I recently enjoyed an absolutely delightful stay at Whispering Creek. The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious and unbelievably comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding every day. Cheryl, the owner (and cook!), was so kind and went out of her way to make my husband, our friends, and I feel welcome. She seemed to know everything about Sedona and gave us many wonderful tips that improved our trip tremendously. Finally, shout-out to Cooper, the adorable dog who lives on site, is always up for pets, and basically runs the place. What a wonderful place to stay. Whispering Creek BnB was excellent. The location was perfect, located in a wonderful neighborhood with nice views. The property was immaculate with nice patios that have fire pits. Our room was new and had high quality finishes, and nice durable furniture. It also had a semi private patio. Let's talk about the Cheryl. She is a beautiful lady with a lot of knowledge of the area and she makes killer breakfasts. She was very welcoming, friendly and professional. Her expertise is in the hospitality market but also a great Chef. Cheryl also has a good staff and is very kind to them. We booked this B&B because it was highly rated on Yelp. Booking was easy on line, however I didn't know about the 10% discount for checking in on Yelp until we arrived and checked in on Yelp. By then the full amount had been charged to my card. After talking to Joe the owner he suggested using the Yelp discount when booking your stay. We received a text with check in instructions the morning of our arrival. We did in fact arrive about 2 hours early and the room was ready then. The Dreamcatcher suite was clean and cozy. The air conditioner was on and the room comfortable. The room has a fireplace and a pretty complete kitchen. There is a fantastic view of the red rocks right out the window. Breakfast is served every morning between 7:30 and 9:00 am. Barbara is the innkeeper who cooks breakfast. She is friendly giving advice on local attractions, and she is an awesome cook. As Phoenix locals who travel frequently, we've stayed at many, many places in Sedona. Whispering Creek B&B is by far the most memorable, though! To begin with, the location is phenomenal. You're tucked back just behind the main uptown strip near Cowboy Club (and definitely within walking distance!), but you'd never know it because of the views and the blissful quiet. The room was substantially bigger than we expected, with a bed, loveseat, large dresser, closet with tons of space, huge bathroom, and even a small patio with tall walls. You could easily spend weeks here and be plenty comfortable. I noticed that even individual makeup remover towelettes were left. Little, thoughtful things like this make a stay memorable! Free parking is just outside your door. For those concerned about COVID-19 precautions, you have direct access via a keypad to enter your private suite. We also had face masks and individually-packed hand sanitizer left for us, and you can request to have breakfast brought to your room for a completely contact-free experience. The highlight of our stay was brunch, which is included. Dining in Sedona is pricey, so this is an incredible value. We were super impressed with the fresh and healthy food choices, and the fact that they are LITERALLY made to order. Barb opened the door to greet us, had drinks waiting, then fired up the stove! The food and service were excellent, but Barb herself is a doll. She sat with us and shared stories and soooo much valuable insider info on the entire area. If you have the opportunity to chat with her, take it! The b&b is also pet-friendly, and our pup was welcome on the patio at breakfast. She even got her own water brought out! The host (Cheryl) and innkeeper (Barbara) were incredibly friendly and treated us like we were family. Such a great experience. I had never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before, so accidentally walked into someone else's room. But aside from that, everything went perfect. This is very conveniently located as well, walking distance to uptown Sedona next to all the shops, restaurants, and bars. Barbara sent a welcome text message well in advance so that we knew when our room was ready and the code to get in. The dining area is comfortable and well stocked and even though we did not eat breakfast at the B&B, Barbara was cooking up a storm and it smelled amazing. We will definitely be back to visit and have to say I appreciated this experience far more than other hotel/resort experiences I have had in Sedona. Thank you Cheryl and Barbara! read more

