Guy claims that in his 17 years of business, he has not encountered a single issue that requires…read morehim to resolve a problem that has arose on a property that he worked on. Says no one has ever complained or requested a service call. That's bogus. My family used to run a landscaping company and even the BEST of work is scrutinized by uppity clients. It's part of the business, no matter the quality of the work. I learned all this from him when his guys spilled a LARGE portion of roundup on my grass. in multiple areas actually. I see the dying grass and immediately reference the invoice he left to see if they did use Roundup.. and yes.. I was charged for it. I call the guy.. he says.. "NO NO we didn't use ANY roundup at all on your property." I was charged for it, guy. Why? "Uh let me call my guys" He then claims his guys only used roundup on the little tiny back portion of my mulch beds.. (keep in mind they were there to do spring cleanup.. kill weeds.. and mulch.. So why wouldn't they use roundup in all the beds? and how's come all my mulch beds have dying rings around it because of an overabundance of roundup that washed out in the lawn. Nothing adds up with this guy.. He then comes over and diagnoses the patch as "lawn rust" which is ridiculous because rust is a VERY different thing. At this point I let him know about all my technical knowledge of grass and the science behind it.. and he immediately changed his tone because he knew at that point he couldn't bullshit me anymore. Thank God I knew my shit. But how many people has he screwed? He wound up "taking responsibility" for it.. i only say it with quotes because after he fixed it by replacing the dead parts with Sod.. he said it wasn't his fault again. While putting sod down.. he tried to pull this shit telling me the grubs under my grass in that area caused the grass to die and that it want his fault.. It was at this point i reminded (taught) him that soil is full of bugs that are beneficial for the health of the grass.. and these bugs tend to have control of the food and nutrients in the soil and this is what keeps them alive, and this keeps the grubs from growing.. and that when roundup is introduced.. it KILLS those nutrients causing the good bugs to move out of the area.. and allows for the grubs to grow. Once he realized I AM NOT TO BE MESSED WITH he changed his tone and fixed the whole thing. it doesnt look perfect but its ok.. about a month after the whole process.. this guy has like NO web presence so i made this profile for him. I'd hate to see you guys get screwed by this guy like we did. He is still arguing with my wife as we speak.. and wont take the hint that he was of the worst decisions we have made as a homeowner so far. Stay away from our house.. and do not call us again.

Cancelling our contract and going with someone else. Thank goodness we didn't put any money down on this job or we'd be going to court to get it back!
