Before we even began the massage, he was taking a series of measurements and performing range of motion tests while asking me various questions about my habits and level of pain. He really takes the time to understand where your pain is coming from and knows how your body "should" work and how to get it there. It took awhile to relax and it can be a challenge to let go of your tight muscles, but the atmosphere is calming and I felt so relaxed and limber even after one session. It was as if I was finally able to stand up correctly after years of slouching and poor posture. I immediately scheduled additional sessions and I continued to improve my posture and my pain just melted away after a few weeks. If you struggle with any sort of chronic musculoskeletal pain I HIGHLY recommend getting a 2 hour session. You really won't regret it. It can be hard to get everything done in a one hour session especially if you haven't had a massage in awhile. He told me my lats felt like piano keys from all the knots I had in them. I always struggle when it comes to birthdays, Christmas and Father's Day gifts for my husband. He's one of those people who are hard to buy for.
