This a top notch repair shop! Brought my 2017 Ford Explorer with a bent rim (been dealing with balancing issues for 6 months) on Saturday morning at 8:00am. What an amazing experience I had today from the time I arrived first thing in the morning. The shop opens at 8am but you know in Miami nothing seems to open on time, to my surprise the shop was open and the staff were already preparing for the day. I was assisted immediately by VERY friendly staff and was told that they could work on my four dented rims today and have them looking like brand new. I had read reviews before I went there and was a bit skeptical since I had recently heard that companies have their friends write rave reviews for them. Luis and his crew turned my car around in a day, and my wheels look reborn (there was very minor curbing on 3 out of the 4 wheels, and the paint had tapped out on all 4 wheels after a repaint from another refurbisher 5 years ago). THERE ARE STILL GOOD PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH.................... I was quite the "Damsel in Distress" today. I was preparing my car for my first Uber job, the problem was that one of my car seats wouldn't fold out properly, as awkward as I felt asking for help for this silly problem, I drove around looking for a "mechanic" to help sort it out! Out of nowhere I ended up pulling towards a "cool looking building with graffitti" on its walls that had "car stuff" on it, so, I decided to stop. I stayed in my modest car, nervous to get out after seeing Maseratis and Corvettes in the shop. "A gentleman" walked up to my car and asked if I needed help. I told him it was an odd issue, and he told me not to worry, he would look at it. Well, he worked on my car for about half hour running back and forth looking for the right tools and working up a sweat. After he had fixed my problem, I asked him how much I owed him, and he said "Favors are not charged", in return, I offered to give him a good word and requested a business card. When he came back, he gave me his personal business card......and it turns out HE IS THE CEO !!! I had been wanting to repair some curbing and also a hairline crack on the inside lip of one of my car's wheels for well over a year but wasn't really convinced the trouble and cost would be worth it. Well, fast forward to last week when the wheel with the cracked lip began leaking air very slowly after having had new tires installed. As I had done before, i began calling and visiting a few of the shops that specialize in wheel repair and am glad to have found the Wheels Doctor. Upon my initial visit I met Kevin whom was kind enough to walk me through the entire process. I then called back a week or so later and spoke with Jorge whom is the president and CEO and he was also very helpful and extremely knowledgeable, and we scheduled the appointment as had been initially suggested. So I took the car in first thing this morning and was very glad to hear they expected to finish it before the end of the day. Well, let me just say they did an amazing job! Seriously, the wheels look absolutely new. Something has to be said about a business owner that's found his niche, expends all his energy in perfecting his business, and does so professionally and courteously, and whom has absolutely zero time to waste with games and/or politics. Great work at an affordable price. My 1 fault (ok 1 of my faults) is that I drive like an asshole... When I'm out their whippin my ride I tend to scratch the hell out of my rims unfortunately. Finding honest people to trust with my car is something I search for in every city. Last time I actually cracked the rim to my suv and was sure I'd need a whole new rim.
