I went to white bluffs to try some of the famous WA IPAs and was not disappointed. I really like that they have several of their beers as both normal and high gravity options, which gives you more flexibility. I also foolishly ordered a stout, which was not the best, but i think that's my fault for buying a stout in IPA country. The feel of the place is very casual and local-i think we were the only tourists there. The main room looks and feels like an industrial warehouse which isn't the best, but the seating outside is quite nice! The lady working the taps was super nice and patiently got my picky friend several tastings to help him decide what to get. he ended up going with NOG so it was all pointless but she was really nice about it nonetheless! read more

Will be back. Came here with colleagues after work up on the plateau. I had two beers and they were both very nice. I cannot remember which I had but both were IPAs. I enjoyed the ambience and the laid back feel. Clean interior too which I appreciate. One suggestion would be to try to offer all of their selections canned to go in a 4 or 6 pack. A lot of places do now, just ask! Okay, I have to address the food. White Bluffs has the best beer ever and I was excited to order the nachos named after it! Well, I was disappointed. I could barely taste or find the pulled pork, and the ingredients they used were not the greatest in my opinion. I've had better nachos at Taco Bell! Better taste, better flavor, and way more meat! Needs way more real, quality cheese, and lose the fake cheese. Use more high quality meat and chips that aren't stale, and you might have some good nachos!! The best nachos I've ever had were at Swampy's in Kennewick down by the cable bridge. Combine their nachos with your beer and you're have the best combination ever!! Great experience here. Bartender was extremely kind and welcoming. We had beer flights, and while I liked some more than others, nothing was bad. Some were downright delicious. It was warm, but I still really enjoyed the stout. All of the IPAs were great, especially the NOG. They have a large shaded outdoor patio with an attached food window. They serve this incredible spicy grilled chicken. You can get it in a sandwich or in nachos. Both were great. They brewery also has corn hole, board games, and other entertainment. Ok, this is my favorite local brewery. Wanted to post an update after their recent 1-year anniversary and recent expansion. If you Yelp-Check-In here, you can get 50 cents off of a pint. I recently utilized this deal and had a Saison---oh, it was very tasty. I then filled my growler up with their famous Oatmeal Stout. With a white and green tasting room, the bright and warm tasting area has quickly become a cool spot to hang out at. It was a little tight, but the expansion has definitely supplied more elbow room. It's been neat to watch this place get bigger and better. I drive by this place on my home from work, and it's always good to see all the filled-up parking spots. I will start by saying I'm from Portland, so some people might describe me as a beer snob. I would describe myself as a fan of tasty beer. White Bluffs has tasty beer. The IPAs rival what is available in Portland (I hope they bring Reflection IPA into the normal lineup), and their other American style ales more than get the job done. The staff has been nothing but friendly, and remember me and my beer preferences after only a few visits. Only bar table tops ( so not good for someone who is in a wheelchair , or older people ! ) I can get past that if the people are good. I know this place gets a ton of traffic (Hanford) after work, and that is clear when you see the staff only talking with "regulars " all the time. Sometimes I don't want to chat it up with whoever is working. A lot of times I want to just hang with who I'm with and have fun. However having the staff make you feel welcome goes a long way for me. Usually you can tell if people want to be left alone or wouldn't mind if you chatted with them for 5 mins when it's like 6 people inside and the staff isn't saying much to you besides if you'd like another it doesn't make me want to come back. 3. I Love this place, it's definitely my favorite micro-brewery in the Tri-Cities! They always have great beers on tap and the people working there are extremely friendly and helpful. Also, with their new expansion they have more seating and the place feels brighter. I can honestly say I have never had a bad beer at this place. Obviously there are some I enjoy and order more than others, but their overall selection of taps is excellent. It seems everytime I go to White Bluffs they have a new beer on tap to go along with the good ole' stand-bys. The other awesome thing about the location of this micro-brewery is the proximity to Ethos Bakery, which just happens to be next door. You can step over to the bakery and order a pizza. Seriously great little brewery making seriously great brews. A bit off the freeway but worth a detour. It's rare to find a brewery where you'll like every single beer offered but for me this was such a place. I'd skip the food (it's just ho hum and too small of portions for the price) and focus on the beer instead. They don't give you all the beers they have on tap with the sampler so be sure to get samples of everything else, too, so you can taste them all. Our most favorites were found that way (Belgian Tripel, Dirty Double IPA, fantastic.) **NOTE** They do growler fills, and very inexpensively I might add. Service was nice, but not very attentive. The barman was busy chatting up the local regulars and I was mildly chuffed that I had to get his attention every single time I needed something, from first order to extra paid samples to the bill. He barely answered my questions about the beer, he was so eager to get back to his locals. But I found a very descriptive catalog about their beer sitting on the counter and it explained everything just fine, so all was well. I will absolutely be back when it comes time for them to make a few of their exceptional-sounding seasonals, such as the Dunkelweiss, and I can't wait to try their ESB (currently in the tank as of this writing). A nice casual atmosphere for beer lovers. On a Thursday after work it was packed with locals enjoying various versions of beer. If you are in the area it is a worthwhile stop.
