Nearly left when we pulled up because the strip mall is not very impressive. But the offerings here are actually quite good. My almond milk cappuccino was closer to authentic than you typically find in the US. The breakfast burrito was huge, totally shareable, and I love that they had a vegan version. Great quality ingredients. Tasty salsa. There are 2 small tables outdoors that actually have a relaxing mountain view as well (past the parking lot). My primary complaint is the steep nondairy charge. It's the highest I've ever seen at $1.30 - why? This area is so crunchy I rather expected an upcharge for dairy milk. read more

White Dove is our favorite coffee shop in Flagstaf, hands down! The coffee itself is delicious, and the specialty offerings as well - the Revelation and the Oak Creek Mocha are favorites of ours. The inside is cozy and cute, too - the dinosaur mural is hilarious every time! Their Wi-Fi is good, too, so it is easy to come in and work. To top it all off, they usually have at least one gluten free pastry on offer (sometimes more!) Everyone who has taken our order is super kind, and coffee and food are delivered speedily. Comfort is key here at White Dove Coffee Shop. Stopped off here while I was in town and enjoyed a coffee and a bagel. The bagel was very fresh and good. They had an assortments of pastries to enjoy. They also offer several coffee and teas. I had a mocha and it was flavorful and rich. The inside has many comfortable chairs and sofas. Each seating area has a table and several people were working on their laptops. There is art on the walls from local artists as well. The staff was kind and the service was prompt. It is situated inside of a strip mall with free parking. My only recommendation would be that it felt like there was no style or direction. Perhaps some new paint, cohesive materials, and a theme could make it a more serene or interesting place to hang. The staff, food, and drinks are good, but the inside isn't something that would draw a lot of people in. read more

Don't let the shopping center that White Dove is in fool you! This place is a super cute hang out! It has a real artsy feel with lots of space to hang out on your own or catch up with friends! Not only do they have great beverages, but they also have a nice variety of tasty food! Loved the Blackbird sandwich! Roast beef, Swiss cheese, green chilies, tomato, onion, mustard and mayo on rye bread served hot! With a pickle, it hit the spot! The dark chocolate pumpkin mocha was delicious! Perfect for Fall! I was in Flagstaff for the weekend and tried White Dove for the first time. Once entering, the space is pretty big to study or hang out with friends. The drinks-- there wasn't many specials. I tried the Promise Land latte. It tasted basic, no special taste. My partner tried a regular caramel latte, which I tried, which was also basic. I also tried the blueberry muffin (which I believed was gluten free), and a turkey chili croissant. They were okay, the muffin had a weird gummy feel, I'm not sure if that's how gf muffins are. Lastly, the service could have been better, the barista was not really welcoming, and I believe the owner was also there, but was minding his own business. But it is nice that they sell other small local artists items such as earrings, shirts/sweater, and cups. read more

Super cute spot! The fireplace and sitting area have great vibes. I ordered a vanilla latte and the avocado toast. They offer salt & pepper, everything bagel and chili lime on the toast. I did all and would definitely recommend. It's not super extravagant but it's nice and flavorful. My boyfriend got apple cider, which I personally think is a serial killer move, but he claims it was good. Idk if you can trust a serial killer tho. The scone was much more muffin like but delicious. What a cute place! If you've been to campus coffee bean, it's a really similar vibe. There's a small stage, and today we had the pleasure of seeing a local music program for kids performing. Really neat little coffee shop that screams "Flagstaff." It is tucked into a strip mall off of 7th Street and 4th Street, you wouldn't really know it's there unless you're looking. The inside was warm and cozy, and you can tell it's a nice quiet place to work or chat with a friend. I appreciate that, especially since all Starbucks in town seem to be crowded, no seating, and really commercial/unfriendly. I love a good hometown coffee shop. read more

Kind of an unsuspecting location but, worth a stop for sure! We actually popped in because our kids were getting haircuts at the barbershop next door. They were super friendly and helped us make decisions because it was our first time there. They had delicious coffee choices and smoothies too. The kids are all little and I didn't want to get each of them a 12 or 16oz smoothie so they offered to split a larger smoothie into 3 separate cups for us which I thought was so thoughtful. We didn't sit to enjoy our drinks but the coffee shop is actually quite large so it would be a great meeting spot for social or work purposes too. We will definitely be back! read more

My husband and I have been to this coffee shop twice. We are very impressed with the coffee, food, service and ambiance. This is a neighborhood coffee bar set in a small shopping center on a quiet street. There is ample parking. There is ample indoor seating. There are three tables outside; the outdoor seating would not experience much traffic noise. The first time we visited we had coffee and excellent pastry. We split the Triple Berry cake and the Cinnamon Walnut coffee cake. Both were moist and tasty. We did not try their Banana Nut Bread. They also had a few cookies. On our first visit I had an Oak Creek latte with white chocolate and blackberry. I normally don't drink sweetened lattes, but I saw their chalkboard menu and thought it sounded good. It was great. My husband enjoyed his medium roast drip coffee. On our second visit I had a Breakfast Crepe with scrambled egg, bacon, tomato, cheese and a sauce drizzle. It was excellent. On our second visit my husband had a Breakfast Sandwich croissant (choice of bread or bagel) with eggs, ham, cheddar cheese and Jalapeño. It was very good. Our breakfasts were served on colorful patterned pottery plates. The shop has an eclectic collection of plates; ours had flower designs. On our second my husband had medium roast coffee and I had two lattes. My lattes came with pretty patterns in the foam. The beverages came in mismatched colorful patterned mugs. The shop offers a variety of milks for lattes. I had whole. I know they also have almond and oat. White Dove is a nice relaxing place to read. Several customers brought their laptops. It's a lovely coffee shop to sit down to journal, read, draw, the works, with plenty of seating and I'm assuming wifi with how many computers I saw. Their breakfast burrito is probably THE best coffee shop breakfast burrito I've tried. After countless premade, dry, flaky coffee shop burritos I was hankering for one to hit the spot. Good, but disappointing for what an independent shop should/could be. Staff was quite friendly, but unfortunately not well versed in artisan coffee. Coffee was competent and good, but not noteworthy. On the plus side, (besides the pleasant staff), the triple berry cake (?) was quite good. Really delicious and well balanced in flavor, tender and moist on the inside, with a little crumb on the outside. For the coffee, I tried to order a "traditional cappuccino", but was met with the all too familiar, "would you like an 8, 12, or 16 ounce?". I patiently explained what a traditional cappuccino was, and for the second cappuccino, I'd like only a single shot of espresso. For some inexplicable reason, the young man still made both cappuccinos with the same amt of espresso. And he tried explaining why they were the same despite me being fairly specific as to the difference that I wanted for the second one. So, nice shop, fairly decent coffee, very good pastry that we had, friendly (but not knowledgeable) staff. read more
