I have spent a lot of money on repairs lately and after that quote, it became clear it was time to cut my losses and put that money towards a new car. I told him thanks anyway and stepped into a meeting. i came back to a string of aggressive texts explaining why it was expensive and he went on about tools with lots of spelling mistakes making it sound like he didn't have them. I thanked him again and said I would pass on the service and then he began cussing me out. I've never had someone rip on me and call me poor for not hiring them. At no point did i ever disparage him or try and haggle. 3 texts over the space of an hour, two of which were passing on his service and somehow that's me wasting his time? He's just an asshole who doesn't know how to control his emotions or communicate or spell. So glad he made his character known before he came anywhere near my property.
