First day of summer, we decided to celebrate by getting ice cream here. There are so many flavors to choose from. I decided on jumping Jersey Cow. My daughters choose cheese cake and a sherbet. We got the kids size and it was two very generous scoops. I felt pricing was very good and fair for what they provided. There is small area with a few table and chairs. There are also a few benches outside. The girls that were working did a great job serving customers. They were super busy so no time to take out the trash. The only negative feedback I have is that the trash can should be moved to the opposite side of the door. It was the first thing I smelled when I walked in the store instead of the delicious ice cream. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back to treat my family for dessert here. read more

Great local ice cream shop with the best brand ice cream in Minnesota. They have tons of flavors and a super helpful staff. The kids scoops are big which is always a win for family and they definitely rep the local flavor for the communities they are in, fun to have a local shop that has great ice cream at a decent price! read more

We love coming here as a family! There are so many choices and at great competitive prices. We enjoyed a mint chocolate chip. Just what we were hoping for! Thankful for a decent size parking lot, places to sit inside, and also out when it's nice. The staff is great and welcoming. A summer must to stop at this place! read more

Buffalo Minnesota is turning into a little gem of a place to visit. If you need to get off the lake, I recommend you check this place out. The servings are huge. The price is affordable. And just outside the door they have a 24 hour ice cream vending machine. They have many flavors. I was super excited to see black walnut and butter brickle. Those two flavors took me right back to my childhood good in Kansas. Yummy. It would definitely be a place our family would visit again. read more

10/10 - if you ever find yourself in Buffalo (MN) you HAVE to check out this place. I love the variety of flavors they had (25+ flavors if I remember correctly), the portion, and it's affordable! I can't recommend the blueberry waffle cone enough, it's the perfect balance of blueberry in vanilla ice cream without overpowering each other, and the waffle cone crunch you get here and there is just heavenly. Small ice cream shop that offers big scoops! Family owned business, the father of the owner happened be running the shop when we stopped in. He was very nice and friendly. He offered samples of any flavor we wanted to try, which is nice. They have a lot of flavors to offer, something for everyone. I personally love that they separate the ice creams that have peanuts from the ones that do not, that way people with allergies can enjoy ice cream from here as well. Major kudos for that! I ended up getting a single size (2 1/2 scoops of ice cream, 2 flavors). I choose strawberry cheesecake and superman. Both were amazing! The ice cream was soft, creamy and flavorful! Low price for a large amount of ice cream. I love it! The atmosphere was nice. Smaller but a decent amount of seating inside. Looked like they offer coloring pages for kids as they had some hanging on the wall, which is nice. If/when I'm back in Buffalo, I'd stop by for sure! read more

We had What's the Scoop ice cream truck for my husband's 50th Birthday Party along with other food truck vendors... what an AMAZING family to work with . Super responsive and great communication from day one until they were in our yard serving all of our guests... Amazing ice cream! Very kind and friendly service. I couldn't believe the amount of choices. They gave gigantic scoops and you could still pick two flavors with a single scoop. It was a cute place, but we ended up walking across the road to sit by the lake - what an awesome location to be able to do that! Can't wait to come back! read more

Cute! Extremely kind owner and employees let us taste a few before making our decisions. What's the scoop in Buffalo Minnesota has delicious ice cream, milkshakes banana splits or anything else you're craving. Don't miss out on this place. because you will absolutely be missing out. They have a drive up which you can pick up your order and get on your way back to your house or wherever you're going. This was excellent for us because it was late at night and we had a craving. Today on my trip up north I saw a sign that said "Ice cream!" and had to stop given I love ice cream. Brady, who was working, was very nice and asked how I was right away and if he could get me anything. I got a double sundae with Snowflake ice cream and Caramel Collision & it was amazing. I asked for mini marshmallows and he put them on the bottom of the waffle bowl and on top. The ice cream was good and I really liked the atmosphere. Overall had to give a 5/5 for A) good ice cream and B) good marketing read more

Ok, I don't ever go downtown Buffalo but my boys wanted to go for Father's Day for ice cream. The option was the standard upside down served ice cream treat or something different. We chose something different and it was an awesome choice. High quality ice cream at prices same or less then big chains. I was a bit disappointed to learn they don't make the ice cream there, but it was very good and well worth it. Enjoy! read more

I never take the time to do reviews on yelp, but this place forced me out of my normal ways. I went there for the first time tonight, even though the wife had tried to get me to go multiple times, and it was amazing! Big servings of ice cream that don't slip off the cones when my 4, 6, and 8 year olds lick them. As someone who would order Dairy Queen as their last meal on death row, I can say I will choose this place over Dairy Queen every time. I will definitely be back. read more

For our family of 5, we can eat there for about $20, and everyone gets just what they want. My brothers usually get chicken strips or a burger (with bacon!) and my mom and dad choose some sort of sandwich. They've got a great selection of food, and an even larger selection of frozen custard! What I love, is that every day they have a different 'flavor of the day' and they even give out little calendar sheets that tell you which flavor is going to be there on which day of the month. When we go as a family, my brother will grab one and say, "Let's come here on the 19th, they have 'andes candies' that day!" Usually we never make it, but, if we do then he's one happy kid. So, not only do they have good food and great custard, their service is amazing! I can't recall a time when I haven't been greeted with a smile, or where the employee wasn't being friendly. They're a great business with excellent people. They take your order and repeat it back to you so that you'll know it's right, they bring your food to your table when it's ready, and they are sure to make sure everything is working out well for your meal. If something isn't right, they do their best to fix it and ensure your satisfaction. For anyone in the area, I recommend stopping in there for even just dessert, you won't be disappointed. It's a great place to be, a nice environment, and they're always friendly. For all the Culvers restaurants I've been to, they've never let me down.
