I have been to Create Space many many many maaannny times! It is where I go when I need a walk in, no appointment needed, want to create and paint something creative with my own two hands. Take it from this Yelp Elite of 5 years. There are good businesses, then great businesses, then Minnesoooooootafabulous businesses who really work to cater to their cliental and provide the best possible creative experience. Createspace is that. Create. SPACE! Your space you choose to make is 1000% your own: from the wood pieces you choose to the stain arrangement of the wood, paint colors, design and accoutrements, Create space caters to every artistic type! My family, extended family, overly extended family, friends, and visiting friends have come here for always a consistently fun, creative, no judgment, all fun loving creativity sort of time. Who doesn't need that sort of experience every once and awhile? I have made 2 small projects (Cat Person, and Reading Makes the World Big) and a customed design for not that much extra saying "Be slow to judge and quick to understand" sign as well as several corn hole game personalized design (corn hole? you do not know what corn hole is??). Taylor was our instructor, she's very patient and kind on repeating herself many times for us until we fully understand the process. They even helped me print out my own design. Oh they also offers yummy drinks. It was a very nice experience for us to be there, we enjoyed a nice 2-2.5 hours girls time together, chatting while working in our project. Highly recommended.

There were so many choices of beads to choose from for the bracelets, and it was so fun smelling all the aromatic scents for the candles and sharing our favorite scents with friends before deciding on a candle. I absolutely loved it ! The best part was that it wasn't too loud and it was easy to carry on a conversation. Everyone in the group was friendly and supportive of each other's bead and candle artwork. I just loved the environment and space. It was expensive - around $70 with tax - but it was totally worth it for the experience. And like I said, the selection of beads and aromatics were so unique, it was worth the cost for that experience alone! Besides classes, the place also sells art and creative pieces like jewelry and other trinkets. Thank you for making my birthday memorable! From the handmade goodies to printed tee shirts and sweatshirts to jewelry to thrifted handbags to clothes to art supplies, there is something for everyone. Offering light art classes in the back of the space on a giant table, make sure to grab a flyer when you're in next or check the website. For just a small fee, you could be the new owner of a piece of art crafted by you. In addition, shopping here is a great place to get gifts whether that's for a baby shower, birthday or holiday. I love a good thrift shop and reducing waste, and they had a nice little selection of clothes, well organized and for decent prices. That fell to one side of the store, and the other had to local t-shirts and makers creations that are fun to find in town. I didn't have a ton of time to explore, but they were super nice and even had a table for kids to play at while parents shopped, and I look forward to going back next time I'm in town!

We made a reservation ahead of time which was super easy by calling the studio a handful of days earlier. A reservation is optional. We were greeted by Andy who showed us the ropes regarding picking a ceramic piece, paint, & showed us to our table which was right up against the windows so we had some nice natural light. It was a relaxing atmosphere and I love how stress just melts away when you're painting. I decided on a llama succulent plant holder while my kiddo decided on the Eiffel Tower. The staff are great and friendly. You can also paint canvases if you want. They also host bday parties too! Tips: The staff will want you to do 3 coats of paint before you're done. If you don't finish your masterpiece during your visit - you can come back 1 more time to finish up. The price of the object includes the paint, firing the object, smocks, paint brushes and your time and table. Tipping is optional but appreciated.

Many of us were uncertain about our artistic abilities but Cheers Pablo makes it easy! We booked a class. Everyone paints the same thing and the leader demonstrates techniques and places to paint first to get the best result. I believe the session is supposed to be 90 minutes, but they didn't rush you out - they were generous and said the next class wasn't until 3 hours later, so we were good to finish. The provide canvas which had a penciled outline of the art that you are going to create. They provide a large variety of acrylic paint and glitter for you to create your artwork. It was lots of fun! Already looking to see when I can come back with my family. One tip I will leave is - wear clothes and shoes you wouldn't mind so much if paint got on it. If you see paint on yourself right away, clean it off before it dries. In my case, I got a nice speckle on my boot that I didn't realize until I got home, and now I have a speckled ugg.

They have such novelty paintings i.e. the history of jeans, Dad's rootbeer, Rod Serling from the Night Gallery days. I loved meeting Kelly and was in awe of this place. Another reason to come to the West Bank. It's on the block for the Wednesday weekly West End days with all the vendors.
