It was my typical tight back/hips injury I get about once a year from working out, but I remained…read morestuck and needed help. My regular chiropractor was scheduled a month out, so I called Dr. Reese and he was able to get me in the next day. On the phone I asked how much it would cost and he told me $500 for ten visits. So you can imagine my surprise after the first visit when he told me the bill was going to be $625. I should have stopped then, but still in pain, I paid and hoped for the best. I went to a total of four visits and his care didn't offer me any relief from my pain and tight back/hips. He's a nice guy, he used a lot of machines and gadgets on me, but he did not manually adjust me in the way that my other chiropractor can do that offers me relief. I emailed to ask if I could get a refund on the remaining visits, explaining that all bodies are different and I didn't feel like he was the right provider for me with the methods he uses. He said no refunds and also stated the incorrect number of visits remaining (too few!). Note: I don't have a copy of the signed paperwork or remember what it says, so I don't know what I'm actually on the hook for. I suggest that Dr. Reese provide the patient with a copy of the paperwork they can read before the visit or take home with them. Also, it took over a month and another reminder email for him to get back to me. I responded saying that I was very unhappy and that every body is different and my body didn't respond well to his treatment, and he emailed back with "That is part of having gone to a qualified science base medical school. I have seen hundreds of patientents over the years and I know how long and how many visits certain conditions will take to heal properly. I am sorry you disagree with my plan." I do disagree, I have found better care through other providers and my own self treatment. I am frustrated with Dr. Reese, and I let him know that, and I feel like he didn't consider anything about my personal care or try to make it right. He has my money no and I feel like he has no need to make things better. I hate leaving a bad review, but this was my experience and I'm out a lot of money, so I share in hopes that it doesn't have to be this way for other people.

Easy to get to and on the second floor. Elevator and stairs available immediate to Dr. Reese's Office. My experience: Dr. Reese blew me away on my first visit. He was able to pin point problematic areas without much information given other than "my whole left side". I've had only 6 appointments and am flexible enough to keep a good posture when working out. After years of attempting to do it on my own without much success, Dr Reese was able to help realign my whole left side within weeks. My stability has significantly increased and my lower body strength is performing as it did in my mid to late 20's (I'm 31, felt like I was 38). My posture has also been poor for years due to a back 'hunch' and forward shoulders. Dr Reese was also able to open up and release tension built up. I'm now able to walk and breath well without feeling winded or in pain. Although I know slow and steady wins the race, I am anxious and now looking forward to my journey to regain my health and cannot thank Dr Reese enough and credit him for the progress this far. The office staff is knowledgeable and friendly and I am always able to make an appointment when I need to be seen. I was able to make the fairly focused office hours work despite my limited flexiblity, and the first adjustment from Dr. Lennarz on my C1 led to a profound experience. His thoroughness and precision were greatly appreciated, and made the brief followup appointments well worth it. Unlike other chiro's, who I think build their biz model on a couple of years of adjustments per patient, Health First has a front loaded cost structure, so you are definitely paying out of pocket for your care. Fortunately my insurance covered insurance, even out of state, and I was able to recoup a significant part of my expenses. It was totally worth it for me, however, as it has truly set me on the path of personal wellness. I am back in my home state, seeing another Blair practitioner, as well as other musculoskeletal specialists, to assist with my ongoing reset of my alignment after many years of subtle but impactful mis-alignment. I hope to be a fully functioning person by the end of the summer, which is a pretty amazing 9 month turnaround after many many years of wellness investment. Dr. Lennarz is the real deal, and if you also suspect that your upper neck is driving a lot of your issues, you can't really do better. He did have some significant front office staff turnover at this location while I was there, that made for some complicated interactions and appointment bookings, but with a positive mental attitude we worked it out. The fact that this sort of service is offered is this sort of off the beaten path place is kind of amazing, and explains a certain amount of this particular turbulence.

A neighbor recommended him to me and warned me that there was a bit of an expense at first, but it was well worth it and to hang in there. I was willing to try anything to get rid of this pain. Basically he's training your spine to be in the right position so you don't experience pain. His adjustments are done with only the neck area. He doesn't twist you all over the place like a regular chiropractor does. However, he is not a regular chiropractor. He's considered one of the best in his field. I even sent one of my friends to him that has a rod in her back, and she was extremely pleased that he was able to give her some relief from her pain. After seeing Chris Frost on and off for ten plus years for occasional and recurring lower back pain…read morewhich Chris was able to mitigate shortly after every visit, I somehow for the first time in my life developed Plantar Fasciitis on my right foot and at a random visit I mentioned this to him during one of my back pain episodes. The pain got worst over a one year period. I have cement floors in half my house. Chris advice was to never walk bare-footed from the moment of waking up to the time I went to bed. Well after following his advice the pain slowly ebbed over a six month period and I am now totally pain free and the only cost was a pair of in house slippers with good support.
