This distillery is interesting because they were the largest mail order alcohol provider back in the 1800s. The owner showcased some of their classic whiskeys between their bourbons and their ryes then brought us back to the barrels that you can bottle from and gave us a tasting to help us choose which barrels we would want to bottle. I ended up blending two barrels for an incredibly smooth bourbon that I'm excited to open up! We ended with a couple more tastings to choose between the maple rye and maple bourbon. We left with a couple bottles and an experience that we won't forget! The space is extremely small but I felt like it helped with the intimate experience.
