If I were to write it all out, I don't know that it would carry the depth of significance my reiki session has made in my life. First, I will say that I was not familiar with reiki at all. As a human, I am an enneagram type 8, very logical, often skeptical, and trust my gut more than any word or image anyone can show me. That said, I also believe we (collective humans, our earth and everything else on this planet) are matter. We are made up of atoms which is energy/matter. I am no scientist so I may have the verbiage off, but you get my gist. With that, I believed the fundamentals of reiki must do SOMETHING because it is all about energy. That said, my mind was blown and heart was SEEN without any prior personal information shared. I am a guarded person. I do not let my self show easily, even with my closest people. It is not intentional, it is just how I am after life has happened. In this studio, and in Angela's presence... there was a peace that is hard to put to words. A safety. A calm. A freedom for vulnerability. Now comes the MINDBLOWING stuff: it was as if Angela read my diary - except I do not have a diary. And not in weird or vague ways, but very specific, pointed intuition/knowing about me. There were some deeply personal wounds that she sensed, and so delicately inquired about, and I felt OKAY with it. It was a if the "stars aligned" and in that moment, it was okay to address it. In a few things, she used the *exact* words or phrases that have either been in my mind or that I have spoken to my best friend about. Not your everyday conversation or topics. It was certainly a divine appointment and while I didn't even THINK I would leave there "feeling" better, I left feeling SO many things: better, lighter... LIGHTER, even happy and excited (which is not my norm). I left feeling SEEN by my diety and I am still awe-struck by the entire event. I have continued to talk about it with a couple friends and even blogged about it - but I continue to ponder it and be affected by it in a positive manner a few days later. This is not for someone who is coming to expect to control the outcomes. I went in with my mind open and heart semi-open - and I feel like I left wide open and ready for positivity, change, and hope. Ill start by saying this was my first in person session, and I was excited but also nervous in a way. Not for the actual session, but for the awareness of what might be blocking me or holding me back. !!!!! Do not hesitate to go! It was an incredible journey that truly opened me up to my inner blockages, and cleared a path for me. Not only do I feel more centered but I actually slept that night. Wow! I'm truly amazed with the healing I received from White Magnolia Wellness (WMW)... for me, it was life changing! Angela went above and beyond in creating an incredible healing session for me. I completed a two-hour Reiki session, in which, she demonstrated a profound capacity to connect to my spiritual team and alleviate a huge amount of negative energy. Was a bit skeptical at first but I heard great things about reiki therapy so I tried it. Angela was a recommendation and she was amazing. I still don't truly understand how she does it but it really felt that she was touching me when her hands were at least 6" over my body. WOW!!! I am going to start my review with, "WOW". I was absolutely amazed by my experience with White Magnolia Wellness!!! I am not a person that seeks help in anyway other than going to my medical doctor when I feel like i cant take anymore. Reaching out to White Magnolia was something i would not have normally done. A quick little bit about myself, I have been dealing with depression and body pain for almost a year. I suffered a traumatic event that left me very broken and hurting internally and I did not know how much emotional trauma I was going through till i walked into White Magnolia. I walked into the office, and Angela was there to explain things to me briefly while i was filling out a form. She was very consciences with regards to respecting my space as well as making sure she wore a mask and let me know she was vaccinated, which made me a lot more comfortable. Her demeanor was mellow, gentle and kind. I was in a great deal of pain throughout my body, I had been suffering with headaches for weeks, as well as being depressed. I was absolutely nervous about what was going to take place, and Angela made me feel right at home. During our session, i started to feel relaxed and comfortable. Angela Started speaking of certain times in my life, that may have had an impact on me. As we spoke, i felt more and more relieved and felt like i was able to confide in someone who understood me without judgement. Angela was very comforting and gave me the upmost respect and focus, making me feel like i mattered and was of importance. She was very eager to help me to get better. Once I was done with my session, i was very tired for a little bit. I realized that i felt lighter and less afraid to talk about my feelings. I have been on a healing journey for some time now, and without a doubt I can say I was spiritually led to Angela, founder of White Magnolia Wellness, who has made a profound impact on my emotional and physical functioning in a very short period of time. I came to Angela about two months ago with physical symptoms ranging from the top of my head to the souls of my feet, in addition to significant hormonal and central nervous system challenges all stemming from a lifetime of illness, surgeries, and traumas.
