on me while he was still slurring his words on the phone. I will be contacting the city, parish and state. To reach out to the health officials about the employees preparing food with no mask on and the manager seeming to be drunk on duty. Pretty sure you cannot work at a bar being drunk. read more

$3 Guinness every day 11 AM to 7 PM....after 7 PM it goes up to $3.75....scandalous in its cheapness of price!! Enjoyed libations here a coupla times...most recently on 1/4/13....that's where the 1st paragraph comes from!!! Best price for Guinness on tap that I've found in Shrevport/Bossier and I love me some Guinness!!! If they had Harp or Smithwick on tap this would be a friggin' 5 star review....cause the only thing I love better than Guinness is a Half & Half or a Blacksmith...well, there's a sh*tload of things I love better than Guinness but if we limit it to Beer on Tap then I stand by my statement!!! Kind ofa long narrow bar, 2 pool tables when you come in the door, long bar on your left, some 6 or so pub tables against the wall as you walk the chute to the back...the back opens up and there's another 5 or so tables...about 10-12 flat screens scattered around the bar...pretty much anywhere you sit you're gonna be facing a TV Probably 10-15 beers on tap but honestly I quit looking and counting when I found the Guinness handle...they also have a full bar of spirits if you prefer a mixer... They have a kitchen and a sign proclaiming "Best Burger in Town" but I can't speak to that, never eaten here but there were some people sitting at the bar enjoying some wings and they appeared to be enjoying them... The bartenders here are all a lot of fun. The regulars are interesting to say the least. They have a good pool table with nice felt. Golden tee in the back alongside shuffleboard. Is just a pretty laid back place with sports on TV and they stay open until two. Nothing good happens after two anyway so that's perfect. Come on in and have a good time. read more

I love this place! This is where me and my girls go to throw em back. The barkeep is so friendly at this bar . This is the place to go on a Thursday night they have the best drink specials. I've never met anyone in a bad mood at this bar. I can't wait to go back to this bar. My wife and I have been loyal customers for years, love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. The food is always good with great prices, and the local beers on draft is nice as well. The bartenders are the most impressive, one in particular... Brittany... Is the one we enjoy seeing the most when we go in. She is always outgoing, friendly and professional, she even remembers my favorite beer and drinks without me having to order! If that's not customer service I don't know what is, it shOws that her, and the other staff, really enjoy their job and take it seriously. What's on Tap 2 definitely needs to expand the selection of beers on tap (i.e. brews from Abita, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada at least). They should also strongly consider having a waiter or waitress so customers sitting at tables don't have to go to the bar to order another drink or food. Hint - focus on customer service. Overall not a horrible sports bar, but needs improvement. read more
