I've never been treated with such rudeness and outright hostility by a dental hygienist in my entire life. I showed up today at 12:29 for an appointment at 12:30. Immediately I was confronted by the hygienist who didn't ask me how I was doing or even greet me but immediately became confrontational and angry by telling me I was fifteen minutes late and she didn't think she could do my "entire" cleaning. I told her I was sorry and I thought my appointment was for 12:30. Her demeanor was angry, hostile and rude and made me feel uncomfortable. Instead of getting started on the cleaning she kept arguing with me and asked me hadn't I got the text message saying that my appointment was at 12:30 and I said I hadn't gotten any messages. She continued to be rude and confrontational and asked me if I wanted text messages and said that she would go into the system right now and make sure that I get added in to receive text messages while waiting her hands in the air. Her demeanor at that time was agitated, unfocused and angry. She got up to leave the room to have me"added" to the system for text messages then immediately abandoned that thought and did an about face and came back to her hygienists chair. I at that point told her I thought she was being rude and unprofessional and angry and that I wanted to cancel my appointment. When I complained to the front desk about the way I was treated the receptionist stuck up for the hygenist and said that the hygienist essentially was in the right for arguing with me about my appointment time and being rude. I said I wanted my money back for the night guard they made me on a prior appointment because I didn't think I would likely come back to that location. She would not process a refund at that time but did finally start to apologize (but was insincere) This same hygienist has twice refused to clean my teeth manually, has done an not so thorough job on my teeth and has denied my request not to use that automatic sonic teetch cleaner thing even when I told her it causes me pain. She is also not good at using it and has burned me more than once by her incompetence at using this standard peice of equipment. I didn't complain because I love doctor wheeler but today's visit combined with this hygienists past work on me was egregious read more

He been a great dentist and I wish he was closer to me but he is worth the drive. His prices are affordable since I do not have insurance and have to pay out of pocket. I am terrified of dentists. Dr. Wheeler and his staff are incredible. It's embarrassing to say that I require IV sedation for my cleanings. The staff are aware of my fears and treat me with such care and compassion. I live 2.5 hours away and trust me, it's worth the drive. The entire experience from checking in to leaving is done in a professional and caring manner. They treat you as a person, not a patient. I know Barbara and Ruth...their sister was my very best friend and that's how I became a patient of Dr. Wheeler. If you're looking for a wonderful dental experience, this is the place to go. i'm not the biggest fan of dentists since i've been little, when my mom found this place when i was in high school they took great care of me, especially when i had braces/gotten them off. once they found out my dental genetics werent great and i was very prone to cavities, they didn't give me the gold star service anymore. the staff would legit talk crap about me in ear shot while getting a teeth cleaning. i already have bad anxiety over the dentist but this made it even worse. i have half a wisdom tooth left from extractions. 4 of my fillings have popped out within not even a year, and not to mention when i got said fillings (molars) they shaved them down to be flat which created more problems. thousands of dollars down the drain. safe to say i will NOT be coming back here EVER !! read more

Love my dentist office. This was my second visit and was just as good as the first. They're always ready for you right at your appointment time when you get there. I received a call yesterday morning from the receptionist telling me they haven't seen me in 2 years and would like to have me come in for an appointment that someone else had canceled. I was free and went it. As I was getting my teeth cleaned, the lady noticed my tonsils were a abnormal size and preceded to ask me questions about sleep. Turns out I suffer from sleep apnea which is why I grind my teeth, snore, and struggle of air while sleeping cause of my tonsils. I am now getting my tonsils removed in a month a half. Awesome service. Awesome staff, and an amazing doctor. They do care for you and I really appreciate it. read more

They make sure I am ok through out any procedure and recently offered me gas to help with my anxiety, it helped and was not an extra cost for the procedure I was having done. It was the best decision of my life. Their staff is amazing, the dentist took the time to explain everything to me and even gave me three different options for repairing what needs to be done. I went in for a deep cleaning and had some anxiety but the staff calmed me down and I walked out of there feeling calm and at peace. We love Doc Wheeler and his staff. After relocating to the high desert 7 years ago we went through several dentists up here. We had such bad experiences! Dirty offices, rude receptionist and worse, unscrupulous dentists that actually made up work we needed done on our teeth! Finally we found Dr. Wheeler! (cue angels singing) His office is clean and comfortable, everyone is very friendly and professional and our family has never once left his office feeling that he has done anything that didn't need to be done. Dr. Wheeler himself is very kind and tries hard to make you feel relaxed and calm in the dental chair. Started coming here recently for daughter's wisdom teeth extraction and other basic dental procedures for me and family. love the staff and the dentists here! Office is clean, dentist is thorough, professional, and friendly. They make going to the dentist as pleasant an experience as one could have visiting a dental office. 2 years ago Dr Wheeler did a root canal and other stuff on me. I should've wrote a review a long time ago because they let me fall off my chair when I was half asleep but I didn't but now I've been having pain in the tooth he supposedly did a root canal on, I went to another dentist yesterday and come to find out he didn't even do it right! I've only been going to Dr. Wheeler for 6 months. I must say I am impressed. They truly care about their patients. I woke up last night in in incredible pain. Left a message on their answering system. Call was returned 10 minutes after they opened. By 9:30 Dr. Wheeler gave me novacaine to kill the pain while he diagnosed me. Procedure was totally painless. I can't possibly say enough good things about his incredible staff. read more

i'm not one to write reviews but I have to put this out there for all who are wanting to go here. I had recommended that my daughter and granddaughter (2yrs old) go here just because of all grand reviews seen on here. My daughter went had a great experience... my grand daughter as well and was set up for a new appointment for a procedure ... life happened and she was unable to make her appointment. Now I know it would have be-hooved my daughter to call and inform the office but like I said life happens...I too work in the medical field so I know but we do not turn away patients... and we do not refuse to set another appointment until payment of missed appointment is made... patients know that there is a fee for this and is due once they come in for their next set appointment as well as any fees for said appointment... now my daughter requested that they set appointment for my granddaughter and she will gladly pay for missed appointment and of course other fees at time of the appointment ... front desk, manager were all just very rude and demanded that fee be paid over phone before they would even consider her as a patient... my daughter of course upset and ask to speak with the doctor... Dr. Wheeler had no time nor interest in speaking with my daughter to work something out just told manager to dismiss her and my granddaughter as patients...and if we had any issues we could see an attorney??? wth!! I dont get it... one appointment missed...said we'd pay at next appointment...what's the problem?? This just tells me and should warn you all that all you are to this facility is a $$ sign... your health and well being is not their concern or priority. if you want to be treated with care and as a person I highly discourage you from going to this doctor... staff very rude...disrespectful.
