Once again Erin has done a fantastic job! I can't overstate how much I LOVE this shop. I called 3 days before valentine's day to purchase a birthday arrangement for a girlfriend. I knew that valentine's day is the busiest day for florists and had only a glimmer of hope that I might be so lucky to get something nice on such short notice. Our wedding was this past April 28th and I can say without a doubt that the floral aspect was one of THE MOST amazing experiences when having white fig designs handle our wedding. Throughout the entire process Erin and her team were amazing. From the drawing board to the cleanup of when the party is over. Today I received a bouquet that my husband had ordered for my 32nd wedding anniversary. He has sent me bouquets every year for various occasions and this is by and far the loveliest of all! I am pretty sure that the designer took artistic license because my husband usually sends bouquets with a lot of roses. Thank God she did embellish because this bouquet has peonies, tulips, roses, queen Anne's lace, hydrangeas.....Even the greenery is varied and gorgeous! Quick Version: Great work, friendly and humble florist, way under priced Long Version: So here is a flowers review from the guy perspective. My fiancé and I went to White Fig's shop. The shop is small occupying an old motel that was converted into store fronts. The shop is refreshing and the air is cold and clean. It feels like you are walking through a forest. Greenery is every where, sprouting out of old chicken feeders and pots. Besides the florals she sell random lip balms, and slaves. Flannel shirts and little keep sakes. Erin welcomed us and made us feel at home. She is sorta like the Hippie mother I know and love, the exact kinda personality you would envision the perfect florist to have. We chose Erin for our florals, primarily because of all the weddings we have been to, Erin's were the best. I was expecting to spend an arm and a leg on florals but Erin is beyond reasonable and she delivers a superior product. When I say superior, and best let me quantify it. As a guy... who dosn't know a Posey from a Petunia I took notice of Erin's flowers. The colors are beautiful and the arrangements are unique. Guys. This is not the flower shop you stop by on the way home when you know you are in trouble, and judging from the one star reviews on this page those people clearly did not appreciate what White Fig is. They seem to have wanted Fosters Freeze when they walked into a gourmet ice creamery. Folks this is the shop you go to when you really want to make a statement. Erin doesn't do the already dead and dyeing roses that were picked up at the flower market two days ago. This is the shop you stop by ahead of time to order a work of art for your girl. This is the place you go to when you want your event to be decorated like something other than your high school formal. Here's the thing. Erin, who IS White Fig, is a super-sweet and super-awesome lady. She's also super-talented; a true artist when it comes to floral design. She did all the flowers for our wedding at the Shakespeare Club in Pasadena, and they looked beautiful. Our boutonnieres were simple and classic, the bouquets were elegant and colorful, and all the other settings and designs were equally masterful. I can't recommend White Fig highly enough. Wow talk about unprofessional, I was referred to Erin @ White Fig Designs after seeing her work in a local hair salon that is her client. I needed a very special bouquet, and I did not specify price or time line in the message I left for her on a Monday. I waited instead of calling the thousands of other florist online, and at least 10 local ones. I had heard such wonderful things about her. I called today around 11 AM and said Hello I left a message yesterday and was instantly cut off and told "I just walked in the door and I heard your message and I can not do anything for you before Friday". I said ok, thank you and hung up. I never had a chance to say another word. She was so RUDE and left such a bad taste in my mouth. I will be sure to tell everyone I know in the Santa Clarita Valley not to bother her, she is too busy and making too much money already.
