I was referred to this person through my parents, and although I've never met her in person, I took…read moremy parents word for it and transferred my insurance to her. Long story short, I had some car issues, and I let my insurance lapse, and I didnt speak to her for a few months,
When I called her back to reinstate my insurance, as always she was cordial, with a hint of fake, but she's a business woman, so I get it. Anyway, she gave me a quote for the type of insurance I was looking for, and I told her I'd call her on Thursday 8/14/14, to complete the process and make the payment. We set an appt for 9am on Thursday 8/14/14. I told her I would call her exactly at 9am, as this was the only day that I could take care of all my errands. I started calling her office at 9:01am on 8/14/14, and I kept getting vm. I was waiting in the DMV parking lot for almost two hours, waiting for her call. Let's not forget that she specifically told me that her office opens at 9am, and that was the time of our phone appointment. So I called the 1-800 number for Farmer's Insurance (She's no longer with State Farm), and the customer service rep then informs me that the quote she gave me had to have been a mistake, or something doesnt sound right. He said for the type of insurance I needed, she wouldn't be able to insure me on the same day, and that per Farmer's Insurance policy, the contract wouldn't bind until 12:01am the next day. WTF?!! PLEASE BE ADVISED. This is not a review for Farmers, but for this specific agent.
Luckily, there was an insurance office right across the street from the DMV. I finally couldnt wait any longer, so I walked in for a quote. The guys there were extremely helpful and attentive, and I was well taken care of. While I was sitting with the new agent (Mike), Kimberley FINALLY called back. How considerate. By now, it's 10:50am, and I'm PISSED OFF! I ignored the first few calls, but decided to call her back to hear what BS she had to say for her inconsiderate, unprofessional way of handling this. She started to try and explain that she has something come up, and that's why she just got into the office. Im thinking, wait...you dont have any staff? Whether you have emergencies or not, do you not write down appts? Can you not stop for 2 minutes to ...I dont know...check vm's? Im sorry but its 2014 and you're running a business. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to know to do the basics, like returning calls, checking messages, and being professional. Get it together.
The cherry on top of this whole story, is that when I did speak to her, the previously quoted amount, had magically doubled. Wow! No thanks. Honestly people? Dont waste your time with this agent. Kimberley Rubright, is inconsiderate of people's time, and if yours is valuable like mine, that's enough to take your business elsewhere.
I checked in with my mom today, and she states she cancelled her policy with Kimberley months ago, because she had issues with return calls, and that for three months straight, she paid for both their cars to be insured, but come to find out, only one was. WTH?!!
Thanks
