Also came here on a recommendation from a relative. I'd never been to this area of MN before but it was a cute little downtown and the ice cream was surprisingly good, way above my expectations on the flavors and quality. The staff was very patient and friendly, helped us with the sampling and sizing after having a large bbq dinner. If anyone's passing through I highly recommend giving them a visit!

Well the chocolate they make is really amazing. 5 stars for that…read more This review is specific for the ice cream portion of the business. 3 stars for that, but weighted overall to consider the chocolate portion of the business. They don't volunteer that they have kid size, which is smaller than one scoop, even when you walk in with a two year old. I really wish they had, or given me more time to look at the menu to see for myself. One scoop is WAY too much for a kid and plenty for an adult. Maybe it's up-selling, maybe they just pounced because we were the only ones there. The ice cream is good, but oddly all of the canisters are covered so you don't get to see the ice cream, you just choose by reading the descriptions. Thirdly they have no where to sit. A tiny bench that barely fits two people by the ice cream and another bench outside. So if you have three people together, you'll have to split up to stay and enjoy it. Also if the third person tries to lean on the wrought fence outside the shop, they are going to fall. That fence is no longer anchored and will be a hazard someday very soon.

Diet conscience folks need to stop in for their chocolate cravings. Why east it on a Milky Way when…read moreyou could buy a delicious home made chocolate from a mom and pop chocolate shop. The owner is friendly and has a good sense of humor. The candies are magnificent, Carmels are the best, and they may still have Icecream.

The Cheese curds were good as always, but I do feel like I need to drop them a star year over year…read more The waitress informed me that they got a new Chef, which unfortunately leads to the disappearance of a few of my favorite items from the menu, including the Buffalo Chicken flatbread and Chicken bacon ranch flatbread. I tried the stag burger this time around though, and it was quite delicious! I was not so impressed with the Margarita pizza that my wife shared with me though. Unfortunately this Friday evening out on the patio they had a DJ doing some music. The volume level was appropriate for dinner, but it got a bit too heavy with club vibes as dinner progressed, which surprisingly, being The Chainsmokers fan that I am, I did not find myself appreciating. This place overall still has my recommendation, but I left a little bit let down compared to past experiences.

Good service - felt like an upper class kind of place with specials and great knowledge of the menu. I'd have to say mediocre food. Focaccia excellent 10/10 Calamari ok - I'm a spicy guy but too spicey 5/10 Thai brussel sprouts - amazing 8/10 scallops meal - tasty but small, not enough for a meal 7/10 BBQ salmon - very nicely done, tasty Side of gouda potatoes was great - crispy outside, clear cheese flavor - very nice bang bang shrimp tacos - not good - avoid Overall, good place to boat into but wouldn't drive here for the quality vs price.
