I brought my new-ish push mower in for a carb problem. When I picked it up, they charged me for a bunch of stuff I didn't ask for and didn't need. When I picked it up ($165 later) it still didn't run. The issue is ongoing with them. I should have read the other reviews. read more

Umm, I don't know. For now 2 stars though I may give them another shot in the future and raise my star if the service is better. The folks here were very friendly and setting up service, dropping off items, etc. were all easy enough. It's just that it took like almost two months in the middle of peak mowing season to get a basic repair done on my mower(s) when I used them. It was a simple enough fix...I even mentioned what I believed the problem was at drop-off. But, rather than check and assess the item they waited over two weeks then discovered I had been correct and then ordered the part(s), etc. And they were really lacking in communication as I called to check the status every 4 or 5 days just to see what was going on and never got a call initiated by them although at one point they claimed they'd called me to notify me my item(s) were ready (no missed call, no voicemail). read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. First of all I have known the Williams for 20 or so years, so when my mower was in need of repair I immediately came to White House Small Engine Repair. This was in Aug 2022 when I had found that the business had been sold to someone else. I had no problem having my mower being repaired as I thought the same type of quality service would still remain. Boy was that an underestimation. First of all my mower came in to be repaired Aug. 16, 2022. It had been there about a week when I called to find out the status and was given and estimate for parts and labor. I authorized this repair. After another week I called back for a status and was told that they were still waiting on my authorization. My authorization was never conveyed delaying the repair. Okay, I was fine with that. Then I was told all parts were in stock and would be ordered. Another week went by and it still had not been repaired. Finally got my mower back Sept 22, 2022 a month later. I was told all was good and it tested fine. Well, the mower was not fully repaired. The belt kept coming off after only two days. I called and had it returned for proper repair. Taylor called me and said that the brackets for the pulley were not done. Seriously, Tech 22 did this first repair and it is quite obvious that this tech only did a halfway repair to just get by and hopefully the belt issue would not occur until maybe a month later and any guarantee of workmanship would be over. I was then told by Tayor, well it had a damaged bracket and we just did not replace them. This is completely absurd as to why a complete repair was not done. I will never ever be doing business here again and will never recommend to anyone. It is just a shame that a well known decades old business is now crap. You can look up my invoice WO109186. Tech 22 did the work and should not be doing any repairs of any kind as it is plainly obvious he does his job halfway. The second invoice is WO109393 and No Tech is listed. I do have one praise to the fact that your Delivery/Pickup guy Jeremy is absolutely fabulous and very professional and should be acknowledge his great service. Any decent repair shop will fix your equipment, but the staff, service, and quality of products offered at this shop are what make the difference. You will have a hard time finding a better place in White House to call your landscaping equipment home after you visit this place and meet the people. We couldn't be more grateful to have found the staff at White House Small Engine Repair. We recently moved from the west coast where landscaping was limited and cost effective landscapers were plentiful. Moving to middle-TN was a bit of a change. The property we have was a .5 acres of lawn, mostly flat but seemingly huge for someone who used to use a reel mower... After researching options, we ended up on the fence between a zero-turn or the exciting Auto Mower from Husqvarna. We knew we liked the brand already so it was simply a matter of being able to see and touch these options in person because what crazy person would buy a robot without seeing it working? We traveled the hour drive one way just to go see it in action and get hands on with both choices. When we came in we were treated like family and Brad and his brother were both keen to explain all of the pros/cons/experiences they have had. Brad even recommended a great steakhouse for lunch so we could discuss amongst ourselves before committing to the purchase. We chose the Auto Mower and took on the task of installing it ourselves. Brad and his family were there to help in every step of the way. He even recommended that I wait to purchase my battery powered weed whip until it went on sale in two weeks! When I added the Auto Connect module to the Auto Mower, they installed it and had it ready to go so quickly. Lastly, when the we had a tragic incident of a car destroying our Auto Mower (we were parked on the lawn), Brad was able to hook us up with the repairs necessary and offered us their shop mower to fill in the downtime for the repairs. Top notch customer service, knowledge, communication and repairs make this worth the round trip haul and we won't take our money anywhere else! Thanks White House Small Engine Repair!
