I was in Bossier City for work. Flying Heart was a favorite of guys who had been there before. I think it was a Tuesday night we went, the place is busy. We got a high top table near the back of the restaurant. It's a brew pub so lots of beer choices. The pizza is the best thing on the menu. I decided on the pepperoni. Beer was the blonde. The waitress was fast and knowledgeable. Pizza came out pretty quick for pizza. I order another blonde and I'm enjoying a slice. The crust is thin and pepperoni tastes like it was made in house. Sauce has a little sweet to it but definitely very fresh. It will be a regular stop when I'm in Shreveport/Bossier City. read more

We just had the best pizza & wings at Flying Heart Brewing! Our waiter, Aaron, was attentive and helped us narrow down our choices for our after concert dinner. Even the chef, Chef K, came out to greet us and make sure we enjoyed our meal. She even took time out of her busy schedule to visit for a few minutes. That means a lot! The dining room is quite spacious and they have outdoor seating as well, though summers in Shreveport are much too hot for dining outside in my opinion! Aaron explained that they adjust the ph of the water they use in the crust so that it is the closest to New York water thus making it the closest to New York pizza crust as possible. Drove over from Tyler for the day and wanted a beer after checking out some sites, nice brewery, good selection of beers and especially dark beers. We ordered two pizzas are of which are just decent size by themselves, but we figured we would have some to take home and we were glad we did, I can't remember the names one had Carnitas on it, and one had hot wings sauce with cauliflower crust both of which I questioned. But both were so so good. I would make an hour half drive from the Tyler area just to go and try these or something else on their menu again along with their beer. Highly recommend. It was non-smoking inside which I cannot say for the one Margaritaville casino that we went to that smelled like a giant ashtray. I would recommend this brewery for beer andits food.
