We were staying at airport hotel and wanted something other than sanitized hotel restaurant. White horse has a hotel pickup service (free). Neil picked my family and us up within 15 minutes and was very friendly. We had several pints and nice meal. Exactly what you expect from a pub, prices are a bit higher than traditional one, but you are next to airport... With kids they would not let us in the main part of the pub, but were quite comfortable in the "adjacent building/room" which is also "traditional". If you have a long layover I would recommend giving them a call!!! read more

Very good pub. Only two ales on tap but other is 6X, props. Food is great but my portion had an accident happen to it, likely outside of their control. They handled it well. Amazing thing: free pickup and return taxi service. Why not 5 stars? Dislike they should play R&B crap in a pub from 16th century. No music would be better, no R&B would be best. You get a mix of locals and LHR layoverers. But that's cool. read more

Late night arrival into Heathrow. Checked into the White Horse Bed and Breakfast across the street before heading to the pub across the street for a couple of pints and some bangers and mash. Great local pub atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Bangers were good as well as the curry chicken my son had. Will definitely make this my go to spot at Heathrow. THE pub to go to when in the area or staying close to Heathrow. Great food, quaint, 500 years old, and the friendliest, most inviting waitstaff in the area. Wonderful beer garden as well. Yes, they will take you home after a few pints. In fact, they'd rather do that to continue chatting than see you off from the bar. That about tells you what you the atmosphere is. read more

Suprisingly good pub for somewhere so close to the airport. Good atmosphere. Pub dates back to the 18th Century, with pleasant outside seating area if weather ok. Food is standard english pub grub, a little dated given the gastro pub quality food appearing in my pubs nowadays. Food is plentiful and good value (prices range from £5-10) if the menu is a little limited. Staff freindly and welcoming, beer ok. Overal one of the nicest pubs in the area. If you are in the area waiting for a flight out of Heathrow, this is the one to head for outside the airport campus (5 mins on bus#423 to/from Heathrow Terminal 5) read more
