We live in Woodlawn, Virginia, and have a monthly membership at this car wash. There is none available in our area and it's a half hour drive to get there. We went down on Sunday and arrived at 2 PM only to find that even though there were employees available at the site, we could not get a car wash or vacuum our cars because it had rained earlier in the day. An hour round-trip to go to a business that is supposed to be open only to find that it is closed because it rained earlier is ridiculous. Apparently better management is needed at this location. read more

This car wash could not care less about their customers. We went through the car wash because it was getting pretty dirty. First time was cool. your average car wash, nothing too special about it. We look at our transactions and it's a $25.17 charge for "Whistle Express Car Wash" for a membership. Turns out the employee didn't read the check marks and signed us up for a membership WE DID NOT ASK FOR! And not to mention, they NEVER pick up the phone. Every single time you call them it's STRAIGHT to voicemail. We had to cancel it through our bank (meaning EVERY OTHER SUBSCRIPTION WE BOUGHT) and it was such a pain in the butt. I am so glad i am not the only one this has happened to. read more

Great looking wash but doesn't clean that good. For the price not impressed. 1st time tried $10 wash -left car dirty in spots 2nd time $16 wash still the same.Talked to employee and didn't seem to care about the issue. Said well you picked the $16 dollar option. So I guessed the $30 option would haved cleaned it? I don't think so. He should have offered to run it thru again but didn't all he said was Have a bless day. Itold him that I wouldn't come back. So Poor Service----Poor Quality---Poor Value. After being pulled out of line and told to leave and not come back by an overzealous employee, I received a phone call from the Whistle express area Director, and the manager of the unit where I was pulled out of line and had my membership revoked. They apologized profusely, and claimed this was an employee training opportunity, because it was never their intention to terminate contracts with satisfied fully paying members with no history of any problems. My membership has been restored, and there have not been any further incidents with car wash attendants attempting to deny me service after this episode. I am back to being a happy customer, and receiving the services that I pay for on a monthly basis. read more

I have been going to this car wash for a very long time and have no issues. However, today was the last time. After pulling into the bay, the employee began to spray my car off as usual. As a preface, it has been very muddy on my driveway since the ground is finally thawing after a snowy start to the year. After spraying my car off she approached my window and motioned for me to roll it down. I did so, and she began to tell me that next time I came to the car wash and my car had mud on it, I would have to stop by a Speedway and spray off my vehicle beforehand because they reuse the water and the mud and rocks from my car would spray all over the vehicle behind me, but she "washed it off herself this time." This interaction left me very concerned. I understand reusing water is essential, however I'm am left wondering why there is not a filter in place to catch all the mud, rocks, trash, etc. that is washed off each car. With this in mind I will not be using this car wash anymore. I don't want my vehicle to be damaged from anything washed off the previous car, or have to pay to have my car pre-washed at a gas station before I go. read more

I would give a zero if I could. First off, no one answers the phone at this carwash. We were confused by the payment screen and somehow ended up with a monthly membership fee of $32.10. Once we saw it on our bank statement we went to the carwash and asked to cancel this. The manager was in a meeting, we were told. First was told we coud not get a refund. The guy printed a cancellation receipt for us. So, we thought it was canceled. Nope. We have been charged every month since May. We called the corporate office and were told they would get us a refund and call us back. They never did any of this. Every time you call it goes to voicemail. No one ever calls us back. This is a scam of a carwash. read more
