However once you get inside it's anyone's guess as to what is available for both food and drink. Today on a Saturday morning a couple walked in and walked back out. I went in after them and asked the lady at the counter what happened. They wanted coffee and she didn't make any because she said she had only had one customer. No point in making a full pot. Interesting logic. The only food was what was in the glass case. Donuts, kolache (only one kind a giant pig in a blanket), and croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese and options for meat - as long as it's in the case. Not a flaky croissant because it's in plastic wrap. Good thing is that she heated up the sandwich and kolache. Not sure this place will be around long so if you like donuts it might be a good option for you. Not sure about the coffee. You take your chance on that.

Not to be: I ordered the rib special with moist brisket. Apparently, the cook did not know what moist meant as mine proved dry and stringy. The ribs were scrawny as if from an emaciated pig. It definitely was not what one expects from Texas barbecue. The side of beans was just a thimbleful. The best part of the meal was the banana pudding for dessert. Service was fine and it seemed like mostly a local crowd. If I returned, I would order something other than barbecue like most other patrons did.

Some of the best service I've had in a long time and even better food. I'm normally not a big fan of pizza and really don't like sandwiches other than on plain white bread or a croissant, but their pizza is some of the best I've ever had. I originally went just to support a friend's family and was almost immediately taken by the quality. They use a brick oven for their pizza, something you can't find anywhere else in town. The owners keep the place as friendly and welcoming as possible. read more
