I had an issue with my TroyBilt Riding mower and took it to these folks based on some word of mouth recommendations. I am so glad I did! Mike and Dwain went above and beyond to not only replace my carburetor (the issue I called for) but also charged my battery, when I'd wouldn't hold a charge- they gave me a new one, and put a gas cut off on my gas line to avoid more carburetor issues in the future. I am very satisfied with the outcome and the communication from these guys. I believe they only take cash. For diagnostic and everything else I was charged $200 read more

I knew I found my place when they had a great looking Honda ATC 200 in the mix. Mike and Dwain are top shelf people who know their craft and care about their customers. Mike let me ride a few different mowers to compare with the one I came to look at. I'm very happy with the condition of my mower, the price I paid, and way I was treated. It's nice to know where I can take other small engine issues I may have in the future. If you're in the Gallatin/Hendersonville area and need mower/small engine work, give these guys a call! read more

I called M.A.D. Mower Repair (Dwain) for help because admittedly, I broke the oil filter on my riding mower. Mind you, this was the only issue with this mower. It ran perfectly otherwise. 1. Dwain charged me $500 and said he fixed the problem. 2. After running it for 30 minutes, it breaks down in smoke and the engine starts shaking like crazy. I turn the mower off and call Dwain. He says someone will pick it up and take a look at it. They pick it up and drop it back off and said it was fixed. 3. I run the mower again for 30 minutes and the SAME EXACT issue happens again. I call Dwain, frustrated, to ask what was going on and if there was any way to get a refund because it had been a month since I had originally brought it to him. 4. Dwain ghosts me and doesn't return calls or texts... 5. I text Dwain from a different number and he tells me this verbatim "You've destroyed two good engines - can't give you another- mower worked perfect both times I repaired it" 6. Ceases to reply to me when I asked him if we could talk it out over the phone. 7. Moral of the story...I lost $500, didn't get my mower fixed, and the guy who "repaired" accused ME of breaking my mower. Me, the person who went to get his help in the first place. Makes no sense at all. 8. DO NOT use this place for any repairs of any kind, I promise you, you will not be satisfied and will instead be frustrated as I am. read more

Spray adhesive (3M Headliner and Fabric Adhesive/@Amazon) didn't solve the issue because the foam the headliner was attached to continued to crumble. So I did an online search and one of the companies I found was "Bigs Mobile Headliners." I liked the idea that they came to your location and did the work rather than me having to take my vehicle to some other location and leave it. I phoned Bigs and spoke to Jim Lucas and made an appointment for him to come to my house and do the repair/re-cover. Jim came out and none of the (dozens) of fabrics he had on hand were an exact match (one was close, but not exact). Using a fabric sample card, Jim found an exact match and ordered the material. Jim texted me a couple of times to keep me apprised of the progress on the arrival of the material (it was fast). Two days after the original appointment Jim phoned me and gave me a time he could arrive to do the repair. He arrived on time and completed the job in about two hours. The headliner now looks "factory new" (better). The fabric Jim used appears to be of better quality than the original. Jim does need access to A/C power to run his "glue gun" compressor. Interestingly, the price Jim quoted me was the lowest bid I got. It is unusual for "low bid" and "high quality work" to go hand-in-hand. But with Jim, it did. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the work Jim did and would highly recommend him. Oh, and Jim is very personable and cleaned up all of the fabric scraps in my driveway where he worked. When he left, you could even tell he'd been here.

Bought a brand new washer and dryer from them last year. The manager herself told me that they are…read moreexpected to last 10 to 15 years. Imagine my surprise when we are doing laundry and the entire washing drum breaks off and breaks apart. When I called, they said I had no warranty, even though when I bought them, I was told that we would. Now they want me to pay a service charge just to look at it, and then pay parts and labor on something they sold, that was obviously faulty, if it broke after 13 months of use. This place will sell you lemons, and then make you pay for it. You are most definitely better off going up the street to their competitors. I'll do my duty as a consumer to come back and inform others to take their money elsewhere.
