This was our first stop on our two weeks in Bermuda. The service was terrible!!!! When gratuity is already included the servers seem to care less once you get your food. No one ever came back to check on us. I would have liked extra rum and peppers for my soup. NOPE. Never got them cause no one ever came back. Needless to say, we encountered many locals over our two weeks who said they would eat elsewhere. Once and done!!!!

Food was marvelous. Very tasty and I will be returning to the wharf again in the near future.

We arrived at the end of a personized tour and our guide, knowing our interest in history, told us to try for a waterview table to see the dunking. That turned out to be a recreation of an incident when the town tattletale is thrown in the river by the town cryer. This is the oldest pub in Bermuda and it has aged well. We shared the traditional fish sandwich and listened to the quiet folk singers songs from our era. The fish sandwich was magnificent, washed down with a swizzle. It was all perfect.

Great spot in St George's with lots of local beers. One word of caution is the female bartender had a bit of an attitude with outsiders.

This restaurant was a recommendation by one of our tour guides for lunch and it was delicious! Service was quick and we got to sit right by the water and watch the fish swim by. Prices are high but that's because you are on an island in the middle of the Atlantic :) there was even a cool dance floor in the center area inside. Portions are nicely sized (the fish and chips had 3 huge pieces of fish!) so I would consider sharing if you aren't super hungry!

Really good food! Beautiful spot on the water with a nice view and nice breeze when seated outside. There are indoor seats as well. Service was excellent. Lots of vegetarian options. Fish sandwich was really excellent on raisin bread, who knew?

Had a good meal. I had a burger and fries. Very good. We sat outside, service was fast and friendly. Apparently it is a world heritage site in St. George's.

Excellent location along the water. Sitting outside on the covered deck, there is a nice cool breeze on a hot day. The food is always great, especially the wahoo. Try the fish tacos with grilled wahoo or the new cauliflower bites. Also, the Bermuda Triangle Long Island was so smooth - a great version of a classic with local spirits - it had a nice buttery finish.

We just had a few hours in St. George's......so we had to try the local drink; the Rum Swizzle. We stopped into the White Horse Pub because it was convenient and not too crowded. It wasn't easy getting the bartender's attention even though the bar was 1/2 empty. We finally got his attention and got 2 Rum Swizzles to go. They were good; but nothing spectacular.

Food is solid compared to two other restaurants in the area. Lobster is good and so is the service.

We've been here before for vacations, but haven't stayed in St George's. This time we wanted to concentrate on activities and restaurants at this end of the island and Wahoo's was high on our list. It's a perfect way to launch our vacation. Bermuda fish stew is the best, so of course we started with that and two dark and stormys. Important to the enjoyment of the stew is the sherry peppers sauce. My gosh that stuff is good. I want to buy some to take home. I could just eat the stew and be satisfied. For entrees I got the fried fish sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato on raisin bread toasted. You have to get the tartar sauce to complete it. It was good but the piece of fish was too small for the amount of bread. My husband got rockfish pan fried with beans and rice and Cole slaw. All of his meal was good but the beans and rice were my favorite. My fish sandwich came with fries and I wish I had substituted the beans and rice. Wahoo's is a great spot and it's popular. There was a cruise ship docked at the Dockyards, so there were a ton of cruise ship tourists out and about. Wahoo's had a crowd! We watched one table of four come and sit down, look at the menu and then leave. Food is expensive in Bermuda and I think they got a bit of sticker shock from the prices. For me it's worth it.

The outside deck upstairs was open, so we could enjoy the view of Hamilton Harbour. We had drinks, and shared a pesto flatbread, fish chowder, and poke bowl. The flatbread was very good, the chowder was OK, and the poke bowl was also good (although the rice was definitely not Japanese but likely instant). Decent drinks menu with good selection of booze, wine and beer. Service was attentive and friendly. Water and cocktails were served in Gosling's 'rum barrel' glasses, which the bar was selling for $10 each. Turns out that the Gosling's outlet down the street sells them for $9, but had none in stock, so I was glad we bought them when we did.

The waiter was a tad bit aggressive with his service in the beginning then got pretty quiet just dropping things onto the table and then disappeared when we wanted our bill. Don't know if he was annoyed I didn't order a drink with dinner or that I didn't order more food, but I looked past that since I was excited to finally get a good meal. I ordered the Bermuda fish chowder which I have been wanting to try since in Bermuda. It wasn't what I was expecting as far as presentation - I pictured while pieces of seafood in my mind, but instead it was grounded together kinda like a meat sauce made from fish. I added lemon which made it more flavorful. It was good. (Forgot to take a photo) My friend ordered the salmon which she said was good. It looked good from what I saw. I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered the soup. We ordered the cheesecake which was so so good. It was better than some of the cheesecake I've gotten in nyc.
