Waitress did really well, making sure our drinks and everything was in order. Definitely deserved the forced 18% gratuity. Only good thing out of the entire meal. First I'll say, the drinks tasted off and did not taste like the drink we ordered. Second, the queso itself was not bad but I've had much better for a third of the price. Now the chips was awful, had a stale taste and even some had stiffness. Not exactly a good look for a "highly prestige establishment." I had Caesar salad and it was also not the very best. One bite tasted like a "stink bug" was in my salad. It tasted exactly how it smells. Very gross! The main course was subpar at best my steaks were cooked exactly as I asked but not the best I've ever eaten. I think the best meal out of all was the lobster Mac and cheese that my daughter ate. We ate at Silver Star Grille yesterday around 5PM and there wasn't a wait at all. I did notice there were tables around us that had "reserved" table signs on them already though. Spouse had a medium rare filet mignon, fries & creamy coleslaw...and I had a medium rare NY Strip, au gratin potatoes & house salad w/homemade ranch & raspberry walnut vinaigrette. Since gratuity is already added to all orders, I asked for my change and my waitress failed to bring me all of my change that was due. It wasn't that much, but it's the principal behind it. When I asked the young lady who answered the phone about it, she told me that there was a gratuity on four toppers and six toppers and above, and oh yeah, even on the two topper! We (two of us) chose to go elsewhere because as the consumer, as the person paying the bill, I deserve an opportunity on a table of five or less to determine how much I'm going to tip. read more

Food and service is always good. But accidentally noticed on my last visit that the gratuity was already added on a 2 person dining experience. This was not told to us or brought to our attention. Last Sat we walked out of Looosiana Seafood Market due to lousy service. We went straight to Silver Star Grille and had an outstanding experience. From the hostess to the GM we've never been treated better in a restaurant. Our server Millie heard our sad tale (from us and our hostess) and absolutely rescued our evening. Millie arrived at our table less than a minute after we were sat and our drinks arrived in a very few minutes. The GM stopped by to check on us a couple of times, what a kind and sincere gentleman. Our perfect meals were delivered shortly and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The food is great! I highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip. Serving portions are good, too. My only complaint is that their menu lies.
