After a few adjustments I was back to myself. Since I have relocated to the mainland I have tried to get relief via other chiropractors but they just do not use the same techniques as Dr Rorex so I do not get the relief that I would like to. I have gotten to where I just wait until I can see Dr Rorex. I highly suggest Dr Rorex to everyone! Keep in mind that Chiropractic care is gradual for some of us so don't toss in the towel if you do not get immediate relief. Give it some time! You will be glad you did because it is soooo worth it!! Easy to get to and on the second floor. Elevator and stairs available immediate to Dr. Reese's Office. My experience: Dr. Reese blew me away on my first visit. He was able to pin point problematic areas without much information given other than "my whole left side". I've had only 6 appointments and am flexible enough to keep a good posture when working out. After years of attempting to do it on my own without much success, Dr Reese was able to help realign my whole left side within weeks. My stability has significantly increased and my lower body strength is performing as it did in my mid to late 20's (I'm 31, felt like I was 38). My posture has also been poor for years due to a back 'hunch' and forward shoulders. Dr Reese was also able to open up and release tension built up. I'm now able to walk and breath well without feeling winded or in pain. Although I know slow and steady wins the race, I am anxious and now looking forward to my journey to regain my health and cannot thank Dr Reese enough and credit him for the progress this far. My regular chiropractor was scheduled a month out, so I called Dr. Reese and he was able to get me in the next day. On the phone I asked how much it would cost and he told me $500 for ten visits. So you can imagine my surprise after the first visit when he told me the bill was going to be $625. I should have stopped then, but still in pain, I paid and hoped for the best. I went to a total of four visits and his care didn't offer me any relief from my pain and tight back/hips. He's a nice guy, he used a lot of machines and gadgets on me, but he did not manually adjust me in the way that my other chiropractor can do that offers me relief. I emailed to ask if I could get a refund on the remaining visits, explaining that all bodies are different and I didn't feel like he was the right provider for me with the methods he uses. He said no refunds and also stated the incorrect number of visits remaining (too few!). Note: I don't have a copy of the signed paperwork or remember what it says, so I don't know what I'm actually on the hook for. I suggest that Dr. Reese provide the patient with a copy of the paperwork they can read before the visit or take home with them. Also, it took over a month and another reminder email for him to get back to me. I responded saying that I was very unhappy and that every body is different and my body didn't respond well to his treatment, and he emailed back with "That is part of having gone to a qualified science base medical school. I have seen hundreds of patientents over the years and I know how long and how many visits certain conditions will take to heal properly. I am sorry you disagree with my plan." I do disagree, I have found better care through other providers and my own self treatment. I am frustrated with Dr. Reese, and I let him know that, and I feel like he didn't consider anything about my personal care or try to make it right. He has my money no and I feel like he has no need to make things better. I hate leaving a bad review, but this was my experience and I'm out a lot of money, so I share in hopes that it doesn't have to be this way for other people.

(Todd had relieved his back issues and no surgery was required.) I was given his contact details and even though I lived in MT. Vernon, if he was this good, it would be worth the drive. On my first appointment, Todd sat down with me and just LISTENED. He then asked questions. He wanted to know about my injury, how it had affected my life and what my expectations were. Then we developed a plan. It wasn't your standard 'cookie cutter' plan. It was individualized just for me. This plan included stretches and exercises that were geared to me and my abilities and pain level. The exercises progressed as I progressed. l learned many new ways to protect my back including increasing my core strength, using my legs to help manage the weight, and how much is 'ok' to lift. That said, you receive quality of care at North Sound physical therapy. They build a plan around your injury and really explain the process. I was not able to complete my plan; however, they called me to remind me and gave me multiple opportunities to come in and work with their staff and physical therapist and I greatly appreciate them and all they do. I would say for your physical therapy needs if you don't already have an established facility or staff to work with give them a shot. Give Northtown physical therapy a shot.

The staff is patient, knowledgeable, and thoughtful in their care. I am currently undergoing PT for an overuse injury of my shoulder and within two weeks my pain has been reduced by 50% and my range of motion is dramatically improved. I had extended PT after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage in 2012 and the care I received at NSPT was second to none. The care I needed was quite different from what I had needed in the past for running injuries. They not only helped me with my deficits I suffered as a result of the brain hemorrhage, they were patient and understanding with my mental and emotional issues as well.
