Awesome place nestled in a nursery. I wasn't sure what to expect. Went for coffee and went on an adventure. Had to wait to get the coffee and it unlocked an amazing experience. I wish I lived there so I could go immediately back home to plant all the things I wanted to buy. Even if you don't get any plants, trees or flowers you can still enjoy it. First of all, the atmosphere was fantastic. I love that this place is attached to a Nursery, as it truly added to the relaxing, refreshing vibe. I found the prices to be high, but I was ready to splurge a little for a "fancy coffee". Sadly, my choice was too sweat for me and I was disappointed. My hubby had a basic Americano and he enjoyed it - said it was very smooth. Service was ok - the gal, who appeared to be new, didn't smile or make eye contact; perhaps she was just nervous. I've seen Dottie's in passing and always told myself I should try it, but I never did until I was looking at the top rated coffee shops with my friend. We were completely sure that we had tried every top rated coffee shop in flagstaff, but knew we had to try Dottie's when we saw the good reviews. Dottie's has such a laid back and casual atmosphere considering it is located within a nursery, but there's nothing casual about the quality of their drinks. I got an iced chai latte with almond milk, and my friend got one of their matcha specials, both were surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because I think the employees work at both the nursery and coffee shop, so I thought maybe they were just making drinks because they had to? Apparently I was wrong! Such a cute little spot to check out! An unexpected hidden find inside a nursery. Service was great, the woman behind the counter today was very nice and made for easy conversation. We had a few questions and she accommodated any requests we had when ordering. I enjoyed a mocha latte with yummy oat milk and was also introduced to what's called a dirty chai. From out of state and saw this place on instagram, instantly knew I had to stop by. It is ADORABLE! Coffee is quite good, I got a large oat milk latte with butter pecan and my boyfriend got an americano. Very affordable as well. Behind the counter is a big surprise wrapped in a little package. This package is Jesse. Each time I'm in AZ I stop here and he always makes my latte just the way I like it. If you take a moment to just observe the care and thoughtfulness he puts into making your drink, you'll know just why he gets it right... He practices, and he remembers you. He will be direct, ask you what you like and how you want it made, and you will see him making sure the plant nursery has his attention too. Dottie's is special, and so are the people like Patrick, Erin, Jesse, and all. You'll feel like you've walked into a magical place, and for me a lovely place for using my imagination. So buy plants, yet also stop by this little gem of a coffee shop, and hopefully you'll get to taste the gluten free cookies and other pastries. Keep up the good work guys. I love visiting. read more

It's a coffee shop AND a plant store, you can get a bev and peruse the plants or find a cute place to sit out around the garden. My personal favorite is definitely the bench by the fish pond. It's so peaceful, I can spend hours here. read more

Treating some amazing girls (ages 6-12) to a snow day, we came up from The Phoenix Valley one Saturday. From the first email communication to see if Dottie's Garden Shop was willing to serve a bunch of rowdy girls hot cocoa to warm up, I grew excited for our visit. Caitlin was not only accommodating but reassuring that they would love to host our group! The hot chocolate was perfect to warm up our girls, and the selection of drinks was a hit with the adults in our group as well. I go to Warner's nursery ALL the time when planting season is here, and when I go with my wife and kids, we stop at Dotties. My wife is the coffee queen so whenever we go run errands, I can count on a few extra calories and caffeine in my diet for the day! Not that I'm complaining! The team here always makes a really tasty latte. They honor our Warners garden club too and we get a dollar off! So, not only is it delicious, we get a cheaper coffee than almost anywhere else in town! They have a really nice little patio too, and you can't beat cruising through the garden with an awesome coffee. They also have smoothies which they are happy to whip up for the kids- they are big so we ask to just have one big smoothie split into three small cups and they do so happily! This little coffee shop is a hidden gem! read more

Very cute little spot in a gardening store. We had an iced mocha and iced hazelnut latte. Both were great. Not much seating but had a nice outdoor area. Was a nice stop on the way out of town. Only reason for 4/5 stars is that I asked for non-fat and the barista made them with regular milk. He did offer to remake them though which was nice. read more

Charming, nice coffee, lovely people (one of the staff was from our home town, Charlottesville!) great stop off the I-40. After driving for hours it's good to stop and breathe some good oxygen, and where better than a plant nursery? If I lived locally I would really enjoy shopping for the garden here. An autumnal crabapple weighted with red berries was a perfect backdrop to our caffeine fix for the morning. Our golden-doodle was adored and his water bowl filled. A very therapeutic stop. read more

As far as I know this is the best deal in Flagstaff you can find. The cafe is surprising roomy and lends itself to be a good work environment. I find it easy and productive to work there. I like to check out the books/games/movies around the main store when I feel I need a break. The staff really make the space. I've only had positive interactions with all the workers. They are very genuine people who I love to talk to. I feel very welcomed whenever I come in.