We just spent 3 nights in their Dreamcatcher room. Very spacious with very comfortable furnishings. This is one of the 3 rooms they have remodeled with plans to remodel the remaining room and kitchen in the next few months. Abundant choices daily of healthy breakfasts prepared onsite. We stayed here on a weekend trip to Sedona. Upon searching online for Sedona B&B's we decided on Whispering Creek. The B&B is clean, big and comfortable. The kitchen/dining area is bright and large. There are snacks and drinks available all day. There is a T.V, and plenty of books, magazines and brochures for local attractions. Every day there is a new menu placed in your room to select your breakfast in the morning. On the menu there are smoothies, oatmeal with fixings, eggs, toast, potatoes, fruit and yogurt, and a special of the day. Both Mornings I had the oatmeal with the fixings, the smoothie and fruit and yogurt. Barbara always had great big smiles for us when we entered the dining room and had our breakfast ready to go. She always gad the table set nicely and we all sat around and visited while we ate. We stayed in the dreamcatcher suite. Our room was large and clean. There is a large window that overlooks the red rocks. This suite has a king size bed, a full kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower, private patio in front, and the back patio was very relaxing with plants, a pergola, and waterfalls. We enjoyed our stay here, and loved the fact that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown, but within walking distance and close to many hiking trails. We will be recommending Whispering Creek to people seeking a B&B in Sedona, and will stay again if we ever visit Sedona again. read more

We stayed there over a weekend and booked online. Everything seemed to be in great order, especially the location, but things fell apart very quickly. First, we let them know when we would check in and despite multiple calls, texts, and emails, they did not get back to us until hours later. We had our dog with us and wanted to take advantage of the afternoon by dropping her off and going for a hike, but those plans were ruined. Second, when we booked online, the website said pet friendly, which is why we chose them to begin with, but when we showed up with our dog, they charged us not the $65 usual fee (which is nowhere to be found), but $100 for basically being sneaky about it. Third, the walls are flimsy as paper. We could hear our neighbors next door, and the keepers of the place clearly in our room, the Juniper 'suite' do not actually have full walls, there's a gap at the top of the walls which provides no sound barrier. Finally, the breakfast is nice, but nothing to write home about. I wouldn't take it into consideration when booking. read more

Our experience at Whispering Creek was amazing. The room itself, the Creekside Suite, was super clean and cozy. It had a very comfy queen sized bed, a flat screen TV, dresser, couch, mini-fridge, etc. It was super quiet as well which is always nice. Cheryl made sure to come and greet us when we arrived, but she texted me early in the day with the code for the room and other instructions. Having the innkeeper's cell number is always a plus in case of emergencies. As for the breakfast, we had the green smoothie which had apple, spinach, pineapple, and something else but it was super tasty along with the traditional breakfast of eggs and bacon and potatoes. There is also a good supply of pastries and coffee, tea, and hot cocoa for you at breakfast. Overall, I highly recommend Whispering Creek. It was a really excellent experience and we will definitely be returning. read more

Totally recommend this place for a short stay in Sedona. Great location for walking into town for some tourist shopping or to dinner and also centrally located for short drives to great hiking. The rooms could use a little upgrading but have all the amenities and overall, you can't beat the hospitality. Wife and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Sedona and the B&B hosts invited us and other guests to dinner with their family and friends. Excellent food, great people, and good conversation. Beats hanging with the dysfunctional family hands down! Also, the morning breakfast is made to order and Barbara, who is there each morning, is full of great ideas for your day and waiting to hear about it the next. Excellent experience! read more

