My elderly parents 82 & 79 arranged to have their car out to Willowbrook Chrysler. The Driver showed up. Great! As the key making could not be done for their car anywhere in Surrey. My mom & I were on the Phone with BCAA. My dad booked under his basic membership. However, my Mom has the Plus membership. BCAA told my mom to go out and give her card to the driver which she did and driver wrote it down. Then told my parents they had to take payment of overtime from them. Pardon? Of course my parents put it on their credit card. Plus Bayview had my Dad's Basic Membership and My Mom's Plus membership. I contacted Bayview Towing to correct this situation. She said "If BCAA said that it's a lie" continued to say more of the same rhetoric. I don't appreciate receptionist/Dispatcher slamming people who have been very caring with my elderly parents. Unlike Bayview Driver who outright told my parents it was "Overtime " and then the receptionist/dispatcher who said "Because your dad only had a Basic Membership and that is the reason for the charge " I explained My Mom, myself and BCAA where on the phone and the BCAA Professional told my Mom to give her card to the driver as she has a plus membership and her tow of 14.5 km would be fully Covered " We stayed on the phone while she did that. Taking advantage of clearly Vulnerable People is exactly what happened as soon as I and the BCAA professional hung up. Bayview said only BCAA can change that so call them. I did call BCAA spoke with a Professional and he tried to get to change and as for a refund for my parents credit card. Bayview said their card already been charged to late. The driver charged their card that is not new information. Both the receptionist/dispatcher and driver took advantage of my parents and didn't give a damn. Bayview did call me back after I hung up and I was on the phone with BCAA. There is absolutely nothing they can say to right this wrong. Since they never tried in the first place. BCAA is well aware of what transpired and has it on their memberships to NEVER use Bayview again for my parents. Willowbrook Chrysler is well aware of what happened to my parents. Luckily the driver hadn't dropped off the car yet. So now Bayview is on the radar of other businesses as well. I can handle someone who clearly doesn't want the job they have receptionist/dispatcher. What I want stand for is taking advantage of Elderly Vulnerable people not my parents or someone else's. That is the reason for my review today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Bayview towing to ANYONE. What was done to my parents was/is appalling and disgusting. Then Blame it on BCAA. It wasn't BCAA saying it was "Overtime" it was their Bayview Driver. That is exactly what my parents believed they were paying for. Had they known it was my dad's membership card they would not have gotten their credit card. My mom would have quickly referred to her membership number she had given the driver and he wrote down. This what being paid on commission means. Take advantage of anyone you can looks like. Attention Dan and Corey: Corey your sister is the receptionist/Dispatcher I speak of in this review. So the rude, unprofessional and who is Quick to Slam others. That will never change will it Corey Because she is your sister? Time & Date I will listen to the recording of it. Seems to be your answer in a lot of others where you have said the same thing. Long story short, someone keyed my car and damaged my door lock a couple of years ago. I made the claim right away but then procrastinated on following through with the repairs (for which there is a 2-year time limit if you want it covered by your insurance). I figured I'd have all the time in the world to get it done but then suffered a health condition that took me out for the months leading up to my 2-year deadline. So there's me, trying to find an auto body shop that would take my car in for repair on less than a week's notice. I initially didn't realize how ridiculous of a request that was until I spoke to my insurance provider and then called a large number of other auto body shops. Turns out they all have a 6-week waiting list right now. I literally got laughed at when I called some auto body shops to ask if they could take me right away. But Boyd Autobody Richmond was sympathetic to my situation and agreed to take my car right away, despite how busy they are. I was already on cloud 9 and so incredibly grateful when I went in to pick up my car. But little did I know, they still had one surprise left for me. After paying my deductible and getting my keys, I walked out to my car to examine their work. It was perfect. I then jumped in my car, prepared to drive off, when I looked around and saw that my car was immaculately clean. I was shocked. To put this into perspective, my car has not been that clean in years. I have two huskies, both of which shed like you wouldn't believe and love to run through mud, as well as the sand at the beach after getting wet. And then they get in my car. I literally gave up on trying to keep my car clean years ago. And I'm pretty sure there was close to an inch of husky hair than had accumulated on the floor of my back seats, which I tended to ignore because I have a little 2-door BMW so it was hard to get to that area and I never really had to see it anyway. So let's just say, I was convinced my car would never be clean again unless I paid at least $500 for a professional to detail it. I in no way expected Boyd Autobody to clean the inside of my car like that...and BMW certainly doesn't do it whenever I've taken my car in for servicing (not that I can blame them, lol). But Boyd Autobody Richmond went above and beyond on that front. I don't even want to know how many hours it took the poor guy assigned that task to complete it. I was so impressed and grateful that I ran back inside and asked if I could give the guy who cleaned my car a tip. But they, with a smile, said no, it's all good, and they would pass along my thanks. I am never taking my car to another auto body shop again.

He said that he would not charge me because ICBC would be changing its policy within the next couple of days; the policy change would be that vehicle owners would get free windshield repairs if they have comprehensive coverage. Even though that new policy was not yet in effect, Ron went ahead and fixed my windshield for free ;) I am super appreciative! The young man who fixed my windshield was also kind and amiable :) I will go back if I need another wind shield fix or replacement.

For those who think they're getting ripped off due to their own lack of knowledge I'd suggest googling your cars symptoms so you at least have some idea of what the trouble may be going in. I just had a timing belt/water pump done on a Toyota Camry and was very satisfied. A few years back I took my GMC truck in for a starting issue. They said they fixed it but the same problem arose a few days later. They towed my truck back and fixed it right this time and we agreed on a fair price for the visit. Pretty simple business model. If you're happy, you'll go back.
