Great experience and fantastic service. The beers were fantastic! Cannot wait to try it again. The staff let me sample and try several beers which was so cool. Not just another brewpub, but a brewery with a great vibe everyone was super friendly. It was great to learn how the brewery has evolved over time from the manager. When you walk in the smell of the food alone is enough to convince you to stay. The service is always great and fast. I love the staff recommendations on the beer and food. Everything we have eaten here has been good from their brick oven pizza, stroganoff pasta, wraps, salads, and sandwiches. The staple here is their potato soup. Don't come here without trying it, so amazing and full of flavor! They also have different board/card games that you can do at your table. When the weather is nice they have a great patio too! Atomic Ale is currently featuring a choice of seven drafts, available as a full flight or leave out the IPAs for a more enjoyable experience ;-) heffe weiss, amber, dopple bock, oatmeal stout, and a porter. the menu lists several cleverly named sandwiches, I went with the Critical Mass Melt: sliced turkey, swiss, candied peppery bacons, caramelized onion, and a slice of avocado on parmesan crusted sourdough plus a bowl of red potato soup and two additional toasted breads :-) words cannot capture the depth of flavors playing lightly on the palate... the mix of sweet and hot and savory with the sharp crunch of toasts and the creamy smooth of avocado. the soup is all a man could ask, chock full of potatoey goodness made perfect with two twists of black pepper. read more

We went on Tuesday night and they had music bingo which was nice. You could tell it's popular because there wasn't a place to park! It's small inside and there is a place to sit outside. We were excited to try this place as it had been recommended to us by multiple people. We tried the potato soup, pretzel bites, and a special for the weak crème brûlée donut. Sadly, we were disappointed by all of it! The pretzels had a yummy buttery topping, but the pretzels themselves tasted like frozen grocery store quality. The soup was OK - nothing special and definitely not the quality it was hyped up to be. I was hoping the donut would be the redeeming quality of the meal.... It was supposed to have a Bavarian cream filling, crème brûlée topping, with caramel drizzle and ice cream on the side. I've actually never thrown away a donut before (unless it was old and stale) so this was a first for me it tasted like butane and nothing like a cream filled crème brûlée donut. To top it all off, I ordered everything over the phone as take out, and once I got to the restaurant to pay/pick up, they had a waitress try to hand me a sit-down style bill in the little tab folder with a tip receipt. Very frustrating to pay almost $40 for a low-quality disappointing meal, and be pressured to tip when not even dining in. Maybe the pizza is the thing to order here, but regardless, will most likely not be returning here again. read more

Dropped in for a beer and a quick bite. Great atmosphere for kids with great beer, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere. My husband and kids had the 4Kings pizza, and I had the Cobb salad. Both delicious. The salad was a large portion and worth the cost. We also had the keloton, atomic Amber, and blueberry cider which we enjoyed. They have games for you to play and shirts, sweaters and stickers for purchase. The waitress (Brittany) was very nice and available. She was also helpful with recommendations for my specific food requests and dairy sensitivity. We would definitely recommend. read more

The food here was alright. We were seated immediately, which is great. Waters came out quickly, and the food came out in twenty or so minutes. The actual pizza itself wasn't the best. The crust was very tough, sauce wasn't great, overall pretty mediocre. An 8-inch veggie pizza was $11, and the larger ones came up to $20+ in price. The restaurant was practically empty at around 4:00-4:30PM, so it wasn't very noisy however the music was unnecessarily loud. I still recommend this place if you want some pizza. read more

To start, the food was pretty good. I got the "Base Load Burger" and it was great, it filled me up, and tasted pretty good. The service wasn't fast, but they were very nice and often checked up on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. The ambiance was the best in my opinion, with the Manhattan project Reactor only an hour away, everything was atomic and nuclear themed, even the menu items. A large display of various items were shown, such as gas masks, ww2 era photos and Geiger counters. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would definitely recommend this. read more

We had the most fabulous dinner and service at this popular local pub. I had the famous potato soup and a fresh salad with their own dressing, My husband had a sandwich called critical mass melt which was so delicious with grated cheese on toasted bread too. We shared dessert of brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream. The service was spot on perfect. It is so fun to discover a local place with such great food, way above typical pub fare. TL;DR? Entire order was wrong including many items missing, poor service, long waits and no phone answers. Pretty sure we were overcharged too. Service was awful and our whole order was messed up. Showed up and notified our waitress that we wanted to enjoy a few beers/apps and then would order a few things to go for a family dinner at home. That did not compute; problem one. We ordered for in-house: - Pretzels. Took about 30-40 min and only rec'd right before our take-out. - A second round of (2) beers. Only rec'd one, no idea if we were charged for the other. - Wings. Never rec'd. Was told they sauced wrong and we'd get both orders (right and wrong) with our to-go order for free. Wings were never included. For takeaway: - Cheesesteak. Mostly onions. - French dip. No au jus included. Fortunately, our hosts had some to make. - Blue cheese pizza w/ meat on half. Meat on half but pizza cut other way so each piece had meat. - BBQ pizza. Not provided, this was replaced with an unknown mystery pizza. - Veggie pizza. Burnt. - 2 blackberry cobblers. These were not included, we had to turn around. I was advised they needed to bake and asked for a refund instead. At that time I was told they could provide to me if I baked at home (which we ultimately did). - And, as a reminder, never rec'd the aforementioned wings. Other problems: - We logged in for the 20% off club/text dealie. Pretty sure this was not applied. We tipped generously (ie tipped the normal amount + the 20% we assumed we had rec'd off); regret. - never rec'd an itemized receipt but crunched the #s later and the total matched our full order (ie: incl. the "free" mistake wings and no 20% off). - overall, mediocre food and looooong wait for in-house order. Got to our house and tried to call 3x for the missing items. Phone calls were never picked up and went straight to voicemail. We were visiting family from out of town; won't return and seriously considering contesting the charge as we never rec'd many of our items nor an itemized receipt. Really disappointing. read more

I took some friends here for lunch today. It seemed the perfect time to enjoy the potato soup (arguably the best potato soup this side of Germany). We also had the soft pretzels and the breadsticks (which are "pizza-esque"). Suddenly, it occurred to me that I'd never left a review on Yelp...so here goes. This restaurant isn't fancy, but the food is so good, and it has a homey feel to it that adds to the experience. I bring my exchange students here each year to get a feel for the best of "Small Town America," and the response is always two thumbs up. The pizzas and other main dishes are all very good. So is the assortment of beers (unbeknownst to the students). But truth be told, it's always the potato soup that wins hearts, and if it's paired with a soft pretzel with beer cheese sauce, you're in for a real treat. read more

Loved this place and would have given it one more star had it not been music bingo night. The sound was just too loud to carry a conversation, but hey it is a bar so ehhhh. I enjoyed it overall and service was great. Regarding food, my group ordered 4 different pizzas which all were delicious. As for the beer, my preference is the Atomic Amber but I didn't get a chance to get past that and so my assumption is based on the AA in that the rest is most likely as good.