We loved this little B&B. I won this trip at a cancer fundraiser that the owner Cheryl had so graciously donated to. We were not sure about going to a B&B because we haven't had much experience staying at them. The rooms have their own bathrooms and private entrances which was very nice. It was very clean with a great view. It's a very short walk to shops and restaurants too. We only made it to breakfast once bc we were gone early hiking but Barbara , the chef made an incredible breakfast with great smoothies. Cheryl and Barbara were so friendly and informative about the area. My wife and I had an amazing 4 night stay at Whispering Creek. Cheryl is a wonderful host with over 30 years in the hospitality business. The breakfasts were fantastic and all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The room was very comfortable and Internet was reliable. The location is close to everything and away from the busy part of town. The room and neighborhood were both very pet friendly. The value is excellent. If ever there was a true 5 star deserving BandB this is it! I cannot recommend Whispering Creek enough. It was truly one of the most enjoyable stays we have had in all our years of travel. This place is a gem. Great rooms, very clean, and wonderful service. It was my first trip with my puppy. He's still young but this was the perfect spot for him. Cheryl took amazing care of all of us. I'm vegetarian and she was very accommodating at breakfast. My boyfriend is not vegetarian so he got to enjoy lots of lovely breakfast items - burritos, eggs, bacon, etc! She also puts out snacks and complimentary wine in the evening, that's correct - FREE wine. She took great care of my pup, Tico, too. He had a large dog bed, treats, food bowl and waste bags upon arrival. Whispering creek is walking distance to beautiful uptown Sedona with tons of shops, restaurant and activities. I cancelled via email because the owner doesn't seem to be able to answer the phone. EVER. I still have not seen my refund of 300 dollars. My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights earlier this month and had a wonderful experience! The highlight of this place is Barbara. She made us a delicious breakfast and smoothies every morning and gave us great recommendations for hikes and different places to check out. We stayed in the dreamcatcher room which had a super comfy bed and a full kitchen. One night we wanted to use the grill which wasn't working but the owner Joe was there immediately to fix it. This is a really great lodging option during the pandemic since there's only 3 rooms. We didn't see another guest the entire time we stayed there. I also love that this place is pet friendly and our pup had a great time. I recommend bringing some water bottles with you because there's a water cooler in the lobby/main house so we were constantly filling these up and bringing them with us since it was so hot outside. Bad business In good faith I brought pictures for Cheryl to use to decorate her B&B and sell for me. A couple of weeks ago I called and she told me she didn't sell any but only gave me 8 of 20 pictures back and is now refusing to take any responsibility for the other pictures. She left the few that I found on the dining room table and no one around. I am wanting to know if anyone bought my pictures. So happy we found this place! Cheryl was a pleasure to meet and knows the hospitality business! She was there to greet us for our late check in and got us settled in our room. We stayed in the Oak Creek Suite and it was fantastic! It had a light, airy feel to it rather than the outdated decor you find at some B&B's. There was coffee and hot chocolate available all day and when we got back from dinner we took advantage of the hot chocolate to keep us warm while we enjoyed the stargazing deck. We even saw a few deer wander by as we looked at the stars. The bed was super comfy and I loved the shower products! For breakfast we had smoothies, waffles, eggs, chicken sausage and home fries! There was a good selection of items and Cheryl takes your order the night before. The waffles are a must!! Overall, we had a great experience and definitely recommend Whispering Creek!! read more

"YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED THE ROOM YOU RESERVED" was the answer I got when I asked why my room was given to someone else who wanted to extend their stay longer. Cheryl decided to move me to a smaller room with less amenities without my knowledge. I reserved a room with a fireplace, full kitchen, eating area, and large patio. I was told I would get a room without all that at a discounted rate instead. The "discounted rate" was the full price of a lesser room. When I asked why the guest who wanted to stay longer wasn't moved, I was told, with a chuckle in her voice, that you're not guaranteed the room you reserved. And, I was lucky they had a room to give me, otherwise I wouldn't be able to stay there. They would have referred me to somewhere else to stay. Not what you expect to hear after a 4.5 hour drive. There was no advanced warning, I found out when I got there. Luckily I was able to find a nearby hotel to accommodate us, and was able to salvage the weekend. Not recommended at all. read more

I had the pleasure to stay at this Wonderful bed and breakfast a couple of weeks ago. Carole (I believe that is the proprietor's name) was welcoming and gave great local suggestions. The room that I stayed in was beautiful--i appreciated the organic shampoos and coffees that were stocked. Breakfast the next day was amazing: I had a delicious green smoothie and berries with almond cream sauce. What I enjoyed more than the food was the chit chat over the breakfast table.
