Brought in a suit and white shirt on Monday and the woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, letting me know my items would be ready for pickup Thursday. Great! Their automated text system let me know my order was ready Thursday afternoon, but when I came in Friday at 1:45 a different employee informed me my shirt was not there yet, the truck still hadn't arrived that day but was due around 2. I popped back in a half hour later and she said she was still waiting on the truck but if I gave her my name she would call when my last item was ready. Not a problem. Got another automated text at 4:30 that my order was ready so I came back and walked in smiling. She said 'don't come in here cheesing, I told you I would call and I did twice without answer.' I laughed it off and let her know I didn't get any calls, to which she matter-of-factly read me back a phone number that was not mine. I said I was only back because I got a text, and since they are not open Saturday I needed the shirt before close. She did not apologize, rung me up, and I was on my way (while she got to work explaining to the other customer in line that their son's dress shirt was missing). Not only was I guaranteed the quote of $20 I was still charged 30. I didn't think too much about it, but was incredibly upset when I discovered TWO stains on a brand new dress for an important event. I had it hemmed, which was hemmed INCORRECTLY. I am not exaggerating. When I tell you there is only 3 inches of the hem at the correct length the seamstress marked it. The rest of it is uneven at three total different lengths and drags. It was very disturbing to maneuver the night tripping all over what I paid to be fixed. And of course the hours are wrong on all of their online info so you never know when to even speak with someone to get help :( read more

Per the other rating about the American flag, I just wanted to say that the flag was taken down and replaced with a new flag the same day. The old flag pictured was damaged in a storm. This is a wonderful company whom always puts the customers and their possessions first and I hate to see it put down for something that was fixed as soon as possible. read more

It's insulting when it takes a month to resolve an issue (which other employees have reassured a customer will be resolved and they admit was their fault) because the manager there denies responsibility. I never saw her write down any special instructions despite pointing out a small spot at the neckline of a dress I dropped off. Replacing it with a hole was not an improvement. Even though the manager at the main location attempted to mend it, she also admitted it was not acceptable. Unfortunately neither she nor the others involved relayed the story to the owner of how many times I was asked to come back "the next day" to pick up the dress (which unbeknownst to me had been damaged) before I finally asked where it was and what was taking so long. Background stories involving owner absence (due to a garbage business) and a mysterious nonEnglish speaker (who once the owner returned denied even worked on stains) were bizarre and unnecessary. Never add insult to injury by throwing the store policy: "it's at your risk" routine. Not only was it not indicated to me that any attempt would be at my risk, but the best employee there noted there was no "best try" tag on it and suggested it be sent back. So much for the manager at the Whitaker store asking me to return the dress so she could "research" it. Her research was a feigned attempt to cover up her mistakes, not to find out the value of the dress. I supplied that after I researched it myself. At that point, even though I got my money, it came only after more hassle in the form of arguing with the owner and telling the whole story over again. read more

I've been White Way for about 3 years now. I live out of town and mostly use them for sheets. I drop off the sheets when I leave town and pick them up when I return- sometimes 3 months later. I need to have a credit card on file but that allows me leave them there and have them paid for in case a friend stays at our place. Convenient! I have never had any issues. Friendly staff- nice, cooperative and accomodating. Your classic small business that has help come and go. I will continue to use them. read more

Brought in 6 shirts to get 1 day rush service done since I'm getting on a flight the day after. Came in when my clothes were supposed to be done and they were no where to be found. The women who helped me told me I should pick up my clothes from the plant on the way to the airport ???? Finally she agrees to have my clothes ready an hour before I leave to the airport. So I go in that day and 3 shirts are missing, we wait another 20 minutes and finally they find it. She then charges me 80 dollars for the rush??? After finally arguing about the fact that it wasn't rushed she finally agreed to give me a 10 percent discount which I paid for since I literally had no time left to fight. Mind you the whole time she is apologizing to the people behind me in line for it taking so long, not to me for screwing up my order. DO NOT get dry cleaning done here, there wash and fold is fine. I will never be back. I got quoted a price for two brand new shirts with tags to have sleeves pressed and to be heavy starched. 1. They are not heavy starched. 2. I had my receipt saying pick up Friday after 4 and the total is $6. I get to the place after 4 on Friday like stated and to my surprise they tell me it's $9. I have a receipt with the purchase date, total and date to pick up and am charged $3 more. Absolutely unacceptable. Companies that are run like this develop bad reputations. The person working was nice but literally could not handle the situation because he was new. Granted that was not his fault but don't leave a new employee alone if they don't know how to resolve an issue. I would not go here if they paid me to have my shirts dry cleaned.
