The mashed potatoes, gravy and fried okra were really tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. In case you're interested, I guess they have a buffet every day. I looked at it before we ordered. There was spaghetti, chicken-fried chicken, and fried catfish. They have two or three of the typical buffet vegetables along with a salad bar. All of the things on the salad bar looked fresh, but they had those little red BB's that are a substitute for bacon bits. That is classic West Texas, small town salad bar right there. Made me smile (though I did not eat any of them). :-) We would certainly come back here and try some of the other fare. Again, we opted for the combination burrito which had sausage, chorizo, bacon, potatoes, cheese and beans all wrapped up in a HOMEMADE tortilla. The tortilla is one of my favorite parts as it's chewy, soft texture and slightly earthy, mildly sweet taste complements the filling to a T. You have the option of red or green (or both) salsas on the side. They are smaller containers of salsa so I'd get two of the kind you want. Fair warning, the green is a one-two-punch with heat! Again, it was BURRITO-FUL! As I stated in my first review, the staff is just the kindest! We had a great little convo with them before being handed our breakfast burritos. I have not tasted their steaks but I hear they are also amazing. This place gets packed fairly quickly. Obviously as more patrons arrive to eat, the service will slow. Sometimes it takes a little while to get your food due to the amount of people. The staff are wonderful and friendly.
