I love Dr. Rohmer and his health staff. I have been going to this office since I moved to Victorville in 96' so I've been through Dr. Petitti, Juddleson and now Rohmer. I have not had any issues with the transitions and I've always received quality care. Rohmer is personable, funny, professional and friendly. He's also a little loud, but that's ok...that goes under funny. If you are new to the high desert or you don't like your current dentist, check him out! I recently lost my dentist due to he retired and I needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Rohmer was it and so glad. Dr. Rohmer and his entire staff are so professional and they go out of their way for you. The office is really clean and organized. Dr Rohmer was a very nice man But I was not happy with what I went through Put me through a lot of pain that lasted over a month and he was not able to take care of the problem as he said he could not do it but said he could so later was told he could not!!- (but this was after almost three hours later) It delayed me getting the help I needed becaue of so much jaw pain He should have seen that this was not something he could do immediately He then sent me on my way! The person who did the x rays was efficient but did not seem to understand I was choking and gagging (until I pushed her hand away) Not the best as far kindness She cut my mouth Also I was told some things that were not true (which I found out from my Oral Surgeon) If you have anxiety I would not recommend as I felt I was being pushed into things I did not want and some things were NOT true -Also Dr Rohmer did not appear to know how to inject properly creating a huge amount of pain which lasted over a month He was very nice but I would never return nor could I recommend read more

His staff made the transition simple and took extra time to thoroughly explain our new coverages. After a few months, I developed a cavity and had it treated at Dr. Rhomer's office. The filling ended up causing me pain and despite having it adjusted three times, it continued to bother me. Instead of giving me the runaround or recommending a root canal like other dentists had in the past, Dr. Rhomer listened to my concerns and offered to redo the filling before resorting to more drastic measures. I have been coming to Dr.Rohmer's office for the last two years. My entire family does as well. The staff is awesome! Extremely friendly and accommodating. Dr. Rohmer is very gentle. The only dentist that I have ever encountered that you cannot feel when he is numbing you! (Everyone dreads this part) highly skilled dentist. He takes the time to listen to you. His assistants are great. The oral hygienist is amazing! Mikal is so good at what she does. My kids who are petrified of the dentist do not mind coming for check ups. That says a lot. Dr, Rohmer advertises in the View, a magazine published on behalf of Del Webb Solera for the residents. We are a senior community. I called for an appointment because I had a tooth break off and it affected my smile. They said because I had an HMO they couldn't take me. I told them I had a new type of insurance plan with Aetna that allows me to pay up front and become reimbursed by Aetna. I was then given an appointment. Today, I was called again and told they could not take me because I had an HMO. I reminded them that Aetna had called them to confirm that I could use their services. She said yes, she then remembered. She said my exrays and exams would be $140.00. I reminded her about the ad in the View for 20% off. She said ok, it would be $135.00. I also reminded her that my xrays and exams are free with my Aetna. I will not ever go to this dentist and I intend to notify the VIew to put in their ad that they do not take HMO's and to reconsider using their advertising. Karen O. read more

I've visited a few dentists but Dr. Rohmer is by far my favorite. I had to get my first root canal and I really didn't know what to expect financially. I originally visited a local dentist that was rated well and she told me that I also had a cavity that needed to be filled. I visited Dr. Rohmer due to high recommendations and for a second opinion and I felt extremely welcomed from signing in to leaving. The people working the front desk were welcoming and pleasant to speak with. The nurse taking my x-rays was gentle enough to accommodate my small mouth with the child-sized biter after the adult one was too painful. I was very nervous to get my root canal since I had never had one but Dr. Rohmer talked me through it every step of the way. He was comforting to where I wasn't as nervous and by the time I was done, I didn't even realize it was over. Additionally, it turns out my cavity wasn't as bad as the previous dentist made it seem. I've made Dr. Rohmer my primary dentist and although I live a bit further from his office, I'll gladly take the time to go see him. read more

His office is light, large, comfortable, his staff very friendly and efficient, and the care is fastidious and excellent. with an easy manner. And if you are anxious or tense, perhaps you can ask for a relaxant - it sure worked on my Mom today who was so afraid of the tooth that needed to be extracted. Amazing! Beautiful and up-kept office, clean and sanitary, very short wait. All of the staff is very nice and helpful. The dentist is really great and knowledgeable, he fixed things my other dentist messed up! Apparently, the other dentist had not drilled all of the decay and then put a filling over that decay!
