Extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism and disrespect. Tourist beware!!!! Shameful for what they did to honest people who had a medical emergency with our 4 year old. To rip off people taking a $150 deposit on a $250 tattoo without explaining their deposit is not refundable no matter what the situation is... I most definitely will not recommend them to any friends or family members. Which to add I have my entire body tattooed by honest companies from all over and never had an issue with even 1.. (I've spent over $20k on my ink and to think $150 is worth more to this business owner(Steve) than honesty and Integrity. read more

I have a regular shop I go to for my work, but a few friends and I were going to be in the area for the weekend so we thought we'd get matching tattoos to celebrate. We emailed the shop a full week in advance with our tattoo idea. Unbeknownst to us, the design we picked closely resembled something we didn't want to associate with, but weren't told that until right before the appointment. Steve, our artist, did a quick redesign on the spot for us. The work is just okay. Lines aren't clean, color wasn't filled to the outline, and compared to my regular parlor I think they charge too much for the quality of the tattoo I got. On the plus side, the shop is super clean & well decorated, and we had a good time getting our tattoos and piercings done there. If you're new to tattoos it's a good place to start. read more

Ok, my Best Friend was turning 40 over the weekend and a bunch of us decided to get tattoos that Saturday and then party it up that night. So I drove up from Boston and met everyone there. I knew what I wanted...a Sicilian Trinacria - yes, I am Sicilian. I looked it up on the conveniently placed computer and was able to put it on a jump drive the receptionist gave me and she printed out the 3 different versions I found of it. There were 4 of us getting tattoos and I wound up going last. What a great artist...she took the 3 pictures I had and made up her own version with my preferences. She was fast and has a light touch...since it was my first tattoo, I'm not sure what a light touch is for tattooing but it didn't hurt that bad. I guess it's my nature to do things randomly and spontaneously. On a recent trip to New Hampshire (I won't bore you with details of my long distance relationship) I was killing time with the bf was in class. I had just finished running my errands to the N.H. state liquor store when I saw a sign for "White Mountain Tattoo" (I'm so high class) I just pulled on in and decided to get a tattoo that I had been thinking about. Considering I had done 0 research - I lucked out. They were super nice and friendly. The place was clean and they were even able to upsell the friend I was with into getting her nose pierced. My wife and I had made appointments to get our tattoos done on our anniversary which we are very excited about. Much to our surprise when we showed up during regular business hours for our prescheduled appointment there was no one there after waiting an hour and a half we decided to leave. When we called the following day, they claimed that we didn't have an appointment that day and refused to give us our deposits back. There Ink might be good but I wouldn't know. Their complete lack of customer service was APPALLING. Not worth the headache. I lost 100$ over this and the refuse to give it back!!!! GO TO KELLY'S TATTOO in Lincoln. If I could leave a negative-starred review, I would. My aunt went to get her nose pierced--the piercer used the incorrect size for the needle, the hole was crooked, and then the stud used was too small and got stuck in the inevitable swelling of her nose. Removing the stud almost required stitches. All of these concerns were conveyed to the piercer, who just brushed them off. My sister-in-law went in only to get an extra pair of gauges because she knew about this story. However, after she expressed concern over the size of the flared gauges, the piercer forced a taper through her ear without telling her that was his plan OR asking if it was okay. As anyone with gauges knows, this is not how you stretch an ear. He then forced the too-large gauge through her ear, AGAIN without asking. The inner part of the hole then blew out, and bled heavily. He was completely unconcerned by this and unapologetic about giving her a "blow out," which was solved at our house hours later after much pain and blood and talk of going to the emergency clinic since her ear had been torn apart. We are a heavily pierced, heavily tattooed family--and mistakes can happen during these processes. Mistakes are understandable. However, to be unconcerned about causing a customer injury, to ignore their concerns, and to then perform acts on their body without asking or even notifying them, these are all completely inappropriate and, frankly, horrendous. read more

My husband & I went in this past weekend(3/10/12). He was looking to get the name of our daughter to be on his neck. We walked in to hear the 2 people at the desk bashing someone else's tattoo that was just done. My husband asked if anyone was available and for a price quote. The woman at the desk asked for the name, then mocked it when he said what it was. I replied that it was a greek family name and she said "yea i guess so", the guy then asked if we were spelling it with a K instead of a C to be "different". There are 2 versions of this name, Kalliope and Calliope, we simply chose to follow my family tradition. I also explained that to him. Between the 2 of them they couldn't be bothered to give a rough estimate for price after knowing the font (script, which the guy said looks like handwriting, how long have you been tattooing??) and the name. The overall attitude and experience was pretty poor. I'm sure the artist there do great work, if you can make it past the snotty pretencious judgemental front desk crew,,,,,, read more
