You literally lose track of time, your body finally relaxes, and your mind just shuts off in the best way. You can go pitch black or keep a soft blue light on, which made it even more relaxing depending on the vibe you want. 10/10 recommend if you're dealing with pain, stress, or just need to reset. Celebrated my graduation the day before services were scheduled and got some treatment for my poison ivy. Upon arriving for my spa treatments, I informed the crew at check in that I had poison ivy on my arm, and I had no idea about the services my fiance had scheduled, and they said could do my service and avoid the area. After filling out paperwork and my family dropping me off, they then said the services could not be completed due to the poison ivy and and that they would retain 100 dollars.. How would we have cancelled in time when I had just gotten poison ivy and my fiance was unaware until the day prior when I got treatment? Why couldn't the other services been provided ie scalp treatment? Why couldn't the area be avoided.. very disappointed. Update for the owner: I am also highly allergic to poison ivy and it is not contagious. You all choose to cancel my service and there was no waving of fee as you mention in your comment or I would've been happy to come back. We did call that morning to try to reschedule as my family stayed in town after my graduation, but upon hearing the fee I decided to come in, to a surprise spa day I didn't know about. We were not disrespectful in your establishment my father and fiancée came in to discuss the 100 charge as the whole reason I came in was to also avoid a $200 cancellation fee. The arguing was between whether the poison ivy was contagious or not. Please watch your building video to confirm this. I showed them my rash which I also posted in my review, it is not covering my arm and can be fully seen. Again not answering any of my other questions of why couldn't any other service been done.. like the scalp service he had booked. The agenda included oxygen therapy, IV therapy, and cryotherapy. I have had other similar experiences before, but I am very leery when it comes to needles and freezing temperatures. Let me say, the staff was amazing! They were young with a vibrant bubbly personality. That's much needed in this world where young adults in their 20s lack customer service skills. The staff was very accommodated and made sure that me and my friend were seated comfortably next to each other. Unfortunately, due to my small veins, I was unable to have the IV therapy because of the two stick policy from the Nurse. But, I did take the shot instead, and I felt amazing. The oxygen therapy also was needed and well received. I was able to rest comfortably under a warm blanket while being pampered. Last but not least came cryotherapy. I haven't been that nervous since I gave birth! But again, the staff was knowledgeable and very reassuring. The experience ended up being a success! And I was able to stay in the full seven minutes with no break!!! when I return to the Jacksonville area, I will definitely come here again for some true wellness care

I had the opportunity to check out Blue32 tonight at a special Yelp event, and I was very…read moreimpressed. This was my first experience trying out a cryotherapy chamber, and it definitely did not disappoint. Being a special event, I was also able to try compression treatment for my legs, and there was also localized cryo treatment offered. Started off with the Normatec leg compression. Imagine a snake squeezing your foot first and slowly moving up your leg to your hamstrings/quadriceps with sustained squeezes of 30sec each. Muscles felt amazing afterward, like I could actually run for a good while with little to no pain (I didn't, but I felt like I could). Followed it up with the big guns - the cryotherapy chamber. I swear, it felt like a scene out of "The Empire Strikes Back" - I expected to come out encased in carbonite - it was COLD!!! I got to about -210 degrees F during a 2m session, but I'll tell you what - SIMPLY AMAZING! My knee joints felt like new as the blood started warming back up. Consider me a believer, I'll need to give it another go...maybe for the full THREE MINUTES, hehe! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the local cryo, but that will definitely be on my list as I tend to cope with specific knee and ankle joint issues on occasion. Blue32 also offers an infrared sauna and a hyperbaric chamber. All in all, I had an excellent experience tonight. Owner Drayton Florence and his staff were great hosts tonight, and he took time to explain the benefits and the ABC's of each type of treatment. Being a former NFL player, he had extensive knowledge on how beneficial the treatments can be for different ailments. I'd also add that the actual cryo chamber treatment pricing is pretty reasonable ($39 intro, $55 regularly for treatment - par for the industry), so I'd recommend checking it out sometime. In this time of social distancing and such, Betty takes her time in a private room to do the spa pedicure, which is extremely detailed and time consuming, and most of all quiet (not like other nail salons, where there is a crowded room of people having services done). I've had treatments at other hotels on the island, and I can honestly say, that for pedicures, this is the best place in the area, and priced really well for the time spent on the service. Betty takes extreme care and time with me each time I've been here, and her pedicures LAST. I went from March 2020, then because of Covid-19, couldn't get another pedicure until July 2020, and I was able to paint over my toe nails and make it work in between. As I said, Betty is wonderful and will take great care of your pedicure needs and she does facials as well. I will continue to return as long as Betty is working at the spa.
