We got a high top table near the back of the restaurant. It's a brew pub so lots of beer choices. The pizza is the best thing on the menu. I decided on the pepperoni. Beer was the blonde. The waitress was fast and knowledgeable. Pizza came out pretty quick for pizza. I order another blonde and I'm enjoying a slice. The crust is thin and pepperoni tastes like it was made in house. Love this place! Good gluten-free food selection. This was our second visit. First time got the garlic parmesan wings, large greek salad and meat jefro pizza on cauliflower crust. Everything was great! The salad is huge. We took half home. This time we got the wings, a greek side salad and the Mediterranean salad with chicken on cauliflower crust. Oh my goodness!!! The pizza is all that you could ask for. Amazing!!! Especially the crust. The wings were super yummy!! Perfectly cooked and sauced. 5 ladies doing a "girl trip" and our waitress, Kicks, did such a great job. The service is amazing and the manager is so engaged with the customers too. I tried the pizza rolls here and they were way better than I expected. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft, cheesy, flavorful filling on the inside. You can tell they're made fresh, not frozen. The seasoning was on point, and they came out hot without being greasy. They make a great appetizer or even a quick snack if you're not super hungry. Oh my goodness. The best draft beer and pizza that we have had in forever. Aaron, our server was incredible and I was pleasantly surprised at the amazingness of the pizza. Aaron explained that they adjust the ph of the water they use in the crust so that it is the closest to New York water thus making it the closest to New York pizza crust as possible. I've not eaten New York Pizza, but if it's anywhere close to this food - I'm in. If this quality of food and service were in our home town - it would be dangerous!!!. Drove over from Tyler for the day and wanted a beer after checking out some sites, nice brewery, good selection of beers and especially dark beers. We ordered two pizzas are of which are just decent size by themselves, but we figured we would have some to take home and we were glad we did, I can't remember the names one had Carnitas on it, and one had hot wings sauce with cauliflower crust both of which I questioned. But both were so so good. I would make an hour half drive from the Tyler area just to go and try these or something else on their menu again along with their beer. Highly recommend. It was non-smoking inside which I cannot say for the one Margaritaville casino that we went to that smelled like a giant ashtray. I would recommend this brewery for beer andits food. This place is so nostalgic for me every time I go. This place used to be an old fire station that my dad worked at when I was a little girl & still to this day, its firehouse feel is still there! The wings were very large and sauced just right (asked for light sauce btw). Their amber beer is very good. And the desert waffle, omg! Have gone several times. Every time has been fantastic service and fantastic food. Be forewarned, the pretzel mustard tastes more like a horseradish sauce than a mustard. I cannot say enough great things about Flying Heart! It's my favorite stop to make when I'm in the Bossier City area. It's a cute old firehouse that they turned into a brewery- it's grown so much over the past few years. They have a pretty spacious covered back patio with live music sometimes and tons of tables and space in the inside as well. They have really fun trivia nights if you're looking for some thing fun to do during the work week. Overall- the beer has always been pretty yummy, different flavors based on the seasons too, the pizzas are always fantastic and the staff is really nice. I love giving back to a local business that gives back to their community. I see Flying Heart getting involved with Shreveport/Bossier events all the time- I love to see it !
