No masks worn by staff. Just tiny baby & toddler stuff. Total bust. Not really a toy store.

JOE MUGGS This…read morereview relates to the Coffee Shop within the Books-A-Million store. When we first saw the Coffee Shop, it reminded of us the Starbucks you would find within a Barnes and Noble. Definitely not... The signage said that most of the holiday drinks were sold out. Someone from the bookstore walked over to take our order. We told them we wanted a cappuccino. It should've been a red flag when they tried to talk us out of ordering the beverage. They asked if we were certain we wanted a cappuccino because it was simply a small amount of coffee with a lot of foam. To clarify, a cappuccino is an Italian coffee drink made with equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam, creating a creamy, balanced, and frothy texture. I did not question what they said and simply ordered the beverage. When I brought it back to my family, they took one sip and immediately poured it out. They said it tasted like strong coffee in the bottom and nothing but foam in the rest of the cup. So.... Do not order waste your money on coffee from Joe Muggs.

Lots of books! The place has a warehouse feel due to lighting and set up. It's not flashy. Prices…read moreare the same as B&N. Same type of bargain book area. There are lots of comics, tarot, bibles, trendy items galore. If your looking for an offbeat browsing experience check them out. 4 stars are for ambiance. Lacks the comfort feel I look for in a book store.

Really loved experience we had at house of collectibles. The owner, older gentleman named Mr…read more French., could not have been nicer and more helpful. And he has a few stories to tell. His son came in at one point and helped us with the purchase of some albums. They have albums that are open and albums that are sealed, and they have a lot of genres of music to choose from. I ended up buying a Pink Floyd album that I had been trying to locate and it was sealed. I didn't want to open it because that would decrease the value so I called back to see if they had an open copy which they did so I went back the next day and bought it. I don't know I could really explain everything that's in the store. Their books, paperback and hardback. But more than that, they have first edition, signed books by the author and kids books as well. You know what else they have? They have albums, but I already mentioned that. But what I didn't mention was I have three or four rooms of albums. They're on the floor. They're in boxes. They're on racks. So if you're looking for certain music, make sure that you leave yourself enough time to look.. They also have comic books. And trade paperbacks. And graphic novels. They have baseball cards. They have garbage pail cards. They have collectibles, figures, Star Wars, stuff. Yes, lots and lots of stuff . Thoroughly enjoyed shopping here and meeting Mr. French and talking to his son. I know this may not be everybody's jam, but for me I really enjoyed spending time browsing looking and yes, buying.

Roses is a great bargain discount store in the shopping center with WinnDixie, ReStore, Tuesday…read moreMorning and Dollar Tree. Apparently they're a small local chain. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and informed about their products. They carry a little bit of everything, from home goods, to clothes, to automotive, sundries, hardware, food, toys, etc., like the 5-and-10 store of yore. Another store recommended Roses when I was looking for souvenir tee shirts for the Golden Isles. Yes, Roses had them, and a super bargain at $5 each! I bought a few $5 Jekyll tees, some bargains on Matchbox and Jurassic World toys, and some $1.50 striped beach towels I'm going to make into beachy throw pillowcases. I even found a $1 sewing repair kit I needed, and it was a huge bargain compared to the price at JoAnn's (Dollar Tree doesn't even carry these anymore). In addition to Suave and Softsoap products cheaper than Walmart, and isopropyl alcohol cheaper than Walmart or Dollar Tree, they also had 20qt stainless steel stockpots for only $16, an awesome deal! And decent quality flip flops for $4. They are definitely tailored for beach vacation rental house needs, and souvenirs, as well as local living too. As I said, a little bit of everything. Bought a bunch of stuff I didn't know I needed, and stuff I really needed at excellent prices! Went back two more times, new stuff each time. Love Roses!
