Addendum post to owner as of 3/10/2023 This past year and (almost) 1/2 you kept going to the same supplier who was sending not even close to matching pieces of 7 foot stair nose. Telling us you're not responsible for it that you are simply the middle man. The manufacturer is responsible for it. We soli interfaced with your manager representing your company. We have never spoken to the owner until the posting of this review. You are in fact 100 percent responsible for the completion of our job. It is the responsibility of the owner or it's representative to assure that you are capable of getting all matching pieces and wood grain within it's color lot to complete the job before accepting it and providing a timeframe when it would be completed. When we spoke on the phone last night9 3-9-23), your greatest concern was "you are destroying my company over a piece of molding. Your greatest concern wasn't that our job has taken well over a year to get accomplish when promised six weeks - your greatest concern was all about you, and you know it. Your main concern was your reputation. As a matter of fact, you said to me: "You are destroying my companies reputation over a piece of molding". My response back to you was: "It may be just a piece of molding to you until it becomes your piece of molding" (you then hung the phone up on me) This is almost a 7 foot piece of molding in between two 7 foot pieces that do not match. When the sun comes in off the ocean and hits that wood it looks awful! This is not what we agreed to and we will not accept it.. It should be criminal that you have put us in such a mental state to where we have to do something like this to get our flooring completed. Our one and only phone call, you literally begged me to remove my review, at which point I told you I would not until out job is complete and after my mental anguish has settled down. Perhaps in a year. To be exact this cost us $52,641.91 between you and the company you chose to install your product. Your wood product should be your masterpiece where it speaks volumes of your company. Sadly in our case it is not. I'd be utterly embarrassed trying to justify your actions at this point. If you choose to continue, I will continue with the entire series of actions that will bring in your installers. Please put your justifying energy into doing the right thing owner and get our job completed! That is all we ever wanted. We are gravely disappointed.

Some were done by the previous owners of my home who had used him, and they had recommended him to me after a small flood ruined the laminates. They have installed the tile in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry, and engineered wood planks throughout the rest of the layout. They are absolutely gorgeous and my feet are so happy! Next week they're modifying the kitchen cabinets with drawers and installing a new kitchen backsplash. I highly recommend this company.

Beware! We had Heller do a large custom kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. The primary reason for the 2…read morerating, is they've refused to address an improper install on an under the sink slide out drawer. A clearance of 1/16" was all that was left between the slide out and the sink P-trap. The drawer should have been installed lower, or a notch cut for allow proper clearance. Heller had denied all responsibility, and refuse to answer my request to speak with the owner. The P-trap shifted, hitting the drawer, caused a leak, and ruined it. There was also a few other issues that Heller wasn't customer focused on: install of the light rail (insisted that leaving a gap/caulking vs. notching of this feature normal, it is not! After back and forth, they agreed to do it correctly, and it was simple and looks great), and a few drawers that auto close/fit isn't correct on that they insist is "normal". Cabinet quality is fine, but NO true customer service. I'll add this was a $50K book of business. I would not recommend.

I would urgently advise anyone even considering Lafferty for any type of work, to do due diligence…read moreand look elsewhere. I have many photos of careless work, failure to clean up not only construction debris , but personal items such as cigarettes, lunch containers, water and cola bottles. Also, at the end of everyday there were screws, screening, etc. left in the bottom of the pool. I had asked for a cover for this exact reason-possible rust stains- and was told that the crew is VERY careful and checks everyday. However, nothing such as a shop vac or even a broom was ever brought to the site. My pool person left several pieces of equipment for scooping out the bottom and she changed the filter to run after work hours throughout the night so the workers could see what needed to be taken out on a daily basis. Then there is the final result- obviously, someone from Lafferty measured incorrectly because after 22 years of a straight back cage wall, I now have a slanted one that, in effect, presents an appearance of an uneven slant that is very noticeable. Also, the vertical bars that abutted each side of the raised fountain area are off kilter- one abuts and the other is about 10" off to the right. I will need to have a new pool deck installed; they don't tell you that they will not follow the original vertical locations nor cover them with the new construction. The first inspection failed because there were many areas that needed change to make the cage stronger. A second inspection has not been done. I suppose it's 'looser' in Brevard County than Indian River. HOWEVER, I was emailed today in response to my request to adjust the screen door-huge gaps- that Lafferty will not do anymore work until the final payment is made! A workman told me that Lafferty has been fined several times. I certainly wish I had known that before agreeing to this project, Outwardly, the salesman appears very knowledgeable and promised me that the cage would be the same design but with much better materials. That's what I asked for and the drawings supported that. This company has never understood the concept of trying to make the customer happy. Nor do the owners have much integrity, from what I wrote above to notarizing a document that contained my signature but not in my presence nor with my permission.

They wasted no time to get their deposit however from that day on until yesterday the communication between the office workers and us the customer was poor. It took them two weeks to get back with us when they were going to come out to do the work. I was told they would call the day before they come out without as much thought as to the customer schedule. When my husband called to get a definitive date the woman Ar---- put him on hold and basically to his understanding forgot about the follow up. When I finally got the phone message they would come out Tuesday but to call them back before 5 pm to confirm which I did. My husband also got a call twice from them and a woman named As--- told him they would be at the house between 9 and 11 am Tuesday. I waited until mid morning and called them to see what the holdup was. I spoke with Ar that it was going to be the afternoon before anyone was to come. By this time I was so angry having to wait when they changed the schedule without notification. I spoke with Br ------who just gave me another excuse that As ----was not the person to make the decision on the schedule. Why and How would my husband know the time unless he was informed by someone in the clueless office people?? They need to get their brains together and have one delegated informed individual to deal with customers. The way I see it they were very prompt with getting their money but piss poor on office management.
