This is an amazing addition to Altus, and so different from anything else in town--sleek design, modern interior, clean and contemporary. There are shelves of branded gear like shirts, tumblers and teas. For seating, pick from a mix of bar height tables, two-seater spots and a living room-style lounge with a rug that looks like grass covering the sleek concrete floor. The menu might be like a simpler Starbucks--mochas, lattes, freezes and espresso--but it's revolutionary for a town dominated by fast food joints. The staff is friendly, though they do seem to be getting the hang of things still. Don't expect warp-speed ordering, but do expect a smile, and they don't mind if you stay a while. Maybe not the homiest nook, but definitely the coolest coffee shop. read more

Great service, good selections but pricey. They do have good selections to be honest though. I still like them but we've quit doing our 3-4 visits a week. Maybe once or twice a week visits nowadays at best, but our common modus operandi for the last six months or so have been about nil. Change and we'll be regulars. The 3% additional charge for using plastic is BS, too. Only in Altus is this practice happening. read more

Great place!! The first week they had some things to work out but unbelievable place this far. I go once/ day and like my coffee with a lot more milk (not half and half) than most. They caught on to this quickly and recognize me every time i walk in and make it perfectly for me every time. Very friendly staff and great coffee. They don't brew it weak like the "just brew it" coffee shop (who's staff is rude and coffee is weak) down the road. Best coffee shop in altus. Highly recommend white buffalo. read more

Awesome, veteran and locally owned, coffee shop. The prices are very reasonable and there is a wide assortment of drinks available! The building itself has a very cool design that adds to the already great atmosphere. Definitely 5 star worthy and completely recommend that everyone gives this place a visit! Overall, a decent experience. The store provides an adequate atmosphere for relaxing, working, and/or spending time with friends. There is free wifi available with an average download speed of 50Mbps. The house coffee is acceptable, but it's nothing to write home about. However, there are a some things that make this store unworthy of a five-star review: There are literally zero outlets for the customers. This was a bad decision on their part as it immediately eliminates the possibility of a percentage of their customers spending extended time in the store and making multiple purchases. As a student, there are times when I need a three-to-four hour study session. Being able to stay in one location is not only beneficial to me, but also to the store. The longer I am here, the more purchases I will make. The store has limited their selection of drip coffee to one choice. And as I stated previously, it is not even a noteworthy brew. There is not one type of customer, therefore, you should not have just one type of drip coffee (i.e. offer a selection of Light-Dark roasts). As well, they do not offer free refills on the drip coffee. Nor do they offer any sort of incentive program for loyal customers. This store has just recently opened, so hopefully they're still in the process of solidifying certain things and acquiring partnerships with different roasters. read more

This place is a breath of fresh air. I've met nothing but kind people in Altus. Don't get me wrong. This place is no different. The service is quick and friendly. However the atmosphere helps take it to the next level. It is one of few businesses that I've seen that take pride in an updated, CLEAN decor. I'm not impressed with the coffee. The music is loud and it's not a great place if you want mellow. However, they have great pastries and a modern atmosphere and non-traditional coffee options. I highly enjoy the aesthetic of this little shop. If you wanna check it out, please check out the inside. I love the various teas they serve. Their tea is worth hanging out inside for. You can watch it steep. It's a nice touch. In addition, they have the best coffee I've had thus far in Altus. The only downfall is the noisey teens that work there. It's a pretty good place for coffee, real similar to Starbucks as well as the prices, went to the location on across from Walmart.

My husband and I dropped by on a Saturday when we noticed the place had a soft opening going on but we arrived too late and they had already closed. Tried again today (after class) around 12:30 as it was the official grand opening and had the pleasure of meeting the staff and trying a snack and beverage. I asked if I could take pictures of the facility while I waited on a friend and the obliged so I got about 6 really good interior photos and uploaded them to Yelp. There's was plenty of positive chatter on Saturday while I was out shopping and people were recommending the brookie, a brownie with cookie dough layer. I went ahead and ordered one along with a Mocha Latte (they ran out of white chocolate), everything was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was relaxed with plenty of seating. I sat at the bar, facing the baristas and everyone was super friendly, asking us if we needed anything. There's a large table with at least 8 chairs in the far side of the building that would make an excellent study group spot or social seating area. Definitely quieter and more conducive for study compared to Just Brew It BUT I would say quality and service is excellent at both places. Can't wait to return and try a frozen green tea or coffee with soy. read more

White Buffalo has the best Chia Latte, it tastes like Horchata to me. The only negative is that they seem to burn the milk if you order it with almond milk (on the caramel macchiato or white buffalo mocha) so I just order regular milk now. But I still love the place and the environment. read more

I stopped by this shop while driving through for lunch. It has very limited food options and average coffee. It seems like a great shop for the smaller town of Altus, but I wasn't impressed. I ordered a vanilla latte (nothing special about it) and a jalepeno and cheese bagel (no butter, just cream cheese available). I was happy to find a more modern coffee place in this area, but I think they could add more to the menu! I will say, the staff was extremely upbeat and happy to help which is much appreciated! read more

Fantastic place. The service is fast and extremely friendly. The building inside is very clean, nice and new, a great place to talk, do work, read, etc. The coffee is good and the hours are the best in town. The only drawback is there aren't really any plugs in the seating area so charge your computer, phone, etc before you show up. read more

If you are in Altus, you go here. Best coffee in town that can hold its own against some of the bigger guys out there. It might have the best location or parking, but they are quick and accommodating and they have the best coffee, tea, and pastries. My family loves it there and we frequent it often. read more
