I have full coverage with my insurance but ever time I go to the urgent care or the er I get a bill and have to spend 1 to 4 hours on the phone with these idiots. They have both my cards on file but they only bill one then I have to take the time and call them and deal with there bs just so they can submit it to my other insurance company. My son decided to crack his head open on the corner of a bed this morning, I have four toddlers and frantically got them to the closest hospital by myself. They kindly glued my one year-old's forehead back together and helped me get my children back to the car. What logically would have been extremely chaotic and horrible they made as stressless as possible and were extremely kind and helpful. I took my brother there today for a procedure, I have to say I was a bit nervous because I have not heard many good things about this hospital. That was not the case today! Carrie the nurse was absolutely wonderful and so was the tech Misty! Extremely nice and welcoming. And then walked in Charlie the anesthesiologist and he was awesome! Very nice guy and funny! After all that Dr.Murray came in and he was super nice and funny too! The drive back home my brother and I went on and on about how nice they were. I have never been treated so kindly at a hospital or even doctors office for that matter. I will definitely go back in the future and hope I get the same experience as today! Worst hospital I have ever dealt with. My child was running fever complaining of migraine at 8. She was sick prior so I took her here to get looked at. ER check on. Great. Get called to the back and I stepped into hell. Rude right from the start. As a mom. Listen to me when I say I know how my child is. Have respect for that. Embrace that bc it will help you and the child. They put her in a room freezing cold. Hard chair to sit in and a light so bright even I couldn't bare it let alone a child w a migraine. Long story short. Lack of procedures and policies on health and safety measures is not even close to there. Knowledge on medicine and what to say. At minimum. Bedside manner. They have none. I actually left before we were finished with my child bc the nurse proceeded to come in and tell me she forgot to send my daughters labs back 30 mins ago so it will be another 45 to hour in this dunnagen called a room. Then acts like it's funny and no big deal. Worry more about your job and the oath you took to the people who trust you know what your doing then to altering your work uniform to fit your religious beliefs. And how is that even possible if God is the ultimate healer! Are you taking modern medicine seriously bc of this!!! My child is the test subject for your whatever you decide when you decide. Not ok! Shame on this hospital. Learn! Just learn to do better. Drs there too. Your just as cold and inconsistent. They were so pushy about saying my daughter probably just had strep throat. Shoving the Popsicle stick down her throat 3 times. The nurse out of pocket even saying she seen a blister. You did all that and now you have to swab her for COVID and strep. Both which were negative. So them I'm told it's viral we don't know basically. We only test for the severe stuff. That was what I went to the ER for. Nothing. Hell. Unnecessary ridiculous slack. I will drive 2 hours if I have to to avoid this trap. Everyone hates this place. So many complaints as soon as you mention this hospital. Shame bc it was nice to have something closer. read more

Lord knows, my neighbors can't trash talk this place enough, and we've been warned a million times that if we have an emergency, we should drive to Lafayette because White County Memorial Hospital will kill us. We've been to the emergency room because my friend had a urinary tract infection. It's not hard to diagnose and write a prescription for so it suited my friend in her time of need. There was no one else in the emergency room at that time. We were in and out in 45 minutes. We have also used the walk-in clinic because of a severe sinus infection. We saw a nurse within 25 minutes, and she quickly gave my SO a once over. She wrote a prescription and suggested he use a neti pot. The pill was great, but the neti pot was a disaster for him. It caused his already bloody nose to spout more blood and hurt like h*ll when the saline, blood and stuff came gushing out. The facilities are brand new, spacious and kept very tidy. The landscaping is beautiful and as far as facilities go, much larger and nicer than I expect a small town like Monticello to have. If I had an emergency though, I would go and ask them to stabilize me and drive back home to Chicago, but that's only because I want to be close to home and use my normal hospital, Northwestern. read more

I took my son (2yrs old) to the walkin clinic, he was shaking and we didnt know why. I was completely blown off by the M.D. there. This doctor wasnt even willing to check my sons blood sugar to see if that was the problem. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I will never trust my familys care with this clinic again! read more

They're part of IU Health now and after my wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the bills got extremely high we were told to fill out an application for financial assistants so we did and they told us we were approved for 100% financial assistance through the end of the year and whenever we had a bill from them just call and it would be paid. So when we called on the first of May this year for a $1000 bill that was left after insurance they told us we had to fill out another application and whoever told us we were approved through the end of the year was wrong. Three people told us we were approved through the end of the year and when one young guy says no we aren't, they make us do it all over again. If we had known this we would have gone to Franciscan in Lafayette where we were approved already. read more
